Austria: Attempted Honor Killing by Afghan Father

This past Monday in the Donaustadt quarter of Vienna, a 50-year-old Afghan man allegedly went on a rampage and attacked his 15-year-old daughter, first punching her and then stabbing her multiple times with a kitchen knife. The motive appears to be that the girl had a boyfriend, and this case seems to be another case of an attempted honor killing.

Fortunately, the victim is recovering. The Ministry of Interior has now advised that the man's Afghan citizenship has been verified and he will be subject to deportation once the justice system is through with him.

The article below from Heute is translated by Fousesquawk.

 Sudden turn in case

Caption: On Monday evening in Vienna-Donaustadt, a 50-year-old man attacked his 15-year-old daughter with punches and stabbed her several times with a kitchen knife.

A 50-year-old stabbed his own daughter with a knife, apparently because of a perceived offense against family honor! The brutal and bloody act in Donaustadt shocked the entire country, (but) meanwhile, there is good news. The 15-year-old girl underwent a successful emergency operation and is out of danger. Apparently, she was even able to be interviewed!

The young girl reportedly revealed shocking details to the investigators. Her father reportedly snapped and went after her with a kitchen knife because she had a boyfriend. The 50-year-old Afghan was arrested at the scene.  During his initial interview, he essentially confessed but refused to make any further statements.

Deportation possible

Deportation to his old homeland initially seemed not possible since his citizenship in the first days after the crime could not be positively clarified.

Things changed on Friday night. The Interior Ministry confirmed to Heute: "The suspect is an Afghan-a revocation proceeding with be immediately initiated".  A deportation could be carried out after the criminal proceedings, according to the regulations of our constitutional state.

Girl screams for help

The brutal knife attack occurred on Monday evening in Vienna-Donaustadt. Passersby heard the desperate screams and immediately called emergency services. A doctor living nearby provided first aid.

The schoolgirl suffered several life-threatening stab wounds in the area of her upper body and neck. Police seized a kitchen knife as the presumed weapon. The 15-year-old is now on the way to recovery.

The Latest Afghan Refugee Murder

How many times in the past few years have we posted and translated news reports coming out of Europe describing the latest attack, rape, or murder of European civilians at the hands of some Afghan refugee or gang of Afghan refugees? Or Syrians, Moroccans, Chechens, or some other nationality from a Muslim-majority nation?

I write this on the heels of yet another senseless killing by an Afghan refugee, but this time in our own country, in Washington DC, where two National Guard soldiers were ambushed and gunned down by Rahmanullah Lakanwal. Specialist Sarah Beckstrom (20) has now died of her injuries, while Air Force Staff Sergeant Andrew Wolfe (24) remains in critical condition.

Officially, the motive is still to be determined, at least according to most accounts in the mainstream press. Reportedly, the suspect yelled, “Allahu akhbar” during his attack. That pretty much explains it.

The suspect was reportedly admitted to the US after the withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan during the Biden administration. It is reported that Lakanwal had worked with US forces during the war. In the interest of full disclosure, I had previously written that we should evacuate those who worked on our side.

It’s hard to scrap that sentiment because of the actions of one man, but would it not have been better to find a country of refuge for these people that would at least have more in common with Afghan values- and religion? Granted, language issues would still be a problem since Afghans are not Arabic speakers, but I will always question why these oil rich nations, who import many if not most of their manual labor from around the world, refuse to take in all these refugees even when they come from Arab lands. It is always left to the West to take in millions of Muslim refugees, both real and faked. The result has been the loss of innocent lives and social strife.

I hope that President Trump follows through on his statement that this refugee policy is going to be changed though I think his reference to third world countries in general was a mistake.

The bottom line is that Islamic migration to the West is a mistake and must be reversed for a variety of reasons. The most important reason is that people are dying, and we should not have to pay for our generosity with the blood of our own innocent citizenry.

Enough.

The Trump-Mamdani Love Fest

This article first appeared in New English Review.

Like most people, I was very anxious to see what would happen yesterday at the White House meeting between President Trump and New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani. Would it turn into an ugly scene as had happened between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, when they argued in full view of the press and cameras? In his victory speech last week in New York, Mamdani was in full-blown attack mode, referring to Trump as a fascist, as well as implying that the feds (ICE) would have to get through “all of us to get to some of us”. Trump, for his part, had called Mamdani a communist.

So, while their actual meeting went on behind closed doors, their joint press conference afterward was all hugs and smiles. Both stressed their desire to work together to make New York a better place, especially in the area of affordability.   After making their statements, it was opened up for reporters’ questions. Both swatted away hard questions about their past rhetoric about each other and tried to keep the discussion on a positive and hopeful  note. On one occasion, a reporter asked two questions, one to Trump and the other to Mamdani, asking for his reaction to the recent ugly pro-Palestinian demonstration in front of a synagogue in New York. I was eager to hear Mamdani’s response, but after Trump answered the unrelated question directed to him, he called on the next reporter, effectively leaving the mayor-elect off the hook.

