Gojra, Pakistan in the aftermath

Last weekend in the Eastern Pakistan town of Gojra, mobs went on a rampage after rumors spread that a young Christian male had desecrated a Qu'ran. Numerous homes belonging to Christian families were set on fire. At this time, eight Christians are known dead, mostly women and children. Additional casualties are expected as authorities search through the rubble and ashes of the homes.The story is described in the below article from the Times of London:

I am so glad that I live here in the US. My copy of the Koran is multi-colored with the effect of highlighters and the notes I have made in the margins. But that is how I (and many others) study books.
