Muslim Brotherhood in the Netherlands (5)

Hat tip Dagelijkse Standaard and Carel Brendel.nl. Translation by Fousesquawk.

Here is another in our series of translations from European articles on the activities of the Muslim Brotherhood in Europe. This is also the 5th such translation from the Netherlands. The story concerns Kauthar Bouchallikht, a female candidate for the Dutch Parliament with the Green-Left party. As has been previously reported, Bouchallikht has documented ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.

The below article is posted on Dagelijkse Standaard and based on an article by Dutch journalist/investigator, Carel Brendel, in his own blog, Carel Brendel.nl

Green-Left Kauthar Bouchallikht again under fire: "Took media training with the Muslim Brothers"

Caption under photo: Kauthar Bouchallikht at the announcement of the GL election list

While Jesse Klaver and Green-Left Party continue to firmly deny that candidate-Member of Chamber Kauthar Bouchallikht belonged to an unsavory club, more trash is found. Green-Left-and radical tracker, Carel Brendel, has come up with another remarkable discovery: Bouchallikht attended several media training (sessions) with a club that is connected to the Muslim Brotherhood.

Again, Green-Left seems to want to burn its fingers with the not-so-clean background of Kauthar Bouchallikht, number 9 on the party's candidate list. Journalist Carel Brendel has found new evidence that her old club, FEMSYO, and her past are a lot grimmer than she herself argues.

Bouchallikht has, specifically, in the past, attended media training with an organization that is connected to the Islamist Muslim Brotherhood. The organization Sinan Wren Foundation is managed by people from the Muslim Brotherhood. And thus, new evidence is found that FEMSYO is really not the club that Green-Left thought it was.

On social media and through the Green-Left, Bouchallikht continues to be put forward as a brave climate rebel, but her past with an extremist, Islamist umbrella group, FEMSYO, remains controversial. Only the top of the party has a gigantic plate on their head and they swear that criticism of the woman is racism, or hatred of women, or Islamophobia. Brendel then asks the following question:

"All in all, Bouchallikht was more active in the youth movement of the Muslim Brotherhood than (previously) thought.  It remains a puzzle that-even though she grew up in this environment- as vice-chairwoman of FEMSYO, she never noticed any of their involvement. Growing up in this circle, of course, doesn't mean that one is a prisoner of certain beliefs, but so far, the voter has not learned how she has freed herself. The most important questions in this case, moreover, are not about her,  but about Jesse Klaver and the party leadership of Green-Left.  Why isn't FEMSYO in her party biography? Has Green-Left investigated what FEMSYO stands for? Why did Green-Left blindly take the FEMSYO (position) that it is all the fault of extreme-right bloggers?"

Brendel rightly asks these questions because how can it be that the Green-Left party, time after time, dismisses this issue as a right-wing smear? The evidence clearly shows that FEMSYO is a club with dubious and radical links; as a serious party, do you really want to be associated with this?

How long can the Green (apologists) insist that it's all about right-wing smears? It is quite clear that FEMSYO is just wrong. So, Klaver, finally take your responsibility and throw the hardcore Islamist Bouchallikht off the election list!

Muslim Brotherhood in the Netherlands (3)

Hat tip Dagelijkse Standaard: Translation by Fousesquawk

A few days ago, we translated an article from the Dutch news outlet, Dagelijkse Standaard on the candidacy of a Muslim female parliamentary candidate for the Green-Left party, Kauthar Bouchallikht, and her possible connections to the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) in the Netherlands.

The below article is a follow-up to that article and also appears in the Dagelijkse Standaard. It now appears that Bouchallikht is the daughter of an MB leader in the Netherlands, Mostapha Bouchallikht.

This is the latest in our series of translated articles from European sources on the presence of the MB in Europe. It is the third such article from the Netherlands.,

Muslim Brotherhoodgate in Green-Left gets worse: Controversial candidate is now "probably" daughter of MB-leader

by Tim Engelbart, November 16, 2020

The net around Kauthar Bouchallikht, number 9 on the Green-Left party (list) in the coming Parliamentary elections, continues to close. The connections that this candidate maintains with the extremist Muslim Brotherhood is apparent not only from its membership-her own father is a prominent leader, a think tank is now writing.