I must grudgingly give Mamdani credit for the way he handled himself. In spite of his young age, he was polished and knew how to swerve around uncomfortable issues like his harsh words about Trump. He is clearly a very intelligent individual, even if his ideas for New York are not only outrageous but will prove to be unworkable (i.e, assigning non-police personnel to respond to mental health disturbances without police presence and creating government-run grocery stores). The question I have is just how much Trump and Mamdani can find common ground for cooperation in making things better in New York, not only in terms of affordability, but in terms of reducing crime and making New York safer. And of course, there is that big question of what happens when ICE rounds up illegal aliens in the city. Trump’s position is that while the NYPD does not have the responsibility to enforce federal immigration laws, it is expected and demanded that the city will not interfere with federal agents enforcing federal law. Trump clearly has the law on his side here since any conflict between federal law and the practices of New York or any other city, federal law rules. In addition, NYPD still has the responsibility of maintaining order on the streets, and that includes responding when federal agents are being attacked-as happened recently in Chicago, with the Chicago PD late in coming to their aid.  Mamdani, for his part, considers New York a sanctuary city and opposes ICE’s efforts, as do many other Democrat mayors. (Mamdani is a Democratic Socialist).

Trump feels he can make deals with anyone, friend or foe. That apparently includes Mamdani. Personally, I am skeptical in this case. Whatever you want to call Mamdani, a radical, an extremist, a socialist, a communist, an anti-Semite, he is also a committed ideologue. As a Muslim, he fully supports the Palestinian cause. He is a supporter of the Boycott, Divest, and Sanctions movement against Israel (BDF), and embraces “from the river to the sea……”, which calls for the total destruction of the Jewish state. He has also refused to condemn Hamas. Being the smooth talker that he is, he will deny charges of anti-Semitism. He said at the end of the press conference that he wanted to make New York safer for all citizens and condemned all hate including anti-Semitism. In the closing days of his campaign, he met with a group of Jewish leaders. Many in the Jewish community questioned the wisdom of their leaders meeting with Mamdani.

The issue of Mamdani’s faith was not raised by reporters, and I would prefer not to raise it here, but I must. If, after this meeting, some are wondering about whether Mamdani will continue to cater to his base, that base includes some questionable characters in the New York Muslim community. Chief among them is New York imam Siraj Wahhaj, an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 plot to blow up New York. He testified in defense of the trial of the ringleader of that group, the so-called “Blind Sheikh”, Omar Abdel Rahman. For his part, Wahhaj has referred to America as a filthy garbage can and has called for an Islamic takeover of our country. Mamdani met with him at his mosque during his campaign. In February 2011, Wahhaj spoke in Yorba Linda, California, with another fire-breathing imam from Oakland, Amir Abdel Malik Ali. I participated and spoke at a protest outside the venue of that event, which was organized by the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), which has long been accused of being an arm of the Muslim Brotherhood.

The point I am leading up to here is that Mamdani is an ideologue, not just when it comes to his socialist ideas, but also when it comes to Israel and the Jewish issue in New York City, home to the world’s largest Jewish community outside of Israel. The recent demonstration in front of a New York synagogue and physical attacks against Jews in recent years, which have escalated since October 7, 2023, clearly prove that Jews in New York are not safe, and that with Mamdani’s ascension to mayor, their situation will only become worse in my view.  What seems to be missing in the media discussion of this White House meeting is that in spite of Trump’s negotiating skills, he is dealing with an ideologue here. Mamdani denies it, but I believe he holds anti-Semitic views, and I believe that his Islamic faith is a big part of that. Ultimately, he will not betray his base. In my opinion, the honeymoon will be very brief.

Cross-Posting Re: California Faculty Association (CFA)

She's baaaack

As I have often done in the past, I am cross-posting an op-ed by my friend, Tammi Rossman-Benjamin of the Amcha Initiative, which appears in the Jewish Journal (Los Angeles). It concerns the California Faculty Association (CFA), which represents teachers in the California State University (CSU) system, which comprises 23 campuses. This organization has been working to dilute protections for Jewish students in California Assembly Bill 715, which was an attempt to eliminate any anti-Semitism in California's ethnic studies curricula in K-12.

In the article, Tammi points out three professors who are leading the charge: Melina Abdullah of California State University at Los Angeles, Theresa MontaƱo, California State University at Northridge, and Rabab Abdulhadi of San Francisco State. Of the three, it was Abdulhadi who caught my attention. I have written often about her on this site. I vividly recall the time she was scheduled to speak at UC Irvine, in 2015, and somehow never materialized on stage after I showed up with my video camera, and a dean who was present refused to enforce the Muslim Students Union's demand that no videotaping be done. Three chairs were sitting on the stage, and nobody ever sat in them. Instead, organizers hurriedly organized a Skype interview with some Palestinian character in Washington DC.

I find it greatly concerning that activist professors in the California State University system, as well as the University of California system, are so intent on indoctrinating our children in elementary and secondary schools with so many negative references to Jews, as outlined by Tammi. We have a serious problem of anti-Semitism, largely due to the constant anti-Israel propaganda on behalf of the Palestinian cause. First, it was in our universities, and now it is spreading to K-12, largely thanks to academic activists. They should stay out of our elementary and secondary schools and worry about their university campuses, which are in sorry shape, I must say (because of them).

Germany: Naturalisation One Day-Revocation the Next (Kind of)

"Now repeat after me.... I pledge allegiance to the flag.........."

The story below is a perfect illustration of what Germany is up against after then-Chancellor Angela Merkel (pictured above) opened the floodgates for over a million Syrian "refugees" to come pouring into Germany and other European countries in 2015

The article below concerns a Syrian/Palestinian man who was naturalised as a German citizen and the very next day praised the Hamas terrorists on social media. In response, Germany is revoking his passport and taking steps to revoke his German citizenship as well.

