Another day, another rape in Angela Merkel's Germany. This time a young woman was attacked by a group of North African Arabs at the Giessen (Hesse) trains station and raped.

At least this time someone is willing to stand up and tell the public who the perps are. It is not simply "youth" or "southerners" as the media and the authorities euphemistically like to call them. If you don't read between the lines you would think the rapists are young, beer-swilling Bavarians in lederhosen and funny green hats. They are not. They are Middle Eastern and African migrants, refugees, asylum-seekers and wandering minstrels. These bums have no respect for the countries who have granted them asylum and provide food and housing for them. They think the "infidel" local women are theirs for the taking.

Another thing that needs to change is not being able to deport these people because they don't have passports or their home countries don't cooperate and take them back. Taking away aid and cutting off foreign relations might change that behavior.

Racial Indoctrination at Ohio State

If you are wondering why race relations in America are going backward, you might pay a visit to one of our universities, where demonizatuon of white people is in full fashion mode. Take Ohio State for example.

I  am not going to repeat what I have already written on this subject many times.What is going on at Ohio State is going on in many many other universities. Remember all those calls from people like Eric Holder for Americans to have a frank conversation about race. I say fine as long as it's a two-way conversation. That is not what OSU wants. They tell white students they are to shut up and listen when some persons of color spouts off on their grievances, real or imagined.

This kind of indoctrination is dangerously divisive. Notwithstanding our history of slavery and segregation, white Americans today (with the obvious exception of the KKK and neo-Nazis who are a tiny fringe) white America is not trying to keep minorities down. The entire government at every level is working to advance the interest of minorities. We have raised  two generations of Americans to believe that discrimination is wrong. This white privilege crap is 50 years too late.

Keith Ellison's False Analogy About WW 2 Jews

Keith Ellison (D-MN) is speaking out this week in support of the DACA dreamers. In making his case that the US should let everybody in and leave the illegal aliens in peace, he brings up the analogy of Jews fleeing Nazi Germany in the 1930s.

This is a false analogy. It is true (and regrettable) that the US turned back the ship St Louis, which was full of European Jews fleeing Europe. Most eventually died during the war when Germany occupied the European countries they settled in when the ship returned to Europe. Certainly, we should have accepted them

First and foremost, however, European Jews were not fleeing poverty. They were fleeing for their lives. Nor were they fleeing civil wars as is the case with Syrians and Iraqis. As to that point, the US was not concerned that some of the European Jews might be terrorists who could not be vetted. Jews were not involved in terror attacks in Germany or anywhere else in Europe.

Moreover, who is Ellison to voice his concern over European Jews? Many consider Ellison an anti-semite due to some of his  associations with certain questionable organizations.

And where is Ellison's concern for religious groups that are fleeing for their lives as we speak? I am talking about the Christians in Syria and Iraq being hunted down by ISIS. What about the Coptic Christians of Egypt, whose churches are being burned and bombed? Their situation is comparable to European Jews of the 1930s and 40s. Ellison is silent, perhaps, because the persecutors are Muslim.

Ellison is highly disingenuous when he brings up European Jews to make the argument we should support DACA and the millions of people who have come illegally to the US from Mexico and Central America. What exactly we should do with them is another story.

I realize there is an argument in favor of giving a break to the so-called Dreamers. Someone who actually was brought to this country as a toddler by their parents and knows no other country should be able to regularize their status. Each case should be carefully examined, however. What to do with their parents is another problem to be dealt with.

However, these are not people fleeing deadly persecution as were the Jews. In reality I doubt Ellison cares about Jews and Christians. He asks his audience what they would do if the European Jews of 1941 showed up on our doorstep. In my opinion, he would  have turned them away. Naturally, he would not give his true reason; he would probably talk about the need for a sovereign country to control its own borders. Except Ellison doesn't believe in that.

Perusing "What Happened"

"An angelic figure"   Hillary Clinton 2012 and 2015 winner of the Fousesquawk "Jerk of the Year"


I am not about to go out and purchase Hillary Clinton's latest autobiographical book, "What Happened". I have heard her talk about it on shows like The View. I have also leafed through it at Barnes and Noble. I know from the book reviews and the pundits that it is full of invective against the man who defeated her (Trump) and full of reasons why she was deprived of what she considered rightfully hers, the presidency of the United States. There is plenty of blame to go around, from James Comey to Bernie Sanders (who she cheated out of the nomination) to the Russians, right-wing radio, the New York Times (!!), and so on.