Against its better judgment, Green-Left in 2020-2021, an otherwise completely secular party, is apparently planning to repeat the PvdA failure of 2012-2014 with Tunahan Kuzu and Selçuk Öztürk by giving a place on the list to an Islamist politician.  Because after it was earlier shown that their number 9, Kauthar Bouchallikht, through leadership positions in Islamic groups, carried with her the ideas of the MB, Jesse Klaver's party acted as if there was nothing wrong.

No, indeed, just a politician who is judged on her gender and religion, suggested the party leader. Nothing more to see here! So goes the not-so-convincing explanation from Klaver.

But that Bouchallikht is intertwined with the Islamists of the MB, which wants an Islamist theocracy, is not only evident from the dubious group, FEMYSO,* for which the future representative of the people was a board member. The connections also reach into her family domain, reveals the think tank, Global Influence Operations Report:

“The GIOR has discovered that in addition to her leadership position in FEMYSO, Kauthar Bouchallikht is likely the daughter of Mostapha Bouchallikht, one of the most important leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood in the Netherlands. The Dutch trade register indicates that her Amsterdam address is the same address used to register a Dutch foundation where Mostapha Bouchallikht serves as Chairman. (…) Based on their respective ages, the most likely conclusion is that Kauthar Bouchallikht is the daughter of Mostapha Bouchallikht, a relationship confirmed by other sources in the Netherlands."

Jesse Klaver and Green-Left can stay hidden and pretend there is nothing strange with Mostapha Bouchallikht Junior. But in the end, the party is doing one thing by this: Put themselves on the pile, drop in the polls, and let the poison cloud called Islamism sneak through a crack into the Second Chamber. Does the party want to have all that on its conscience? We will soon learn.

Netherlands: Green-Left Parliamentary Candidate Has to Explain Nazi Flags

Hat tip Dagelijkse Standaard. Translation by Fousesquawk.

We have recently reported on the political candidacy of Kauthar Bouchallikht, who is a candidate for the Green-Left party for the Second Chamber of the Dutch Parliament. Not only is she linked to the Muslim Brotherhood, she now has to explain her presence at a 2014 rally in which swastikas were displayed. The below article is by Tim Engelbart in the Dagelijkse Standaard. Translation by Fousesquawk.

 https://www.dagelijksestandaard.nl/2020/12/kauthar-poseert-met-nazi-vlag-kauthar-zegt-sorry-en-voila-kauthar-mag-blijven-als-groenlinks-kandidate/

Kauthar poses with Nazi flag, Kauthar says sorry, and....voila! Kauthar can stay as Green-Left candidate

- by Tim Engelbart December 9, 2020

Yesterday another row came up around Green-Left candidate for the Second Chamber, Kauthar Bouchallikht.  Photos surfaced of the Muslim Brotherhood youth administrator with a swastika flag. But whoever thought that meant that Green-Left would finally say good-bye to the young woman is mistaken: Green-Left and Kauthar are married, and do not want to divorce.

The candidate commission of the Green-Left, which drew up the list for the upcoming (Parliament) election, is confronted with the facts every week: It was an unbelievably stupid thing to put Kauthar Bouchallikht (on the 9th spot, therefore eligible) on the election list. Not only because she was a youth administrator for the Islamist infiltration movement, Muslim Brotherhood, but also because in the past, she marched in very unsavory demonstrations, in which swastikas were waved to indicate that Israel is a kind of reincarnation of the Third Reich, or something like that.

End of Kauthar's political career? No, she may stay because she so sincerely said, "sorry".

"The Green-Left candidate went to the demonstration to stand up against injustice and violence in the Gaza Strip. But also present were flags with swastikas, which were removed before the demonstration could begin on orders from the mayor. Bouchallikht calls that a correct decision. She says that the photo of herself is "unbelievably painful".

