KinderUSA vs Yale University Press

In my recent post (Guess who's running for City Council in Irvine), I described how CAIR attorney, Todd Gallinger, has tried to sue Yale University Press over a book about Hamas which had mentioned Gallinger's client, Kinderusa as being connected to terror groups.

The suit was eventually dropped when Yale came back with a SLAPP suit against KinderUSA.

A SLAPP suit is a legal provision in certain states. It stands for strategic lawsuit against public participation. In short, it is an attempt to file a suit designed to harass persons or entities who are attempting to express their view on certain issues. It is also designed to discourage those with lesser resources from expressing certain viewpoints.

Here is the website for article from Inside Higher Ed.com:

I have posted all of this information on Red County.com (in Orange County). Mr Gallinger reads that blog and occasionally chimes in with his views, so we are anxiously awaiting his response. So far, all we have gotten to this point is a nasty-gram from an anonymous attorney calling me an idiot.
