Iraqi Asylum-Seeker in Sweden Goes to Prison for Multiple Assaults Against Women

Hat tip Fria Tider

Here is the latest horror story out of Sweden. An Iraqi asylum seeker convicted of assaulting three older women in the same day. He is getting 8-1/2 years in prison and deportation. I guess they are getting a little bit tougher in Sweden.

I have translated the article from the Swedish in Fria Tider.

http://www.friatider.se/str-p-70-ring-tills-hon-svimmade-hon-r-rasist

Strangled 70-year-old until passed out: "She is a racist"

Iraqi asylum seeker living in the asylum accommodation Dala Horse Camping and Cabins. He was identified in connection with his selfies (top right in picture) compared with a pair of bloody aviator glasses found at one of the crime scenes.

DOMESTIC. A 39-year-old Arab asylum seeker brutally attacked several women outdoors in Avesta - one of which was left bloody and unconscious to die in a ditch. Now he is sentenced to eight and a half years in prison for attempted murder, among other things.
- "She is a racist," said the asylum seeker in the interrogation about another woman he choked until she was unconscious.

It was September 7 last year that the man attacked several women in Avesta in southern Dalarna.

One of the victims, who is in her 50s, was on her way home from the pharmacy along a bicycle and walking trail when the asylum seeker attacked and brutally beat her by force to the head. The Arab then dragged the bloodied unconscious woman into a ditch and stole her earrings and cash. There, she was found during the wee hours of the night, next to a pine tree that was smeared with blood, and was then, according to the (medical) judgment, in a medical life-threatening condition with a traumatic brain injury.

Another woman, who is in her 70s, had, the same day, cycled to the recycling station with newspapers and advertisements when the asylum seeker jumped her at a dumpster and pushed her. When she tried to ride away, he ran after her and pushed her down on the ground. In connection with the fall, she struck the arm of a concrete foundation, with the result that the arm was unusable. After that, the  Arab took her  around her arm and pulled her around four meters towards the forest. As she lay flat, he stood crouching behind her and took a grip around her neck and pressed until her eyes went black  and she fell unconscious.

The Asylum Seeker denied  both assaults in interviews but said he knew the older woman. He explained that she was "racist" and that he "hated" her.

A third woman was attacked by the 39-year-old at the recycling station the same afternoon. He contented himself by pawing at her chest and buttocks.

A pair of bloody aviator glasses which were found by the first woman in the ditch were compared by police with selfies the  39-year-old had in his cell phone. And after a search of the asylum seeker's home more evidence against him was found.

The man, who came to Sweden from Iraq during the asylum turmoil in autumn 2015, has been living bin asylum accommodation at Dala Horse Camping and Cabins in Avesta.

He was sentenced yesterday by Falu District Court for attempted murder, aggravated assault, assault, theft and abuse in court (because in  the hearings, he threatened to kill the older woman he strangled).

The punishment was imprisonment of eight years and six months and expulsion for life.

Geology Professor Choosing Students Based on Race

Hat tip Campus Reform

"I feel an earthquake."

This must be an example of that environmental justice  they talk about on college campuses. A geology professor at Pomona College is limiting her students to those of certain races. I guess white students will not be able to take her class on earthquakes and water.

http://www.campusreform.org/?ID=9107

Recently, I attended a panel discussion at UC Irvine. One of the panelists, a lady from the NAACP, told us that environmental issues impact disadvantaged minorities and communities of color disproportionately, for example, African-Americans living near coal smelting plants.

Maybe this teacher thinks minorities are disproportionately affected by earthquakes. Could that be?

Or is this the reason?

"Dr. Linda Reinen, who will teach the earthquakes course this fall, plans to use her approval authority to prefer students from marginalized backgrounds, such as non-whites and low-income students, whom she believes will derive “particular benefit” from a smaller and less competitive course."
Linda A. Reinen
Apparently, Dr Reinen thinks that non-whites should be in less competitive courses. I didn't say it; she did. Personally, I think that is condescending to say the least. But that's the liberal left. They think certain people must be coddled and helped along because they cannot succeed on their own.

