I haven't heard much from Eleanor Clift in recent years because I don't watch John "Bye-Bye" McLaughlin and his McLaughlin Group on TV. Suffice to say, she has enough dopey statements on her resume to fill the Library of Congress. I caught this piece on Legal Insurrection, and boy, Eleanor hasn't gotten any wiser with age. In this latest piece, Eleanor says that Ambassador Chris Stevens was not murdered. He died of smoke inhalation.

Now that I think of it, Jesse James wasn't murdered either. He died of lead poisoning.
But we must have those ventilators in the Benghazi mission replaced. Call in OHSA to do a complete investigation. Maybe they can have some poor contractor do the perp walk like they did with the guy that made that infamous video.
As for the technicalities of how Stevens died, I pray the immediate cause of death was indeed smoke inhalation when you consider the gruesome details floating around as to what those barbarians did to him.
And Eleanor Clift is a complete idiot.

I suspect she knows that if someone dies of smoke inhalation resulting from an act of arson, it is chargeable to the person who set the fire, at least as felony murder. What she probably said was that Ansar al Sharia operatives did not see him alive, and shoot at him. Whether that is of any significance would depend on why and in what context she said it -- but I don't watch that show either.
