Looks like my comment on your previous blog about supporting the Danes didn't go through (I did get an error message, so it's not too surprising.) So, here goes another try:

I'm behind you 100% on this one. Therefore, I'm making my students write a really long essay on Hamlet. Oh, wait, that probably doesn't actually help, does it?

In all seriousness, I feel as strongly about this as you. The extremists Muslims need to learn that if they want to be part of a free society, then they're going to have to expect to be offended every so often just like the rest of us.

Great post. Anyone willing to cover their eyes to this idiocy are enabling the downfall of western civilization in my opinion.

I am so impressed with the Danes.

While under Nazi occupation during WWII, the Danes defied Hitler by refusing to deport their Jewish population to concentration camps (unlike others) and now they refuse to be intimidated by Muslim fanatics.

According to a recent poll, the Danes are the happiest people on earth. Perhaps they have been blessed by God for their aforementioned displays of moral clarity: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/02/14/60minutes/main3833797.shtml

Thanks for your support. In respond to what 'reut r. cohen' said, I think we are happy, because we have less to think of, we have high taxes, which enables free health service, free schools (both grade, college and university), and free dentist service until the age of 18.

If you've been used to pay 40% in taxes all your life, you won't really think you are missing out.

I'd also like to point out, that freedom of speech is an important thing for us. The incident raised a debate, wether to insist on our beliefs, or abandon it, to avoid the threat. Luckily, our prime minister (although being a little simple minded) had the same beliefs as the majority of our population.

Lolzz..

Dutch companies are going through their worst phase..

You don't have a frigging "right" to offend any one's prophet or Gods.. as far as "free society" is concerned..d rinking beer and watching your mothers sisters nude is no way any close to that..

and so is making fun of Prophet Muhammad{saw}..

Danish firms are getting hit.. no matter what you do.. ;)