Mind you, I have not read the book, only perused it, but there is something else I have noted, especially in the final chapters. It is the tendency to use flowery quotes of others to wrap her own persona in. Gone is the angry, vindictive, screeching and lying Hillary we all know. What emerges in the parts I have read is an angelic figure full of love and compassion for her fellow man (except Mr Trump and Republicans, that is). There are quotes from Eleanor Roosevelt as well as an African proverb (which she dearly loves and cherishes).

Then there is this: This May, Mrs Clinton gave the commencement speech at Wellesley University, which is her alma mater. It was a fiery speech attacking Trump. However, in her book, she quotes excerpts from a speech  given by a Wellesley graduating student who shared the stage with her, a young woman named Tala Nashawati. In this speech, Nashawati referred to emeralds and told her audience that many flawed emeralds were actually better than perfect emeralds. She compared herself to a flawed emerald.

That is all well and good, but in "What Happened", Hillary applies the flawed emerald metaphor to herself pointing out that her critics often refer to her as "flawed Hillary".

To which Hillary tells her readers that it is she who is the "flawed emerald".

No, Hillary Clinton is just a piece of green glass more suitable to bottle Coca Cola. She is a phony. She is a liar. She is a dishonest person-a crook. The only emerald is her never-say-die tenaciousness, a quality even her worst enemies concede as Trump did during one of the debates. Every thing else is flaws-flaws of character and judgment. There is no authenticity. There is no character. Hillary Clinton is a vainglorious megalomaniac, which her body language in public should have convinced everyone by now. Her writing merely reflects that. She is determined to create a legacy similar to Eleanor Roosevelt (an absurdity in itself) if not to rekindle her flickered out presidential hopes.

Hillary Clinton is no emerald. She is an empty and broken Coke bottle not fit for recycling..

Will This Be Lawrence O'Donnell's Last Words on MSNBC?

MSNBC has made numerous references to Bill O'Reilly's  tirade at his staff a few years ago that was caught on camera.

According to Mediaite, this 8-minute clip is from Lawrence O'Donnell's The Last Word show on MSNBC. O'Donnell on August 29. O'Donnell, who questions the temperament and language of President Trump, showed his own temperament and language when he thought the cameras were turned off. He then goes off on an expletive-deleted tirade when his earpiece malfunctions and he hears a woman talking about something unrelated. Then he hears someone hammering in another room and goes ballistic.

The Curious Case of American Jews Who Oppose Israel

Having been an activist supporting Israel and opposing anti-Semitism on the campus of the University of California at Irvine for the past ten years, it has never ceased to amaze when confronting Jewish anti-Israel activists. As a gentile, I have learned that the Jewish community in America is quite fragmented even when it comes to life and death issues affecting them. But why is it that more than just a tiny fringe have identified themselves with the Palestinian cause?

Let me begin by mentioning some of the voices that I have encountered on and around UC Irvine who support the Palestinians and find little to nothing about Israel that they consider good.

Jewish Voice for Peace is arguably the worst offender as a Palestinian-supporting organization made up of Jews. To begin with, they are not shy about resorting to disruptions of pro-Israel events as Benjamin Netanyahu learned a few years ago in New Orleans. They have participated in disruptive events in concert with Students for Justice in Palestine, which I consider nothing less than a brown shirt organization dedicated to the destruction of Israel. Once at UCI, I listened as a trio of them advanced the idea that those supporting Israel had no right to feel comfortable on campus-this in response to complaints from Jewish students of intimidation. One of them, Matan Cohen (an Israeli), stated that pro-Israel speech was "useless discourse".Lesson learned? JVP does not believe in free speech for those they disagree with.

J Street and its affiliate Campus J Street profess to be "pro-Israel-pro-peace". That is a joke. This George Soros-funded group takes the pro-Palestinian side on virtually every dispute between the Palestinians and Israel. At least JVP is honest about where they stand. J Street is not. They align themselves with virulent enemies of Israel like Palestinian-American activist Linda Sarsour.