So far, so good, right?

Even if those steps take legal effect, the question is open as to whether he can be deported. The man, apparently, will be able to lodge appeal after appeal.

Due to Germany's history with the Holocaust, provisions to counter anti-Semitism are enshrined in the law. It appears that the man's salute to Hamas contradicts a required declaration he made during the naturalisation process that he recognised "free-democratic basic order" and the protection of Jewish life in Germany. (Obviously, Hamas does not recognise either.)

The article below from Welt is translated by Fousesquawk.

"Heroes of Palestine"

Syrian celebrates Hamas one day after receiving citizenship-Berlin revokes passport
-Posted 17:13 (November 19, 2025)

Caption: A Palestinian in Berlin allegedly celebrated photos of Hamas fighters as "heroes" on Instagram one day after his naturalisation. The State Immigration Office is now looking at revoking his German citizenship.

-Source: WELT TV

Just one day after his naturalisation, a man put up a posting on social media in which he celebrated Hamas terrorists. Now his passport is to be revoked. The responsible authority considers itself deceived.

After celebrating the terror organization, Hamas, on social media, a man is going to lose his German passport. The Berlin State Office for Immigration (Lea) is revoking the Syrian's passport, as the German Press Agency (DPA) learned from security circles.  The state office would not comment on the case, referring to "legal data protection considerations."

According to reports from Bild and Berliner Zeitung, the young man, who came to Berlin as a pre-schooler and grew up here, posted a photo on Instagram of two fighters from the Hamas terror militia with a Palestinian flag one day after his naturalisation. The caption under the picture, "Heroes of Palestine" (German: Heroes of Palestine), was reportedly accompanied by a green heart. Moreover, the man reportedly often attracted the attention of police at pro-Palestinian demonstrations after the Hamas terror attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.

Authority sees itself  deceived

The State Office for Immigration, according to DPA, reportedly was made aware of the case through security authorities and sees itself as being deceived. Because since June 2024, there are new naturalisation rules in Germany, under which concerned individuals must submit a statement that they recognize the free democratic basic order and the protection of Jewish life. The man reportedly made this declaration- then glorified Hamas on Instagram.

From the perspective of the immigration authority, this constitutes the crime of deception. The man was notified and had 4 weeks to respond, but did not. Now the notification is on its way to his lawyer, in which the naturalisation is being revoked.

Berlin's governing mayor, Kai Wegner (CDU), praised the authority for their consistent approach. "The recognition of free-democratic basic order during naturalisation is, for us, no formality. Whoever believes they can deceive here can see the consistent action by Berlin authorities," he wrote on the online platform, X.

The concerned person can file an appeal against the decision. Then the Senate Interior Administration must review the case. (If) they confirm the revocation of the naturalisation, the man can file a complaint before the Berlin Administrative Court.

Should the decision of the Immigration Authority come into legal force, the man would no longer be a German. The responsible district office would have to confiscate the passport and change the information at the (appropriate residence reporting authority). After a revocation of German citizenship, the question would be whether the man can remain in Germany. Under such a decision, however, the specific living circumstances of the man and whether he grew up here, would come into play.

Wacko College Courses (3)

Welcome to the 3rd installment of Wacko College Courses. A big tip of the hat to Campus Reform and The College Fix, which have supplied most of the material below.

We start off at  Adler University in Chicago, which is offering instruction on kinky fetishes, among others. They even refer to males as "people with penises" and females as "people with vulvas". Well, who can argue with that?

Meanwhile, at the University of Central Arkansas, English students can take classes on "queer childhoods."

"Professor Christine Case is offering an “interdisciplinary writing” course focused on “queer childhoods” twice this semester.  The university’s course description only lists the generic information for the writing course.

Case has previously described herself as a “queer disabled poet PhD writing about fairy tales and sing-alongs, ocean critters and lava flows” in a book she wrote. Her doctorate is in “critical and cultural studies” from the University of Pittsburgh."

I have no idea what the connection is between English and "queer childhoods". Maybe something to do with Intersectionality, for all I know.

At the University of California at San Diego, a professor named Shaista Aziz Patel has an Ethnic Studies course that teaches that Israel is committing....

SOPHICIDE!!

She also accuses her own university of being a "surveillance regime". Jewish Onliner has the report here.

I have no idea how much these courses cost, but as I always say: You can't put a price tag on 4 years of this stuff.

Germany; Syrian Goes on Rampage in Dresden

Hat tip Vlad Tepes and Gates of Vienna.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz made headlines in Germany this week when he said that Syrian refugees should now be repatriated back to their home country since the Syrian civil war is over.

He sure has a point.

That point was underlined this past Wednesday in Dresden when a 31-year-old Syrian man went on a rampage on the street, attacking several people with kicks and punches. One woman had to be taken to a hospital. During his arrest, the Syrian man was heard shouting, "Allahu Akhbar" over and over.

The man was subdued by a bystander and held until police arrived. Rather than be taken to jail, the suspect was taken to a psychiatric hospital. Sometimes it seems that is standard operating procedure when one of these characters commits a crime.

The article below from TAG24 is translated by Fousesquawk. We are in the process of adding English subtitles to a video news report of the incident.

