Charlie Hebdo Marks One Year Anniversary of the Massacre

On January 7, the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo will mark the one year anniversary of the attack on their office which killed 12 people. They are running the below cartoon which features God with a Kalashnikov.
The title reads:
One year after-The assassin is still out there.
The magazine will be on the news stands in France Wednesday. Let's hope they sell as many copies as possible.

During WW II, there was a (US born) British traitor named William Joyce aka Lord Haw Haw. I call him a traitor because during the war, he was camped out in Germany making propaganda radio broadcasts for the Nazis. Captured after the war, he was tried and executed by the Brits for treason.
But that was then. Today, Britain is a much different nation. It is a nation governed by gullible boobs like David Cameron. It is a nation where Islamic militants are taking over the country. It is a place where nuts like George Galloway can run for mayor of London.
Now, with hundreds of British Muslims running off to join ISIS, the government is calling on the doctors among them to return-and work for the National Health Service.

Hillary Clinton on Sexual Assault
Which women deserve to be believed?

Hillary Clinton cemented her claim to 2015's Golden Penguin award as Fousesquawk's Jerk of the Year when she recently said that victims of sexual assault deserved to be believed and supported. True enough for true victims, but does that also pertain to Kathleen Willey, Paula Jones and Juanita Broaderick, who all claimed to have been victims of Bill Clinton's unwanted sexual advances?

As to Hillary's response to a pointed question about women whose charges turned out to be true, I would throw in the names of Monica Lewinsky and Jennifer Flowers. Both Bill and Hillary Clinton denied the statements of those women (regarding consensual affairs) until they were proven true. In Clinton's own interview while First Lady of Arkansas, she admitted she believed the claims of a rape victim in a case in which she defended the perpetrator.
Mrs Clinton should avoid the topic of victimized women altogether lest she be reminded of who she is married to.

Happy New Year in France

There is good news coming out of France. Only 804 cars were torched over New Years Eve in France, a 14.5% reduction from the previous New Years Eve total of 940.

According to this report, some English-language media outlets tried to report this January 1 incident in Valence, France as a case of some Islamophobe trying to ram a mosque being guarded by French soldiers. Turns out the attacker behind the wheel was a North African who was yelling, "Allahu Akhbar" as he tried to run through the soldiers. Gates of Vienna has a French TV news report along with a video of the shooting. You can also read the incomplete English-language reports.

Here is another rib tickler out of the mouth of some Muslim cleric in Iran who claims that he converted Hitler's grandson to Islam.

Problem is Hitler never had a grandson. That's because (for the benefit of all you UC Santa Cruz Community Studies and History of Consciousness majors) Hitler never had a son or a daughter. He did have a niece, Geli Raubal, who was the daughter of his half-sister Angela, and a nephew, William Patrick Hitler, who was the son of his half-brother, Alois.
I won't go into Hitler's family tree here because it gets quite complicated. However, I will mention that prior to coming to power, Hitler had a very mysterious relationship with Geli, who resided with him in Munich prior to committing suicide in his apartment in 1931. His nephew, William or Willy, resided at various times in England, Berlin, and eventually America, where he died. His sons still live in America under another family name. Perfectly understandable, wouldn't you say?

Hitler's only full sibling was his sister, Paula Hitler aka Wolff. She bore no children and died in Berchtesgaden in 1960, where she was buried.

Gary Nathaniel Moore, who is accused of setting fire to the mosque he attended in Houston, has appeared in court.

UCLA Suffers Another Incident of Anti-Semitism

As the University of California Regents spend months trying to come up with a statement of principles on intolerance that will specifically address the biggest problem they have-anti-Semitism, UCLA was hit with yet another example of Jew hatred. Adding a comment to a Facebook posting by a Zionist alumni, a current student unleashed a tirade of anti-Jewish (anti-Jewish, not just anti-Zionist) insults. The incident has hit the Daily Bruin and caused the vice chancellor of student affairs, Janina Montero to issue a statement.

It does seem to me, however, that the double standard is in play here. Remember the white knucklehead students at the University of Oklahoma who were singing n-word songs on a bus last March? Expelled. Remember the UC San Diego library noose incident in 2010? The student who came forward and admitted leaving the noose- with an innocent explanation was suspended.
Yet who was disciplined in 2008 when the UC Irvine Muslim Student Union displayed this poster on their mock apartheid wall during a week-long bash-Israel fest? Nobody.
Whether they care to admit it or not, the University of California knows perfectly well the anti-Semitic problem they have on our campuses. They also know who is responsible for it.
Which goes a long way to explaining why they don't do anything about it. It all depends on whose ox is being gored and who is doing the goring.

Friday afternoon, a Palestinian man walked into a Tel Aviv pub and opened fire with an assault rifle killing two and wounding seven.

Israeli police apparently know the identity of the killer, who is still at large. A Koran was found left behind by the killer. Yet, the clueless BBC is still wondering about the motive. (Maybe the killer was depressed because his soccer team lost.)
These are the same Palestinians who have so much support on US college campuses. You will not hear one word of condemnation for this terrorist act coming from Students for Justice in Palestine, Jewish Voice for Peace, or any Muslim Student Association chapter. Nor will you hear a peep from faculty groups like UCLA's Center for Near East Studies. To them, this is what they consider legitimate resistance.
