More Garbage Out of San Francisco

San Francisco DA Kamala D Harris

San Francisco playboy mayor Gavin Newsom

Previously, I have reported on the murder on June 22 of Anthony Bologna and two of his sons by Edwin Ramos, a Salvadoran illegal immigrant gang member (MS-13)in San Francisco. The incident occurred during a traffic incident when the Bologna car apparently accidentally blocked Ramos' vehicle, at which time, Ramos allegedly shot the three to death. Of course, the killings have sparked outrage among the sane citizens of California (a declining number, to be sure.) It has raised the whole issue of sanctuary cities like San Francisco who incarcerate illegal alien gang members, then release them back into the streets without notifying ICE. Now, San Francisco's liberal DA, Kamala Harris, has announced that she will not seek the death penalty. Once again, Tony Bologna's widow, Danielle Bologna, has been victimized, this time by an insensitive legal and political system in San Francisco. Harris not only doesn't believe in the death penalty, she doesn't believe in turning criminal illegal aliens over to ICE either. Guess what. She may be our next attorney general in California. And who knows, maybe a future US Supreme Court pick.

Reached for comment today, ironically, at a ceremonial celebrating the independence of Mexico, El Salvador and other Central American countries, San Francisco's playboy mayor and future gubernatorial candidate, Gavin Newsom begged off, saying he didn't know enough facts about the case and that he would "defer" to Harris' judgement. Maybe he didn't want to "offend" El Salvador by commenting on one of their more illustrious citizens. Maybe he just doesn't care.

Of course, Playboy Gavin doesn't have much time to learn the details of this murder since he is busy garnering support for his run for governor next year. He has now been endorsed in the Democratic primaries by ex-president Bill Clinton, who will make two campaign appearances on behalf of his fellow playboy. And why would a former president deign to get involved in a California gubernatorial Democratic primary? You see, Playboy Newsom's opponent will be none other than ex-Governor Jerry Brown, whom Clinton doesn't like. Remember during Clinton's first campaign when during a primary debate, Brown accused Clinton of laundering money through his wife's law firm in Arkansas?

Yeah, that wife.

Bill, of course, lost his temper and defended his wife's "honor" by telling Brown he wasn't fit to stand on the same stage with her. So now, it's payback time for Bill Clinton as he endorses an empty suit playboy who runs a sanctuary city-and runs it into the ground.

San Francisco is by every measure, is a cesspool of insanity, run by heartless politicians who care nothing for the welfare of their decent citizens. That Bill Clinton would support Newsom just fortifies the old proverb about "birds of a feather". Meanwhile, step by step, a woman who lost her husband and two sons now loses her fight for justice. Even if convicted, which California judge will either give a lenient sentence or reverse the conviction or reduce the sentence in the future. Which judge will turn Ramos loose someday? To add insult to injury, she has to watch empty suit pols like Newsom and Harris advance their careers. Sadly, the long years ahead for Danielle Bologna are sure to be filled with hurt, frustration, anger and grief.