Bloody attack in Mickten (Dresden): Man attacks several people

By Lea Kluge and Jakob Anders

Dresden-  On Wednesday morning, calls of "Allahu akhbar" echoed through Leipzigerstrasse in Dresden. A psychologically disturbed man (31) attacked several people, including women and children. He was involuntarily committed.

As the police informed TAG24, at 10:05, the 31-year-old initially attacked a 29-year-old  woman with a small child with punches and kicks at the Alttrachau streetcar stop on Leipzigerstrasse.
He then attacked a 67-year-old female driver who had stopped and gotten out of her car with punches and kicks.

Shortly thereafter, the man attacked another female driver (64) who was stopped in her auto on Leipzigerstrasse. He punched his victim through the driver's side window.

An eyewitness (37) hurried to help and was also attacked by the 31-year-old man and struck. In spite of that, the passerby managed to hold the suspect until the police arrived.

Officers arrested the Syrian national. During (the arrest), he chanted religious slogans.

Caption: The police were at the scene securing evidence.

Because the 31-year-old man was showing psychological symptoms, he was involuntarily committed. He is currently in a psychiatric hospital.

"The political statements have nothing to do with the man's apparent psychological symptoms," explains police spokesperson Marko Laske (50). The man was not under the influence of drugs.

The 64-year-old woman had to be taken to the hospital, (while) the other three persons were treated at the scene.

The Syrian is now being investigated for assault with bodily injury. What drove the man to his brutal act is unclear. The investigation is ongoing.

Initial report at 15:08, last updated 16:33.

*Update-11-20-2025: Here is the above-mentioned video with English subtitles. Hat tip to RAIR Foundation USA, Vlad Tepes, and Gates of Vienna for subtitling. Fousesquawk assisted with the translation.

France: "Pas de Vagues" (No Waves) in Oleron Terror Attack

Hat tip  Francois DeSouche

The suspect vehicle
-Le Figaro

We previously reported on a car attack in L'Ile d'Oleron, France on November 5. Several people were injured, and the driver, apparently a convert to Islam, allegedly screamed, "Allahu Akhbar" during the incident and his arrest.

One of the victims, who is recovering from her injuries, has issued a press release dated November 14, in which she thanks the public for their support, but lambasts the French government for its apparent failure to declare the case an act of terrorism and assign it to the Anti-Terrorism Public Prosecutor's Office. Her statement was posted on X by a French politician from the conservative Rassemblement National party, Pierre-Romaine Thionnet.

The statement is translated by Fousesquawk.

Press release

For immediate dissemination

Poitiers, 14 November

Miracles exist even in our sick society

A lucky star

First of all, I just wanted to thank the thousands of French people who have expressed their support for me. Your words, your thoughts, and your prayers have greatly touched me, and it is with joy that I am able to bring you good news: I am well, and my condition is progressively getting better. I hope to have no aftereffects and that my "normal" life will resume its course.

In the opinion of many doctors at the CHU in Poitiers, the way I have recovered is a miracle. Miracle? A lucky star? A good support group (of which you are a collective part)? Or simple justice in the face of an act so cruel that I have suffered? It is for each to draw whatever conclusions and justifications they wish.

....faced with an act of barbarism....

Looking back on the facts, Wednesday, 5 November, as I was running along a bike/pedestrian track in my community of Dolus, usually so tranquil, a man deliberately ran into me with his vehicle, throwing me about 15 meters, and leaving me literally for dead. Fortunately, my body was quickly seen and reported, allowing for a rapid-and necessary- treatment. In a state of shock, I lost consciousness, and for now, I have no precise memories of the impact. However, I think a lot of the people who were psychologically affected by finding my inert body.

This man did not attack me personally. He had just set out to kill, to make a sacrifice, supposedly, in the name of his prophet, a maximum of victims to be worthy of carefully preparing his act: the knife and the bottles of gas in his car being the proof. A morning of absolute horror.

...........terrorist

Thus, a human sacrifice, confirmed by religious texts found in his residence, and the fact that he was self-radicalized. He signed his act, pronouncing a phrase heavy in meaning for us French, especially in this period of mourning, 10 years after Bataclan: "Allahu akhbar"; everything is said, it all makes sense. So imagine my surprise to learn that the French state is so sick and so ill at ease faced with the consequences of its political choices that it still chooses the appalling and devastating strategy of "no waves".... No waves, therefore, no referral to the Anti-Terrorism Public Prosecutor's Office. Self-radicalization, exists in France, however, including in Oleron.

Such not making waves that the government of France almost seems to be denying the existence of this madness of November 5, and not making any contact with the victims. "We close our eyes and hope that when reopening them, nothing will exist, and the French people will have forgotten!" Fortunately however, the French people see the reality and know very well that this latest attack is not a minor incident, but is rather a societal issue.

Italy: 4 American Jews Attacked by Pakistani in Milan

Milan Central Train Station
Now uglier than ever.

Milan's Central Train Station is noted for its Mussolini-era fascist architectural facade. In short, it is an ugly building. In the 1980s, when I was living in Milan, I had many an occasion to be in that building. In those days, it was considerably safer than it is today. Now it is a hangout for various and sundry illegal migrants from shaky countries like Pakistan, and crime is a big problem.

So it was three days ago when 4 American Jews were waiting to board a train and were set upon by a 25-year-old Pakistani man who had just arrived on another train. Seeing what were apparently Jews by their appearance or dress, he allegedly set upon one of them with kicks and punches as well as striking him on the head with a blunt object. Needless to say, the Pakistani man, who, according to the article below, had a previous criminal record in Italy, was quickly arrested. The injured victim was taken to a local hospital, but his injuries are not considered serious.

