The Vienna Attacker: Kujtim Fejzulai

Kujtim Fejzulai

As so often happens in terrorist acts, the initial reports are all over the place as to how many attackers, how many victims, and other aspects of the incident. So it was yesterday in Vienna. Now the dust has settled, and it looks like we have the final details. Five people are dead, 15-22  hospitalized, and The attacker-and likely the only attacker was a 20-year-old man named Kujtim Fejzulai, shot and killed by police, who held dual citizenship in both Austria and North Macedonia. He was apparently born in Austria. Others are in custody as possible accomplices, but we will have to wait and see as to final disposition.

Fejzulai served time in prison after he was arrested in 2019  trying to travel to Syria to join ISIS. Thus, we can once again ask the question: When will the Europeans learn their lesson? This man should not have been walking free in the first place. Sending ISIS volunteers to prison for a few months or giving them retraining will not turn them around. As a result, five people are dead.

So once again, innocent people in Europe are dead thanks to that continent's lax immigration, asylum, and judicial policies. Now we hear the expressions of outrage from national leaders who allowed it all to happen in the first place. They talk tough and insist that they will not be cowed. But they are cowed. They are engineering the Islamization of their own societies. This will happen again-and-again- and again. Think of it: As the sidewalks are washed down to remove the bloodstains, more attackers are arriving every day.