"The comparison between Israel and Nazi Germany is disgusting. I loathe anti-Semitism. It goes against everything I stand for."

A spokesperson for Green-Left announced that now that Bouchallikht has so "unambiguously distanced herself, there are no further consequences for her position as number 9 on the list for the Second Chamber election list."

Party all around, of course, because everyone again falls sobbing into each other's arms- Nazi flags or not. And Green-Left can go back to the order of the day: Promise children 10,000 euros, and then take it away.  Always a nice pastime in the high Klaverian (Jesse Klaver-head of Green-Left party) sphere, right?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fousesquawk comment: It is not clear to me whether Bouchallikht was also carrying the flag in question. According to the photo she was not.

In fairness, I should note that there is a difference between carrying a Nazi flag itself as opposed to one that includes a swastika indicating that Israel is a  Nazi-type state (which it is clearly not). According to our own State Department definition of anti-Semitism and that of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance, equating Israel with Nazi Germany constitutes an element of anti-Semitism. To use the swastika as a propaganda tool to condemn Israel is clearly a red flag-like waving a red flag in front of a bull- or in this case in front of Jewish people who don't need to be reminded of the Holocaust.

Muslim Brotherhood in the Netherlands (2)

Hat tip Dagelijkse Standaard-Translation by Fousesquawk.

This is the latest in our series of translations from European sources regarding the presence and activities of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) in Europe. This is the second such article from the Netherlands and concerns a particular Muslim candidate for office who is suspected of being connected to the MB.

Naive idiot club Green-Left (party) puts Muslim Brotherhood-Islamist  as (candidate)- Spot number 9 on election list

-by Tim Engelbart, 12 November 2020

So they have succeeded: As a strictly secular, left party, they have placed Kauthar Bouchalikht, someone from the extreme-right Islamic hate club, Muslim Brotherhood, on place number 9 in the coming Parliamentary elections.

Give credit where credit is due: Carel Brendel, retired AD- journalist, discovered that the leftist secular and liberal Green-Left placed someone from the hard-hitting, extreme-right Muslim Brotherhood on an election list spot for the coming Parliamentary elections. Her name is Kauthar Bouchallikht, and she was vice-chair of the youth organization of this sharia club (MB).

"The candidate commission of the Green-Left has awarded a high candidate position in the coming Second Chamber elections to Kauthar Bouchallikht, the vice-chair of the youth and student organization of the Muslim Brothers. The celebratory biography makes no mention of this striking activity."

And no, that does not mean that the Green-Left has placed a terrorist on their list. But the MB is a fanatical and fundamentalist movement that attempts to bring about sharia and Islamic law through democracy. In France, President Macron has recently started warning against these crazy people, Brendel writes.

"Nevertheless, the MB is seen by many as a problematical political-religious movement, which would promote 'Islamic separatism' (according to French President Emmanuel Macron)  and in the longer term possibly more dangerous for democracy than Salafism (according to what the agency for Protection of the Constitution in the German state of Nordrhine-Westfalen reported.)"

So it is important that the Green-Left remove this girl from the election list. Or the ideals of the party should be changed to re-establishing the Netherlands as a theocratic, Islamic state. That is, naturally, also possible.

Netherlands: Who Is Soumaya Sahla?

Hat tip Dagelijkse Standaard. Translation by Fousesquawk.

Soumaya Sahla

The big news in the Netherlands this week is revolving around Soumaya Sahla, a member of the Dutch Parliament representing the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy, (VVD). Recently, Geert Wilders accused the VVD of having a former terrorist within their ranks in the Dutch Parliament. Lo and behold, it turns out that Sahla was arrested in 2005 in Amsterdam and charged with terrorist activities as a member of the Hofstad Network, an Islamic terrorist group in the Netherlands who wanted to assassinate Wilders for his criticism of Islam. At the time of her arrest, an automatic weapon was found in her possession. Sahla spent three years in a Dutch prison from 2005-2008.