Just another day in Milan.

The article below from Open Online is translated by Fousesquawk.

Milano, Jewish Americans attacked with kicks and punches at Central Station: 25-year-old Pakistani man arrested.

November 10,2025 at 20:50-Alba Romano

The man, with a prior criminal record, had just arrived on another train. He first addressed the group, then he attacked them. The victim's injuries are not serious.

This afternoon at the Milan Central Train Station, police arrested a 25-year-old Pakistani man with a prior criminal record for aggravated assault with personal injuries based on racial, ethnic, and religious discrimination. According to what has been reconstructed by Ansa (National Press Agency Association), the man allegedly went after a group of American Jews waiting to take a train near track 8. The young Pakistani man allegedly attacked one of them, violently striking him with kicks and punches, then on the head with a blunt object. At that point, the Railway Police officers arrived, stopped him, and placed him under arrest. A state railway security employee had alerted them, after being advised by some travelers who noticed what was happening. Some of them, reportedly, initially attempted to protect the man who was attacked.

Cold-hearted attack and police intervention

The Railway Police patrol, a short distance away, immediately intervened and stopped the attacker. As shown by the video surveillance cameras, the police then verified that the man, upon seeing the group trying to check the train schedule on the departure board, had first begun to shout at them, then violently attacked the victim with punches and kicks, injuring his head. The injured person was taken to Fatebenefratelli Hospital, but not in serious condition. The arrested Pakistani man, who had just arrived in Milan on board a train, was arrested.

France Observes the 10th Anniversary of the November 13 Attacks

Tomorrow will mark the 10th anniversary of the terror attacks on Paris by Islamic terrorists, including the attack on the Bataclan nightclub. France is increasing its security apparatus in anticipation of another possible attack. In the article below in Le Figaro, a French pollster explains how virtually every part of France, urban, rural etc., has been affected by terrorism, and compares and contrasts how the average Frenchman has reacted to terrorism since November 13, 2015. The results vary depending on whether one lives in large cities or rural parts of France, as well as whether one is on the right or left politically.

The article is translated by Fousesquawk.

"Since 2015, all the familiar landscapes of the French have been hit by Islamic terrorism," Jerome Fourquet observes

-By Augustin Moriaux

Le Figaro TV- From Paris to the small church of Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray, passing by the supermarket in Trebes or by the middle school in Bois d'Aulne, the assiduous observer of French fractures looks back on the "kaleidoscope" of Islamist attacks that have not spared "any French landscape since 2015".

If November 13, 2015, with 130 dead and 413 injured, not forgetting those who never recovered, the broken and bereaved families, constitutes "the peak of Islamist attacks", the author of French Metamorphoses (Le Sueil) recalls the spread of the terrorist domain since then, on the set of "Points of View" (Le Figaro TV). "When we make a kaleidoscope of Islamist attacks since 2015, we observe that the terrorists targeted the City of Light, the middle school in Bois d'Aulne-that of Samuel Paty- in Conflans-Saint-Honorine, and a supermarket in Trebes, where Arnaud Beltrame and other victims met their death. We also remember the police couple, whose throats were cut in their residence in a residential area in Magnaville in Saint-Quentin-Fallavier, a logistical (commercial/transportation) area on the periphery of Lyon, or the little church of the Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray quarter, where Father Hamel also had his throat cut," says the director of the Department of Opinion and Corporate Strategies of Ifop. A macabre list to which the pollster adds the last earthquake to date, since "in another vein, there was very recently that which had been missing in the 'portfolio', the peaceful resort of L'Oleron Island. All in all, the familiar landscapes of the overwhelming majority of the French people have been touched.

As for the sad anniversary of the Paris attacks, Jerome Fourquet observes that "60% of the French people tell us that November 13 changed forever the way they envision life and the future. Their relationship to risk and 'living together', the anxiety now in certain places. Nothing will be like before". So much so that even 10 years later, 47% of the French people "still feel anger, which shows that this all has not been processed."

"The more to the right one is, the angrier they are, and the more to the left one is, the more they feel sorrow and solidarity".

-Jerome Fourquet on Figaro TV

An in-depth study on the perception of the attacks according to geographic zones of those queried reveals a divide between the large cities-including the epicenter of November 13, and rural France. "If we zoom in on eastern Paris, the most impacted by the 2015 attacks, it is pain and sorrow that dominate, more than anger. A sentiment completely different than the France of small towns, rural France, which were not on the front lines. Unsurprisingly, this reflects politics."The more to the right one is, the angrier they are, and the more to the left one is, the more they feel sorrow and solidarity", underlines Jerome Fourquet, guest of Anne-Emmanuelle Isaac.

UC Berkeley's Latest Black Eye

-KQED News

The University of California at Berkeley, which for many years has been (erroneously in my view) considered the most prestigious university in the Western United States, and favorably compared to the Ivy League schools (also overrated in my view), has once again suffered a huge black eye.

On Monday night, only two months removed from the assassination of Turning Point USA founder, Charlie Kirk, at Utah Valley University, TPUSA scheduled an event at UC Berkeley. As is true to form, a massive and violent protest broke out, thanks to the usual suspects among the pro-Marxist, pro-Palestinian, pro-anarchist, anti-West mobs. Fights broke out, and arrests were made. Here is how Fox News describes it.