An Open Letter to UC Irvine in Regards to the Standing Rock is Everywhere Event

In connection with my previous post regarding the Standing Rock is Everywhere event at UC Irvine on April 18, I have sent the below letter to the university and elected leaders expressing my concern.

April 26, 2017

Dear Dr Parham et al

My name is Gary Fouse, and I am a former part-time teacher in the UC Irvine Extension (1998-2016). Last week, I attended an event sponsored by the Office of Student Affairs “New Narratives” program and the Cross Cultural Center. It was entitled “Standing Rock Is Everywhere” and consisted of several panelists, who spoke not only about the Standing Rock pipeline issue but many other issues as well. Frankly, I was appalled at the negative perspectives given to UCI students by these speakers as it pertains to our country and our society (as well as Canada). Given the fact that the event was sponsored by the university, I wonder whether UCI was putting its official imprimatur on the views expressed.

I fully understand the dark chapters in our nation’s history and am old enough to remember some of them. I also understand the first amendment right of those speakers to express their opinions. But I do not share the negative opinions expressed toward our country as it is today or some of our leaders who were mentioned. For example, I do not believe Attorney General Jeff Sessions is a racist as was implied by one of the speakers.

I also found it offensive that a panelist (Janaya Khan) who has just moved to the US from Canada would open her remarks by saying that “she had picked the wrong time to move south of the border” then go on to trash this country. I also found the expression she used, “Christian patriarchy” equally offensive. I could go on, but you can read my reactions in full at the below link.

My real purpose in writing, however, is to inquire whether the “New Narratives” program has in the past or is willing in the future to sponsor a speaker or speakers with a more positive perspective on America as well as provide opposing viewpoints on the North Dakota pipeline and other issues brought up by your panel covered in the above event. I should add that I posed this question to Dr Abby Reyes before I left the event. While I don’t feel I got a particularly clear answer, she informed me that New Narratives was set up after the unfortunate “black face” incident on campus a couple of years back and was designed to give a voice to “marginalized students”. She also told me that suggested speakers are considered by a New Narratives panel and referred me to the vice chancellor’s office for further information.

Therefore, in the interest of providing UCI students and the community with other perspectives on these issues, I would like to respectfully propose a couple of speakers for your consideration (specifically for the New Narratives). First of all, I would like to propose Los Angeles-based talk show host Larry Elder, an African-American conservative. Secondly, I would like to propose Dr Thomas Sowell, who I believe recently retired from the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. He is also a well-known African-American conservative. I can think of several other worthy speakers, but I will leave it with these two at this time.

In my view, university students deserve to be exposed to all sides of issues not just some. I don’t deny the rights of the above speakers to have their say, but I seriously question whether universities today are committed to giving a fair hearing to other voices.  I eagerly await your response to my suggestions.

Sincerely,

Gary Fouse

Swedish Justice (Update)

Two Afghan migrants who gang raped a girl and posted it live on Facebook have been sentenced to two years in prison. A third man who did the filming got 6 months in jail.

There will be no deportations after the sentences are served.

Apparently, Rasmieh Odeh didn't have her bullhorn with her when she appeared in court and officially told the judge she was pleading guilty to making false statements on her immigration papers. As it was, she had difficulty getting the words out of her mouth. But it's official.

Thank God we will soon  see the last of this despicable woman.

Why Is the Media Ignoring the FGM Story?

This article first appeared in New English Review.

Almost two weeks ago, we learned that a Muslim doctor from India has been federally charged for performing female genital mutilation on little girls as young as 7. In addition, another doctor has been charged for allowing his clinic to be used for the operations, and his wife has been charged for assisting in the procedures. Yet, for the most part, our mainstream news media has been silent on the story.

In addition, we learn that the once respected New York Times has made the editorial decision not to use the very term, female genital mutilation, because it is too culturally charged and implies a gulf between societies that condemn the practice and those that perform it.

