CNN Trying to Find the Missing Riot

We now join Wolf Blitzer and Jack Cafferty in the Situation Room.....

Wolf: "We are still working on that mysterious riot that occurred last week. All we know is that it happened in a European capital with a building that resembles our Supreme Court building in Washington. We now go to Jack Cafferty, who is receiving e-mails from our viewers. Do you have anything for us, Jack?"

Jack: "Not yet, Wolf. All I get is emails from those folks who hate Bush. Here's one:

'I don't know where this riot took place because I never read the blogs. All I know if there was a riot, it had to be Bush's fault.'

"Here's another. "Bush is an %*%$*532@#$%."

Wolf: "Keep on it Jack. We'll break in when we get more details. Hey, why don't we send our European correspondent, Richard Quest to find out where it happened?"

Cafferty: "Uh... last I heard, Richard was on assignment in New York-all tied up-if you know what I mean..."

"Riot? What riot?"

How 'bout "CNN Trying to Find the Missing Mosque Firebombing"?

or

"FOX NEWS Trying to Find the Missing Riot"?

Bryan,

Just speculating, but I am guessing maybe there is nothing to report-or MSM figures if they have to report a mosque fire bombing, they have to report everything else. CAIR didn't report it either. Isn't that strange?

Did you maybe think that the same applies to the "riot"? Wow, there was a protest and some of the demonstrators got out of hand and were arrested, what a pressing, all-important story!

This isn't some earth-shattering event, Gary.

Again, where is your beloved Fox News with this story???

Bryan,

I don't think you can describe what happened as a protest and a few people got out of hand. It was a riot. Period.

I guess Fox News let me down on that one.

There was no bombing. It was a gas cannister - the size that is used for camping - that was thrown through the window of a "cafeneon" (coffee house that men frequent - we aren't talking Starbuck's) and there is a "mosque" (prayer room in this case) in the backroom of this place.

There was no "mosque firebombing" Bryan, as much as you would love it, but then again, I gave you videos to watch and you still don't believe what your eyes see. The socialist/liberal/statist's disconnect between the occular intake and the mental processing never ceases to astound me..... You seem to have some idea that a tanker was exploded in Mecca. The incident was an arguement and someone picked up the "gazaki" as we call them - coffee is made on them in most old fashioned cafeneons - and lobbed it through the window....firebombing - for God's sake...

Gary, I wish, among the myrid of languages that you speak and are so versed in, that you spoke Greek....

Linnea,

Speak Greek? At this stage of my life, it ain't gonna happen.

Gary, at the very least, as your friend and co-worker, I have to teach you "Mee-a Bee-ra Pa-ra-ka-LO" just in case you ever get stuck in a Greek bar.