Here is how the politically-correct campus newspaper, Daily Californian, described it.

These disturbances are nothing new at UCB. They are to be expected any time a conservative, pro-America, or pro-Israel event comes to campus (which is not that often). This has long been a poorly run university. The much-touted idea of free speech is a one-way street.

Like so many other so-called institutions of higher learning, UCB has long been led by a succession of chancellors and administrators who are too weak-kneed to confront the rowdy elements on campus, the outside agitators, like Antifa, the radical professors, and especially, the pro-Palestinian mobs. Worse yet, they have allowed a climate of Jew hatred to fester and grow on their campuses, making life miserable for Jewish students. And make no mistake: UC Berkeley is one of the worst offenders, arguably the worst west of the Mississippi.

One can only wonder- what kind of culture would act this way toward TPUSA only two months after its founder was assassinated on a college campus while merely holding a civil debate with those he disagreed with?

It is the same kind of culture that would rise up in support of Hamas immediately after they had committed the worst atrocity against the Jewish people since the Holocaust.

It is the same kind of culture that never blinked when then-candidate Donald Trump was the target of two assassination attempts, one of which cost the life of a bystander. The hate toward Trump continues unabated, to the point where another attempt is widely expected by many, including myself.

It is the same kind of culture that, only two decades after 911, could elect a man like Zohran Mamdani to be mayor of New York.

There is an element in our society that so hates everything that America stands for that events like 911, the murder of Kirk, and the attempted murder of Trump have no effect on them. Not even the most shocking of events can make them stop and think that maybe they should reconsider certain beliefs that have led to these horrible acts.

Have they so soon forgotten the deaths of Kirk, 1,200+ Israelis, and the assassination attempts on Trump? In actuality, how many actually celebrated these acts? That is the more appropriate question.

We have a big problem in our society, and it is growing. It is not just that certain people hold hate in their hearts because we are not supposed to criminalize thoughts. But when people resort to violence, threats, destruction, and denial of the rights of others, it is time to arrest, prosecute, and incarcerate. It is time for campus demonstrators to be arrested once they cross the line and commit crimes. The same goes for those taking to the streets and engaging in violence and destruction.

It starts not just on our streets but in our universities, many of which have become hotbeds of Jew hatred. The offenders must be removed. They must be removed from our campuses, removed from our countries if they are foreigners, and given stiff jail terms and fines that are commensurate with the law. In that vein, the incident at UC Berkeley is reportedly going to be investigated by the US Department of Justice. I welcome that.

Child Prostitution in France: Is the Government Complicit?

Hat tip RAIR Foundation USA, Vlad Tepes, and Gates of Vienna

I am cross-posting an article from RAIR Foundation USA regarding the case of a young girl who was the victim of child prostitution in France. Worse yet, she was supposedly under the protection of three governmental child protection homes while all this was happening. Fousesquawk also assisted in the translation of the video in the article, along with RAIR Foundation USA, Gates of Vienna, and Vlad Tepes.

Noura Erakat to Speak at UCLA

I am cross-posting an article in the Jewish Journal (Los Angeles) by my friend and colleague, Tammi Rossman-Benjamin. Tammi is a retired professor of Hebrew at the University of California at Santa Cruz and co-founder of the Amcha Initiative, an organization devoted to combating campus anti-Semitism. I have previously posted many of Tammi's articles on this site. This article illustrates how university faculty has been part of the problem of anti-Semitism on our campuses.

In this article, Tammi informs us that Rutgers professor Noura Erakat is coming to speak at UCLA on the subject of Israel and the Palestinians. She is a fierce critic of Israel, and her vitriol over the years has led to numerous accusations of anti-Semitism. She has also previously been featured on this site over the years.

Rutgers is one of the worst schools in the country when it comes to anti-Semitism, and in my view, Erakat has contributed to that climate.

Germany: Pro-Hamas Students Storm University Building and Set Off Firecrackers

In Munich, now that the Oktoberfest is all wrapped up, the little rascals have to find other ways to occupy themselves. So it was that on Friday, about 40 pro-Hamas types stormed the main campus building of the Technical University of Munich, set off fireworks from the roof, unfurled a banner, and finally left after being threatened with trespass charges.

The article below from Welt is translated by Fousequawk.

Pro-Palestinian activists storm university-100 police officers deployed

Posted November 9, 2025

About 40 pro-Palestinian activists stormed the main building of the Technical University of Munich and set off fireworks from the roof. They left the building after threats of trespass charges.

During a demonstration, about 40 pro-Palestinian activists entered the main building of the Technical University of Munich. They set off fireworks from the roof and unfurled a banner, as a police spokesperson reported. According to the information, the demonstration was held under the motto, "Students against TUM complicity-Stop research for apartheid."

After about 2 hours, the activists left the building when they were threatened with trespass charges by the university. The police then secured the entrance to the university building.

According to police, around 500 demonstrators in total marched through the Bavarian capital on Friday evening. No other incidents happened, (and )around 100 police officers were deployed.

Anti-Semitism commissioner speaks of slander

Bavaria's anti-Semitism Commissioner, Ludwig Spaenle, stated on the incident that criticism of the Israeli government is absolutely permissible, but defaming the Federal Government of Germany's scientific institutions is unacceptable. The accusations of the activists of an alleged complicity of the Technical University in the suffering of people in Gaza are vile slander and lack any foundation.