We already knew that in Europe, these procedures were being carried out behind closed doors in certain immigrant communities and that other girls from these communities were being sent to their families' countries of origin for the procedure. We already knew that hundreds of thousands of immigrant girls in the US were at risk of this happening to them. But now, finally, we have a Justice Department willing to prosecute this crime which is on the federal books (and those of 24 states as well). And this is the same Justice Department under Attorney General Jeff Sessions that liberals claim will be running roughshod over civil rights!

But where is the news media?

The answer is fairly simple. The reason they don't want to run with this sordid story is because FMG is a practice largely  carried out by many Muslim families. To be fair, not all Muslim families believe in this procedure, and other (non-Muslim) cultures practice it as well in parts of Africa, Asia and the Middle East. For the mainstream media, however, to write about this story is perceived as piling on immigrants and particularly Muslims. According to this study by the Population Reference Bureau, the rate of FMG in Somalia is 98%! This is the country that has "contributed" millions of refugees to Europe and the US and is the country of family origin of the two known victims in the Michigan story above. Somali apostate from Islam  and human rights activist, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, is herself a victim of this practice.

But what a disservice being done to the little girls in America who one way or another, are being subjected to this barbaric practice, which has no place in our society. This means that FMG remains in the shadows. Many Americans have never even heard of the practice. How can you speak out and demand your political leaders take action when you don't even know about it? Thus, thousands, perhaps, hundreds of thousands of young girls in this country could be subjected to FMG because the media and lawmakers allow it to live in the shadows. Thus, certain girls in our country are denied the basic human rights and legal protections that our daughters enjoy. It is estimated that more than half a million girls in our country are at risk of undergoing this procedure.

When was it no longer a principle that immigrants accept American laws and values as the price of settling in this country? When was it no longer one of our beliefs that barbaric practices that existed in the "old country" were not acceptable here?

The defendants in the Michigan case are presumed  innocent until convicted, but if convicted, it is hoped that our justice system will send a strong message that this practice will not be tolerated. Not in our country. Not ever.

(Hopefully, the media will cover the trial.)

Update on the April 15 Berkeley Assaults

Several days ago, I reported that according to various blog sources, a California university professor was believed to be the person caught on video assaulting several pro-free speech demonstrators over the head with a  metal bike lock in Berkeley on April 15. Since no arrest has been made, I decided at that time to withhold further details including the name of the suspect.

http://garyfouse.blogspot.com/2017/04/was-california-professor-involved-in.html

Two California colleges have been identified as being employers of this professor both past and present. Both of their school newspapers have reported on the story. One of the schools has since removed the professor's name since no charges have been filed to this date.

At this point, I continue to withhold the name of the suspect and the above two schools as well in the interest of caution. I continue to monitor the case and will update when and if charges are filed.

A Letter to the San Diego School Board re: CAIR

When it comes to chutzpah, nobody can hold a candle to CAIR. While pro-Palestinian Muslim students in various Muslim Student Association chapters and their pals in Students for Justice in Palestine bully and intimidate Jewish students on college campuses across the nation, CAIR pushes the line that Muslim secondary kids are being bullied. Now they have teamed up with the San Diego Unified School District in a program designed to stop bullying of Muslim kids in school.

Let me be clear: Bullying is wrong no matter who does it and no matter who is the victim. CAIR, however, is the wrong messenger. When did they ever stand up for Jewish students being bullied in colleges by Muslim students over the issue of Israel? Never. They support the actions of the pro-Palestinian Brown Shirts on college campuses.

My friend and colleague, David S Whitley, has written a letter to the SDUSD in regards to their partnership with CAIR. He provides details about this insidious organization that the school board hacks obviously don't know. I am posting it below.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Greetings SDUSD Board,

I am writing to you today to simply ask you to rescind your partnership with CAIR (Council for American Islamic Relations) a radical, pro-Hamas, pro-Muslim Brotherhood organization.

Stop bullying = Yes!  Promote Islam = No!