That didn't keep her from getting into the Dutch Parliament for the VVD. Apparently, nobody knew-least of all the VVD! Now, however, given the furor, she has decided to resign her duties that have something to do with radicalization issues. In addition, she has stated that she greatly regrets her past life.

Below is an article by Frits Bosch in the conservative Dutch blog, Dagelijkse Standaard. Translation by Fousesquawk.

https://www.dagelijksestandaard.nl/2022/01/column-frits-bosch-soumaya-had-hele-vvd-bij-de-staart/

Frits Bosch column: Soumaya had the entire VVD by the tail

By Frits Bosch, January 27, 2022

Since 2011, Soumaya Sahla has been the right hand of the VVD celebrity Frits Bolkestein, 88. She was never a problem for the party until Geert Wilders rang the bell, and her past was revealed during the Second Chamber (Parliament) talks over the coalition accord. The mainstream media and the (2nd) Chamber were furious that Wilders came forward, he was "racist". Until big objections arose against her from the VVD itself, "How can this be, why didn't we know?". A spicy detail is that Geert Wilders himself enjoyed the mentorship of van Bolkestein as a faction member of the VVD. It is completely right that Wilders came forward. Fortunately, there is still someone awake in the 2nd Chamber.

It would be appropriate if the mainstream media swiftly offered their apologies to Wilders. Naturally, they won't do that. The moral level of the mainstream media and Chamber members is lousy, but that's not news. Ignore the potential danger of a dangerous threat.

Soumaya is working on a dissertation on "the orthodox, religious worldview". Sahla is Muslim, fine. But she was and perhaps still is orthodox, Islamist, Salafist. I hope that she will also read the books by Christopher Hitchens, "God is not great" and by Afshin Ellian, "Allah does not know better".  They (would) save her a lot of work.

Islam has the controversial practice of taqiyya. It would allow Muslims, "for the good cause" to feign integration and moderation, to emerge like a devil out of a box as a true Muslim if that makes sense. So in England, in part of London, sharia law applies. Here no. Do (Kauthar) Bouchallikht and Sahla practice taqiyya? We'll never know.

The next question is how is Kauthar Bouchallikht doing, also with her "fine past". She is keeping a low profile and so is the Green-Left (party). Incomprehensible that these women with a terrible history, got through the beauty commission of our political parties. It works every time. Where is the thinking? This cannot be?!

They are, indeed, "clean women". Somaya Sahla is herself stunning in a pretty suit in order to come across as especially adapted. Would she "tickle" Bolkestein in his (sensitive) place? What do you think?

Bolkestein has been a first-class mop throughout his unimpressive political career. A frightfully vain fellow, as I once noticed during a seminar on Islam. He is a man who says A but shrinks from B. He thought that we and (Pim) Fortuyn would cut a sorry figure internationally. Now he has made a fool of himself. Justifiably, this dull party is in a heavy downward trend.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Below, from Blikopnieuws (see link) is a translation of Sahla's statement:

"There has been a lot of commotion in the past weeks about me and my past. I regret that deeply and feel the need to say a few things about it. I want to be held accountable for a period of 16 years ago which I am not proud of. It is a black page in my life. I deeply regret the choices that I made then, and everyone in my circle knows that about me. I turned those pages a long time ago. I now see that it is good that (I) also express this regret publicly.

I gladly dedicate myself daily to the safety and freedom of our beautiful country. From this motivation, I am also actively involved in the VVD. The commotion that has arisen stands in the way of my positive contribution at this time. Thus, I am resigning my chairmanship in the J and V thematic network. I remain motivated to look where I can make a contribution in a free and safe society. I am also remaining in the VVD."