Austria: Police Seize Hamas Weapons Cache in Vienna

As part of a coordinated anti-terror operation between Germany, Austria, and the UK, Austrian police have seized a weapons cache in Vienna connected to the arrest of 3 men in Berlin in early October. In addition, British police have arrested an alleged co-conspirator in the UK who is identified as the son of a high-ranking Hamas official. The arrests and seizures are reportedly all linked to Hamas's effort to carry out terror attacks against Jews and Jewish institutions in Europe. The Austrian daily, Heute, identifies the 3 Berlin suspects as; Abed Al G., Wael F.M., and Ahamad I.

As often reported on this site, these terror plots are going on all over Western Europe, and several have been thwarted just in recent weeks by European police. More are expected with the coming of the Christmas season, when Christmas markets are a prime target. In France, as they are preparing to commemorate the victims of the November 13, 2015 terror attacks in Paris, the police and intelligence services are on high alert. Three women have just been arrested in France for allegedly planning a terror attack. All this is supposed to be connected with convicted terrorist, Salah Abdesalam, the last surviving member of the November 15 attacks, who, coincidentally, has just been found to be in possession of an unauthorized computer thumb drive in his cell.

And it's not just in Europe. In New Jersey, it is being reported today that three young men have been arrested in connection with the recent Halloween jihadist terror plot that was foiled in Michigan.

Yes, they are not just in Europe; they are here as well.

The article below, from today's online Unzensuriert (Austria), a conservative site, is translated by Fousesquawk.

The radical Islamist Hamas had stockpiled weapons in Vienna and planned attacks against Israeli or Jewish institutions.

In Vienna, an alleged weapons cache of the Islamist Hamas was discovered. Investigators from the Office of State Security and Intelligence Service (DSN) found several firearms and magazines in a rented storage room. Five handguns and 10 corresponding magazines were seized. According to current information, the weapons were allegedly to be used for possible attacks against Israeli or Jewish institutions in Europe.

Son of Hamas functionary arrested

The discovery comes in connection with an internationally coordinated investigative action. In Great Britain, on Monday, a 39-year-old man was reportedly arrested, who, according to ITV News, is the son of a high-ranking Hamas functionary. The suspect will reportedly be handed over to Germany.

Swedish TV Documents Massacre in Sudan

Al-Fateh Abdullah Idris aka Abu Lulu

While the leftists in the West cry, march, and protest on behalf of the Palestinians in Gaza, they don't utter a peep about what is going on in places like Sudan and Nigeria. In Nigeria, thousands of Christians are being murdered by Muslim terrorists, while in Sudan, the so-called Rapid Support Forces or RSF militia is carrying out atrocities against innocent civilians. On October 26, the RSF captured the western Sudan town of al-Fashir, and they have reportedly raped and executed thousands. Swedish State TV (SVT) has reviewed about 10 videos spread on social media by RSF themselves that show the massacre of 80 civilians.

The article below from SVT, which also contains video (viewer warning), is translated by Fousesquawk. We also anticipate adding English subtitles to the video. It must be noted that while neither the written article nor the video's Swedish narration mentions it, you can hear repeated calls of "Allahu akhbar" from the RSF killers.

The video clip shows brutal massacre by RSF in Sudan

Posted today (11-7-2025) at 18:57

SVT verifies- 2,000 civilians reportedly have died after the paramilitary RSF took control over the town al-Fashir in Sudan almost two weeks ago. SVT has verified some 10 film clips from the scene where over 80 people were murdered.

On October 26, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) captured the town of al-Fashir in southwestern Sudan. According to the UN, the population has been subjected to executions and sexual violence.

"We are appalled over the scope and brutality of the crimes reported in al-Fashir," the UN Human Rights Agency, OHCHR, writes.

The al-Fashir massacre is well-documented. SVT has reviewed 10 film clips that are disseminated on social media; many seem to have been filmed by the perpetrators themselves. In the video clips can be seen more than 80 bodies. Many of the video clips were also earlier geolocated by Bellingcat.

In one clip, soldiers sitting on a jeep can be seen. They laugh as they pass dead people lying on the ground.

Unarmed people shot to death

In many of the video clips that SVT has reviewed, a man is seen with dark, curly hair and a white scarf shooting people to death- Abu Lulu, commander in the RSF, according to several independent sources. He has been active in the militia at least since 2023 and has made himself known as brutal and ruthless.

On October 30, RSF announced on Telegram that it had detained a number of persons, including Abu Lulu, who are accused of "violations". The arrest has been dismissed by certain investigators as a PR stunt.

 People in flight

Since October 26, over 82,000 people have fled al-Fashir, and 1,300 people have arrived in the neighboring town of Tawila with gunshot wounds, according to the UN.

"This is the worst I have seen in terms of human suffering," says surgeon Peter Moberger, who works with Doctors Without Borders in Tawila.

On Thursday, RSF agreed to a proposal for a humanitarian ceasefire. One day later, the AP news bureau received information that Sudan's military had shot down RSF drones.

In the video, you can see how the mass murder outside al-Fashir took place.

Civil War in Sudan

After the dictator, Omar al-Bashir, was overthrown in 2019, RSF and the Regular Army (SAF) ruled together prior to coming into conflict, and war broke out in 2023.

Egypt, Iran, and Saudi Arabia support the army. The UAE supports the RSF.

