I don't read about it one way or another. It is not a topic I'm terribly interested in except to the point that many are using it to promote a dismantling of American industry and acquire more govt control in the name of saving the environment.; March 3, 2009 at 8:03 PM

Wow...do you see why I laugh at the whole notion of conservatism equaling reason? That's absurd!

Shoot, I'm going to start having strong opinions on the philosophy of Emmanuel Kant. I've never read his works, and I don't know anything about him, but apparently that's not important. All that matters is having an opinion!; March 3, 2009 at 8:29 PM

Did you know that Kant spent his entire life in Koenigsburg? Never left the city. The only time he came close to leaving is when the Univ of Erlangen offered him a post. he was close to accepting it, but eventually turned it down.
