Gary, there has to be a way to deal with Hamas and the Palestinian problem. By laying a wreath on the grave of Arafat, Jimmy Carter showed respect to the followers, and there are many. We need to talk to those people, not alienate them any further. I don't agree with you on that subject. Israel is not the good guy in this situation.
I guess we have to agree to disagree. I am sure Israel is not perfect, but the Palestinians lost my sympathy when they resorted to terror and killing of innocents in the name of their cause. Arafat was one of the leading architects of that. The issue is that Hamas has never shown any interest in negotiation. They simply want the destruction of Israel.