Programs to educate students on the evils of bullying are admirable, but must not be done to benefit one group over another as you have done through this partnership.  Nor should a program such as anti-bullying have the perception of defending one group over another.  Your mistake here is not your good intentions but your willingness to partnership with a group known to be linked to terror funding as discovered during the Holy Land Foundation funding trial.  This is beyond the pale.  This is shameful.  It must be reversed!  Your eyes are now open.

CAIR has been declared a terrorist organization by the United Arab Emirates and has had many of their top officials including those who founded the group -- investigated, prosecuted, convicted and deported for terror related crimes.  (List below for your edification)

America today is faced with many troubling issues that stem from Islamic teaching, culture and history, such as FGM (Female Genital Mutilation), Honor Killings (Surah 18:74 and 18:80) and Child Marriage (prepubescent brides) (Surah 4:34 and Surah 65:4).

Elected bodies across the country are faced with opposition from many in the Muslim community and groups like CAIR to stop these barbaric practices through local, state and federal legislation, and opposing legislation to make illegal the payout of Life Insurance policies to the families of terrorists who commit suicide or otherwise are killed during a terror related crime.

Why and how could anyone oppose the ending of these barbaric acts of evil and theft?

Teaming with CAIR was a terrible mistake and an offensive partnership that must be corrected by ending it and moving forward with the singular purpose of protecting all students from bullying and discrimination, period  You have allowed yourselves, in effect, to become an agent of CAIR, promoting Islamic education over other religious faiths, and at the same time wrongly stigmatizing students, parents and teachers who oppose promoting Islam in publicly funded schools as "Islamophobic."  You have created some of the very divisions you set out to stop -- by taking one side at the expense of the others.  Singling out Muslims for protection while leaving out students who are Christian, Jewish, Hindu or Buddhist is in fact discrimination.  To promote the learning of Islamic scripture, culture or history without doing the same for the other major world religions is also discriminatory and a violation of the First Amendment's non-discrimination clause.

If the school board will not listen to sound reasoned factual advice (please at least look into it), it will be time for a new school board come election time!

The Criminals of CAIR:

    •    Ghassan Elashi: One of CAIR’s founding directors, convicted in 2004 of illegally shipping high-tech goods to terror state Syria. Elashi is related to Hamas leader Mousa Abu Marzook.

    •    Muthanna al-Hanooti: The CAIR director’s home was raided in 2006 by FBI agents in connection with an active terrorism investigation. In 2004, his LIFE's Baghdad office was raided by U.S. troops, who seized computers/data. Al-Hanooti is related to Sheik Mohammed al-Hanooti, an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. “Al-Hanooti collected over $6 million for support of Hamas,” according to a 2001 FBI report.

    •    Abdurahman Alamoudi:  a CAIR director is serving 23 years in federal prison for plotting terrorism. Alamoudi, was a top fundraisers in America for al-Qaida, according to the U.S. Treasury Department.  In December 1996 Alamoudi told an AMC (American Muslim Council) meeting that America will become a Muslim country.  In 2000 at a CAIR sponsored rally in Washington DC, Alamoudi called for support of Hamas and Hizballah to the wild cheers of the attendees, to which he said "Allahu Akbar."  In 2004 Alamoudi was arrested on terror charges.

Alamoudi was a real snake, deceiving many for many years and having reached the heights of political shoulder rubbing that reached all the way to the White House --  with pictures with Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.  Alamoudi was a big time anti-American criminal whose deception was epic, he took pictures by day with ignorant and naive American politicians and by night funded terrorism to destroy the very liberties that these elected representatives were put into office to protect.

    •    Siraj Wahhaj: A member of CAIR’s board of advisers, Wahhaj was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. The radical Brooklyn imam was friend's with convicted terrorist Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman and defended him during his trial. Wahhaj was a key speaker at CAIR’s 15th annual fund-raising banquet in Arlington, Virginia, in 2009.

    •    Randall “Ismail” Royer: The former CAIR communications specialist and civil-rights coordinator is serving 20 years in prison in connection with the Virginia Jihad Network. Al-Qaida operative Ahmed Abu Ali, convicted of plotting to assassinate President George W. Bush, was among those who trained with Royer’s Northern Virginia cell.

