Random Shots in the Dark (20)
We begin this edition of Random Shots with the biggest story consuming the nation today:
Tiger Woods.
I could care less about this story except I do have one question; why wasn't he driving a Buick?
One other note, however; Gloria Allred, attorney to women who don't need attorneys, lost no time in jumping into the mix "representing" one of Tiger's alleged girlfriends. "Superglo", as Larry Elder calls her is quicker than Ex-Lax.
So Barbara Walters thinks that (American Idol contestant) Adam Lambert is one of the ten most fascinating people in the world???
Kinda looks like White House social director Desiree Rogers (see below photo in my previous post.)
Well, I guess if I dye my hair with motor oil, comb it up halfway to the ceiling, and French-kiss some guy on stage, maybe I can be number 11. Actually, Walters could have gone to the MSNBC news room and filled up all ten slots. I would have picked the increasingly-bizarre Chris Matthews as number 1.
I wonder what all the Climate Change co-conspirators are going to talk about in Copenhagen in the wake of the e-mails scandal coming out of the UK. Meanwhile that other Barbara (Boxer, that is) is promising through her Senate committee to get to the bottom of the Climate-gate scandal. That's right. If Ms. Boxer gets her way, people are going to jail; not the crooked scientists like Phil Jones, but the hackers who got into the e-mails and exposed this whole business for what it is-a hoax.
"It's Senator Boxer."
But back to Copenhagen. Any hopes that this boondoggle meeting would be canceled were dashed when local Danish hookers announced they would give free sex to any of the delegates. So the conference is on big time, and a wonderful time will be had by all.
"We are the world!!!"
One VIP, however, has cancelled a speech he was to give in Copenhagen. Guess who that would be.
That's right. Mr Hoax himself, your friend and mine, Big Al, is apparently afraid of any hostile Climate-gate questions he might get from conference crashers or those folks that have been following him around on his book-signing tour. Time to lay low, right Big Al?
Today, Swiss authorities have let child-rapist, Roman Polanski out on bail as long as he stays in his chalet in Gstaad. (That's a community in Switzerland for all you UC-Santa Cruz Community Studies majors.) Polanski is supposed to stay in Switzerland until his extradition case is settled. Here's my prediction on how that turns out:
Has Bennie Thompson, Chair of the House Committee on Homeland Security....
Stop that! .....issued "contempts" citations for our new celebrity couple, the Salahis (who now say "their lives have been destroyed")yet?
I'd better stop here; I might get a "contempts" citation myself.

You forgot the bimbo in Italy who killed her roommate. She was found guilty, sentenced to 26 years.