The Muslim Brotherhood in Europe

 Hat tip Carel Brendel.NL

This is the latest in our series of European articles translated from the original regarding the presence and the activity of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) in Europe. This article (mostly in Dutch) is by the Dutch journalist Carel Brendel, who has written numerous articles on the MB. Translation (of the Dutch)  by Fousesquawk.

http://www.carelbrendel.nl/2020/11/26/organisatie-europese-moslimbroeders-noemt-femyso-als-eigen-instelling-in-document-uit-2020/

Organization of European Muslim Brothers mentions FEMYSO as its own institution in 2020 document

-Carel Brendel, 26 November 2020

In the beginning of this year, a report (pdf) was posted on the Facebook page of the Council of European Muslims (CEM), since last year, the new name of the Federation of Islamic Organizations in Europe (FIOE), giving an oversight on the most important institutions of the European Muslim Brothers. The Arabic-language report on the origin, history, and aims of the organization is dated 31 January 2020. It mentions, among others, the Forum of European Muslim Youth and Student Organizations (FEMYSO), where Green-Left Parliamentary candidate Kauthar Bouchallikht functioned as vice-chair-person until December 1, as one of the FIOE/CEM institutions.

On 14 April 2020, I copied the report on the following link. On 17 April, I posted a  "Twitterwire" on the Facebook report, which confirmed earlier conclusions by investigators regarding the Muslim Brothers. At the end of April 2020, the info-document disappeared from the Facebook page of the Council of European Muslims.

Researchers and intelligence services, including the AIVD, consider the FIOE (now CEM) as the umbrella organization of the Muslim Brothers in Europe (Muslim Brotherhood). Institutions created by the FIOE/CEM are:

European Institute for Human Sciences, established in 1990,  theological education, with branches in France, Germany and Great Britain.

FEMYSO, established in 1996.

European Council for Fatwa and Research, (established in 1997), a council of clergy, for a long time under leadership of Yusuf al-Qaradawi, spiritual leader of the MB. Most members come from the circle of the MB, as well as in recent years, clergy from Milli Görus and the Turkish government organ, Diyanet.

Europe Trust (established in 1997), the real estate branch of the Muslim Brotherhood.

The European Forum of Muslim Women (established in 2006), which like FEMYSO, has good access to European institutions, but they do not advertise their connections with FIOE/CEM.

The European Assembly of Muslim Imams and Spiritual Guides (established in 2012). In 2019 this institution was revived under the name European Council of Imams.

In April, I based my tweets on Google Translate. Due to the question surrounding the candidacy of Green-Left Kauthar Bouchalliikht, I asked a (certified) translator of Arabic to look over the text again. He confirmed that the CEM considers itself as a continuation of the FIOE. According to him, my list of institutions created by FIOE is correct.

Below is the translation in English of the relevant paragraphs.

(Note: The below two paragraphs are from Brendel's article in English and not translated by Fousesquawk.)

After appreciated efforts of coordination and communication for five years, the “Federation of Islamic Organizations in Europe” (with this name at the time) was established, as it was officially registered in November 1989, and with the establishment the features of the idea of gradual settlement (inburgering, red) started to become clear to the leaders of Islamic action, whether at the central level or in European countries. And with it emerged the challenge of the European identity of Muslims in Europe. After the establishment, these leaderships were actively seeking to formulate the directions, policies and goals from which to serve their vision of European Islam and direct various efforts and energies to consolidate this idea and spread it among Muslims in Europe in general and among those working in Islamic institutions and to define it at all levels.

The idea of specialization emerged as a working tool and a necessary and effective approach to achieving the goal of settlement, so the contribution and initiative was to establish a group of specialized institutions, the most important of which are: the European Institute for Human Sciences (1990), then the Federation of European Institutes for Islamic and Human Sciences (2007), and the Forum of European Muslim Youth and Student Organizations (1996) The European Council for Fatwa and Research (1997), Europe Trust (1997), the European Forum Of Muslim Women (2006), the European Assembly of Muslim Imams and Spiritual Guides (2008), which in 2019 became the European Council of Imams…”

According to the Arabic translator I engaged, the (meaning) did not go well after that, but it finished the list of institutions with the European Center for Research and Leadership Qualification (established in 2012), a lesser-known established institution in Switzerland.

Below follows the Arabic text.

Council of European Muslims

@eumuslims.org

Council of European Muslims·Vrijdag 31 januari 2020·