    •    Bassam Khafagi: A CAIR official, Khafagi was arrested in 2003 while serving as CAIR’s director of community affairs. He pleaded guilty to charges of bank fraud stemming from a federal counter-terror probe. He served 10 months in prison and was deported to his native Egypt.

    •    Laura Jaghlit: A civil-rights coordinator for CAIR, her Washington-area home was raided by federal agents after 9/11 as part of an investigation into terrorist financing, money laundering and tax fraud. Her husband Mohammed Jaghlit, a key leader in the Saudi-backed SAAR network, is a target of the still-active probe. Jaghlit was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation case.

    •    Nihad Awad: Evidence from the Holy Land case puts CAIR’s executive director at the Philadelphia meeting of Hamas leaders and activists in 1993 that was secretly recorded by the FBI. Participants hatched a plot to disguise payments to Hamas terrorists as charitable giving. Awad’s phone number is listed in a Muslim Brotherhood document seized by federal investigators revealing “important phone numbers” for the “Palestine Section” of the Brotherhood in America. The court exhibit showed Hamas fugitive Mousa Abu Marzook listed on the same page with Awad.

    •    Omar Ahmad: U.S. prosecutors named CAIR’s founder and chairman emeritus as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land case.  Prosecutors designated him as a member of the Muslim Brotherhood’s “Palestine Committee” in America. Ahmad, like his CAIR partner Awad, is ethnic-Palestinian.  CAIR began as the Islamic Association of Palestine or (IAP).

    •    Nabil Sadoun: A CAIR board member, Sadoun co-founded UASR with Hamas leader Marzook. The Justice Department added UASR to the list of unindicted co-conspirators in the Holy Land case. In 2010, Sadoun was ordered deported to his native Jordan.

    •    Mohamed Nimer: CAIR’s research director also served as a board director for UASR, the strategic arm for Hamas in the U.S.A.

    •    Rafeeq Jaber: A founding director of CAIR, Jaber was the long-time president of the Islamic Association for Palestine. In 2002, a federal judge found that “the Islamic Association for Palestine has acted in support of Hamas.”

    •    Rabith Hadid: The CAIR fundraiser was a founder of the Global Relief Foundation, which after 9/11 was blacklisted by the Treasury Department for financing al-Qaida and other terror groups. Hadid was arrested on terror-related charges and deported to Lebanon in 2003.

    •    Hamza Yusuf: The FBI investigated the CAIR board member after 9/11, because he made an ominous prediction to a Muslim audience two days before the attacks. “This country is facing a terrible fate, this country [America] stands condemned.”

CAIR’s founder, Omar Ahmad, while claiming to be a moderate and patriotic American, was reported telling a Muslim gathering in Northern California in 1998 that they [Muslims] are in America not to assimilate, but to help assert Islam’s rule over the country.  His quote:
“Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant,” the local reporter paraphrased him as saying. “The Quran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.”

Ahmad later insisted he was misquoted. However, the reporter stands by her story.

Additionally the 1993 FBI wiretap of a secret Philadelphia meeting quotes Ahmad agreeing with known terror suspects to “camouflage” their true intentions.  Ahmad compared the “camouflage” (i.e. deception) to a head fake in basketball.  “This is like one who plays basketball: He makes a player believe that he is doing this, while he does something else,” Ahmad said. “I agree with you. Like they say, politics is a completion of war.”

Unnerving quotes from Islamic leaders:

Ibraham Hooper, CAIR’s communications director, also has expressed a desire to overturn the U.S. system of government in favor of an Islamic state. “I wouldn’t want to create the impression that I wouldn’t like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future,” Hooper said in a 1992 interview with the Minneapolis Star Tribune. “But I’m not going to do anything violent to promote that. I’m going to do it through education.”