Of course, American academia has more than its share of those who actively speak and write against Israel, and a fair number are of Jewish background. I could list Mark LeVine and David Theo Goldberg of UC Irvine, Judith Butler of UC Berkeley, and Norman Finkelstein of nowhere (He was fired from DePaul University) just for starters. I have heard all of them speak and with the exception of Goldberg, and have interacted with all of them at various campus events, usually through q and a. LeVine erupted at me in front of this own students once when I referred to him as an "anti-Israel activist". He told me I would "have a big problem" if I ever called him that again and called it "slanderous". Yet that is precisely what he is, which is obvious. On another occasion, I told Butler that in 2001, a character named Mohamed al-Asi had appeared at UCI and told his audience that, "You can take the Jew out of the ghetto, but you can't take the ghetto out of the Jew", to which she replied that her own mother used to tell her that. Later, I wrote to her and sent her the videotape adding that al Asi had immediately preceded that statement by saying that, "We have  a psychosis in the Jewish community that is unable to co-exist equally and brotherly  with other human beings". She never replied. (I doubt her mother ever told her that.)

Then there is Jeff Halper. This curious fellow is an anthropology professor, born in the US, but who immigrated to Israel. Hardly grateful to his adopted country, he travels the international lecture circuit trashing the Jewish state. When he appeared at UC Irvine, he told us that the Israelis had invented something called, "spectral dust", a substance that when programmed with a target's DNA, would seek out and find the target killing him. "Imagine if the Israelis gave that to US agencies," Halper told his shocked audience. I told him to his face during q and a that it sounded like a crackpot theory.

I also need to mention the Neturei Karta fringe element of Judaism. One of their leaders, the New York-based Rabbi Ysroel Dovid Cohen, travels the world (including Iran) speaking out against Israel. Neturei Karta is opposed to  the Jewish state of Israel on theological grounds that the time has not yet arrived for the creation of a Jewish state. So they line up with those who want to destroy the Jewish state, a bizarre way of thinking. (Cohen is a  personal friend of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.)

But why do people like these line up against Israel, advocating for the very people (Palestinians) who want to destroy the Jewish state by any means necessary?  Given that the Palestinians do have valid (but not exclusive)  claims on the Holy Land, is it a simple dedication to justice? They, of course, claim that it is. I am not so sure.

Perhaps the biggest reason is that it is part and parcel of the alliance between the Palestinian cause and the left. Indeed, the left has embraced the anti-Western ideology of post colonialism, and Israel though hardly in the West geographically, is considered part of that. Even though Israelis are themselves multi-ethnic, the mentality follows the idea that Israelis are part of the white vs brown concept. It is my opinion that many American Jews, historically liberal, have latched  onto the Palestinian cause as part of their rebelliousness against "the establishment".

Let me be clear as one who fights against anti-semitism actively: I am not suggesting or implying that American Jews in general or in any large numbers are anti-West, anti-American, or anti- Israel. While I don't use the term, "self-hating Jews", preferring to leave that to Jews themselves to argue about, I have often referred to some Jewish anti-Israel activists as "misfits". Having seen and heard many of them in action, I will stand by that description. If the day ever arrives, God forbid, that a second Holocaust happens in the Holy Land, some American Jews will not only look foolish but will have blood on their hands for supporting the murderous Palestinians.

Austria: The Sound of Sharia

The Austrians are shocked. They never anticipated this happening. But it did. An 18-year-old Afghan immigrant walked into police headquarters and calmly told them he had stabbed his 14-year-old sister to death in an "honor killing."

No, it is you who stained your family's honor. Now they have a murder in the family (but they probably don't care about that.)

“The attack was not foreseeable for us, und (sic) came completely unexpected.”

Austria as a whole should have foreseen incidents like this happening when they agreed to admit all these people who follow sharia law. No they have to get used to it. Young immigrant girls from Muslim countries face death in Austria if they attempt to assimmilate.

Hopefully, they will investigate the involvement of the rest of the family in this death.

An Ugly American in Denmark

Well, the Ugly American was most recently spotted in Aarhus, where an American woman took issue with someone wearing a Trump MAGA cap. What happened next was caught on videotape.

An Interview with the Father of Two of the Rimini Rapists

The Italian resort town of Rimini is still reeling over the brutal gang rapes of two people by four teenagers, one Nigerian, one Congolese, and two Italian-born Moroccan brothers.

