Final Remnants of Yemen's Jewish Community Leaving

The final remnants of Yemen's ancient Jewish community are in the process of leaving that country due to religious persecution. Only about 250 Jews remain in that country, and almost all are leaving for Israel or the United States. Details are in the below Jerusalem Post article:

How sad and ironic that persecution of Jews in Middle Eastern countries never gets much international attention. Hundreds of thousands were driven out of the Middle East after 1948 when Israel was created. Now, so many years later, those few Jews still left face unyielding persecution.
It makes you wonder-where is the UN?
Where are all the human rights organizations?
Do they even care?
