Look familiar?
Another press conference. Another confession. Another apology to the wife and kids.
This time, it is South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford doing the mea culpa after a bizarre week in which he disappeared from public view and nobody knew where he was. Then his staff told reporters he was hiking in Appalachia.
Rather piking in Argentina.
So now Sanford tells us that he was with a mistress in Argentina, and he is apologizing to his wife and kids and .......boo hoo hoo.
So goes another "rising star" in the Republican Party who some were touting as presidential material in 2012. Good bye to all that. As anyone can tell you, only men of the highest moral character can occupy the Oval Office.
"Argentina? How come I never thought of that?"
