This week, a Florida judge in Orlando delayed a decision on the fate of Rifqa Bary, a 17-year-old convert to Christianity, who ran away to Florida and fears for her life if she is returned to her family in Ohio. Creeping Shariah.com has a video of a confrontation outside the courthouse involving an apparent representative of CAIR. Which raises the question; Why is CAIR attending these legal hearings, and what is their interest and/or involvement in this case?

I have been checking CAIR's website since this story broke, and I see no references to it at all. Yet, they have apparently taken an interest, and their interest appears to be on the side of the family in Ohio. So my questions to CAIR are:
What is your interest in this case?
What involvement, if any, did your organization have in the inquiry by Florida authorities when they went to Ohio to conduct their investigation?
Is CAIR paying the legal expenses for Rifqa Bary's parents, Mohammed and Aysha Bary?
It seems to me, the logical decision should be to err on the side of caution. At any rate, when this girl turns 18, it becomes a moot point, doesn't it? Hopefully, the date is not far off.

A good lawyer, and Rifqa has a good lawyer, can stall this until she turns 18. Then she will be safe.
I was just thinking if I were the judge, I could stall this thing and run out the clock by setting hearings and delaying decisions until she turns 18.