“I am waging a “bloodless” revolution, promoting world cultures and faiths in Americaʼs classrooms.” – Shabbir Mansuri, Founder and Director of the Council on Islamic Education

“If we are practicing Muslims, we are above the law of the land.” Mustafa Carroll, CAIR executive director of the Dallas-Fort Worth. (2013)

“We don’t want to democratize Islam, we want to Islamize democracy!” – Imam Abdul Malik of Brooklyn, NY. (2009)

So what is an average American to do when his viewpoint is not being heard or heeded?  What they did was elect Donald Trump whom they believe will put their security interests and their national interests first and who will tell the truth about the world's greatest threat, Islamic terrorism.  Islamophobia is a snare, a made up word to silence debate.  Those that use negatively charged words (that bring with them instant Character Assassination) are weapons to end debate and raise the flag of victory -- they are not about seeking truth or understanding.  Americans no longer trust those that say, the problem is "Islamophobia," bigotry or intolerance, and try to marginalize those who wish to protect their nation and their people and their culture by simply telling the truth.

If I can be of help in any way beyond the information already provided please don't hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,

David S Whitley

Yale Follies

Yale University, reputedly one of the top schools in the nation, is quite active this week. These two events remind me of some sort of fraternity hi-jinks. First of all, the university is awarding something called the Gandhi Peace Award  to none other than Omar Barghouti, fake Palestinian who gives speeches around the world pushing his failing boycott, divest and sanctions movement against Israel. Barghouti had to get permission to travel to the US because he is charged for income tax evasion. Also getting a peace award? Ralph Nader.

http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/228431

Even more amusing is a conference of mental health professionals dedicated to the proposition that President Trump is mentally ill and must be removed from office. Usual nonsense.

http://wshu.org/post/mental-health-professionals-meet-yale-analyze-president-trump

This has nothing to do with the skull and bones society.

New York Times Censors FGM

It hasn't taken the New York Times long to react to the news of the arrests of two doctors and a third person in Michigan who are charged with performing FEMALE GENITAL MUTILATION on little girls as young as 7. The Times, true to its motto, "All the news that's fit to print", has censor the term FEMALE GENITAL MUTILATION.

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2017/04/24/new-york-times-scraps-female-genital-mutilation-for-being-culturally-loaded-term.html

A "gulf"? Yes, there is also a gulf between civilized people and those who behead other people. Maybe the Times should come up with a new term that is less "culturally loaded". I suggest, "The victim lost his head."

French Left Riots After Elections

"This is a bunch of scumbags."

Once the results of the French elections were in, the leftists did what they always do: They rioted.
The boys and girls of Antifa, Frantifa, or whatever they call themselves took to the barricades for libertéégalitéfraternité, and open borders.

Back in Amerique, our international expert in Congress, Maxine Waters (D- CA), was quick to condemn the rioters.

Rachel Maddow's Latest Embarrassment

Hat tip Eagle Rising

Recently, feminists were all in a tither when MSNBC rushed Brian Williams onto Rachel Maddow's time slot to cover the US missile strike on Syria.

I am no defender of Williams, who I consider another dishonest liberal reporter. Yet, when it comes to covering breaking news when you don't have a script in front of you to read, Williams is experienced and knows how to do that.

On her best days, Maddow is a rambling woman who makes little sense to anyone. She proved it once again a few days ago when she went off on a rant about how mad the people of Venezuela are about their government oil company contributing to Donald Trump and his inauguration.

http://eaglerising.com/43053/rachel-maddow-finds-a-way-to-blame-riots-in-venezuela-on/

Horse feathers. The Venezuelans are hungry and angry at their dictatorial government for a plethora of reasons. Anything connected to Trump is so far down the list as to be insignificant. The crimes of the current government of Venezuela long predate Donald Trump becoming president.

Maddow and her employers at MSNBC is desperate to throw anything they can at Trump. It's called shoddy journalism. This is a good example of why MSNBC called in a professional-a flawed one at that- to take over  during a breaking news story. Maddow would have been out of her league and would have embarrassed herself.

If that possible with MSNBC's audience..