Things have only been made worse with an interview by a reporter from the Italian  news outlet, Matrix, with the father of the two Moroccans in which he stated that his sons would be free in a couple of years and rebuilding their lives. It also turns out that the man, only identified as Mohammed, has lived in Italy for 30 years, but has been arrested for theft and illegal entry into the country after being deported. He and his wife have been allowed to remain to care for their four sons, all born in Italy.

Berkeley Braces for Hurricane Free Speech

Conservative pundit Ben Shapiro was able to complete his speech at the University of California  last week thanks to the campus and Berkeley police shedding their potted plant costumes and ensuring that free speech was actually possible. Now comes the big storm. September 24-27 has been declared Free Speech Week as conservative speakers will be attempting to exercise their constitutional rights. Not surprisingly, the far-left is trying to shut it down-violently if necessary, while the university tries to shut it down with red tape and security fees.

Acting in the spirit of education, over 132 Berkeley professors signed a letter asking students to stay off campus during the above days and skip classes. Neat. I suggest students leave campus permanently since they are not getting an education anyway. They can be just as well indoctrinated sitting at home on their computers.

Judging from the announcement (linked above), it's pretty much an all star cast. One of the lesser-known speakers is a young lady to watch. Ariana Rowlands is a former president of the UC Irvine campus Republicans, a real burr under the saddle of UCI administrators. Here is what she says on Facebook about how college administrators are attempting to keep conservative speakers off campuses.

"The newest college administration trick to stop a conservative speaker from speaking at their campus is to pretend like they're going to be cooperative with the event and make empty promises to bring the student group's guard down. Then, just when event details need to be finalized, the administration completely flips the script by digging up arbitrary reasons as to why the previously agreed to contractual requirements cannot be fulfilled and gives new, completely unacceptable requirements that must be met by a fast-approaching deadline or else they say they'll be forced to cancel the event. Colleges across California are attempting this. Sad! They will lose!"

Ariana should know. She went through this with the UC Irvine administrators when she was bringing Milo Yiannapoulos to UCI. They attempted to suspend the College Republicans for a year over some security misunderstanding. They were forced to back down when a national furor arose. In the end, the College Republicans made the UCI administration look like a bunch of boobs.

For those who care about free speech, the eyes of the nation will be on Berkeley September 24-27. No doubt the forces of Antifa, Black Lives Matter, and a few Palestinian flags will show up and make their voices heard. If the cops elect to show a low profile (their preference) and once again assume the position of potted plants, there will be violence. It will not come from the organizers and supporters of the events.

How ironic that conservatives have to put up big security fees when it is the other side that poses the threat of violence. It reminds me of the old Mafia protection racket where store owners had to pay Vinnie and Sluggo money every month to be "protected"-from them.

Why I Didn't Watch the Emmys Last Night

I didn't even know the Emmys were on until I walked downstairs and my wife was watching it. I hastily returned upstairs to a good book. I could have predicted that the entire show would consist of self absorbed actors trashing President Trump. Here is what I missed.

I missed ham actor Alec Baldwin telling me that when I die, my last thoughts will be devoted to thinking of his starring role in..........something or other.

I missed that great American patriot Jane Fonda making a cameo role and, naturally, trashing Trump. At least Trump never went to North Vietnam to schmooze with the enemy.

I missed Stephen Colbert, who if he weren't ragging on Trump and other Republicans, would have no material. He would have to turn to soap operas.

I missed Danny Glover, a most unhappy man since his hero, Hugo Chavez, died. He should go back to Venezuela and hand out food parcels to starving Venezuelans.

I also missed some guy named Riz Ahmed whining about injustices in our criminal justice system and Islamophobia, while saying nothing about crime or Islamic terrorism or Islamic persecution of religious minorities.

What  I did not miss was a good book.

2nd Arrest in London Subway Attack

British police have arrested a second suspect in the London subway attack. We don't have the  names yet, except that one is identified as a "foster child". ISIS has claimed credit, and the Brits are calling it a terrorist attack that likely involved multiple persons.

It's Jihad.

Look at the facts. Crime and terror attacks are happening all over Western Europe. The countries that are relatively safe are the Eastern European counties. Reason? They are not allowing Muslims into their countries for any reason, political asylum, refugee, migrant-whatever.

Is there a lesson here?