Now the world's biggest humanitarian catastrophe is ongoing in the country, which is 4 times bigger than Sweden in terms of land surface.

The town of al-Fashir, with 250,000 residents, was the Sudanese army's last big stronghold in Western Sudan until the RSF took control over the town in October 2025.

How we did the review

SVT gathered 10 video clips disseminated on social media, which show how the massacre took place

By comparing visible landmarks in the video clips with a satellite image taken by the Vantor company on October 27, we were able to establish that the incidents took place north of the town of al-Fashir (coordinates: 13.713553, 25.278606). On the satellite image can be seen burned out cars which we have matched with the video clip. The satellite images from Planet Labs indicate that the cars were not there on October 26.

With the help of the Suncalc tool, we have analyzed the length and direction of visible shadows, which show that most of the video clips were filmed in the morning.

We have identified RSF's commander, Abu Lulu, by comparing video clips with earlier images of the commander.

Mexico: Plot to Attack Israeli Embassy/Ambassador Thwarted

    Israeli Ambassador Einat Krantz-Neiger
    (Excelsior)

Mexican and US sources are announcing that earlier this year, Mexico thwarted a plot to assassinate Israel's ambassador, Einat Kranz-Neiger, on Mexican soil. Both the US and Mexico are accusing  Iran of being behind the plot. Specific details apparently have not been disclosed at this time.

The article below from today's Excelsior (Mexico) is translated by Fousesquawk.

Israel thanks Mexico for thwarting an attack on its embassy

The Israeli diplomatic mission in the country pointed out the coordinated work of the Mexican agencies that succeeded in thwarting the intentions of the attack.

Raul Flores Martinez, November 7, 2025 at 12:46

The government of Israel expressed its profound gratitude to the security and intelligence agencies of Mexico for having neutralized an alleged terrorist plan directed by Iran, whose objective was to attack the Israeli ambassador on Mexican territory.

Through a press release, the Israeli mission in the country pointed out the coordinated work of the Mexican agencies who, through a joint operation, succeeded in thwarting the intentions of the attack, avoiding an attack they classified as part of an Iranian global strategy against Israeli targets and Jews.

    Embassy of Israel in Mexico

"The state of Israel will continue working tirelessly and in close cooperation with its counterparts all over the world to frustrate the terrorist threats of Iran and its emissaries."

The statement recalled that Teheran has publicly reiterated its purpose of eliminating the state of Israel, with statements from its leaders that incite violence and destruction.

It also mentioned that terrorist actions linked to Iran have a long history in Latin America.

Among them, the 1992 attacks against the Israeli embassy in Buenos Aires, which left 29 dead and more than 240 injured, and the 1994 attack against AMIA, the headquarters of the Argentine Jewish community, in which 85 people died.

    Israel vs. Iran

In the current context, two opposing paths are evident. On the one hand, Israel is maintaining a ceasefire agreement in Gaza, with the objective of promoting a new reality of stability and peace in the Middle East, backed by various countries of the region, among them, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and Qatar.

On the other hand, Iran continues to pursue actions of destabilization, both directly and through its allied groups, threatening regional and global security.

    Terrorist threats

This case is not insignificant for Mexico in that planning an attack against the ambassador of Israel in our country shows that threats of international terrorism are not foreign to the region. They are much closer than many believe.

The fact that Mexican authorities have intervened in time not only avoids a tragedy but also makes it clear that Mexico has the capacity and the will to act when it comes to protecting diplomatic security.

In Latin America, the Jewish communities and the Israeli embassies continue to be possible targets of attacks like those that already occurred in Buenos Aires in the 1990s.

France: Afghan "Refugee" Who Thought Taliban Were Heroes Murders Wife

    Hat tip Remix News (Hungary)

This story first broke in September, and we picked it up from Remix News (Hungary). It is yet another murder in Europe by an Afghan "refugee". The victim, Ines, was working for an association that helps refugees, and entered into a romantic relationship with an Afghan man, identified by some sources as Habib (36). Later, the man allegedly began abusing her, and she filed 6 complaints with French police in Poitiers. Apparently, no action was taken. In September, Ines, who had moved out of their shared dwelling to take refuge with her mother, returned to the residence to pick up mail and was stabbed to death. The suspect is apparently still being sought.

I wonder just how many innocent people in Europe have been murdered by these so-called refugees from Afghanistan. Reportedly, this "refugee" expressed the opinion that the Taliban were heroes and that he intended to return to Afghanistan.

The article below from Le Figaro is translated by Fousesquawk. The translation is incomplete because the article is under a partial subscriber block.

"He said that the Taliban were heroes": In Poitiers, the anger of the family of Ines after the murder of the young woman.

Caption: Ines (left) and her mother, Angelique (right)

Story: Ines, stabbed to death on Monday, had filed 6 complaints against her former partner, an Afghan refugee, for acts of violence and harassment, in vain. Her mother describes a "dangerous man" and "an extremist", who "did not want to integrate and intended to return to Afghanistan."

"She was just going to pick up her mail, (but) unfortunately, she entered the house but never came out." Contacted by Le Figaro, the family of Ines recounts the last moments of the 25-year-old young woman, killed on Monday by several stab wounds in Poitiers. In this instance, her former partner, the principal suspect, is still being sought. Harassed, threatened with death, and beaten by a political refugee from Afghanistan. Ines was no longer living at her residence for a month, but had taken refuge with her mother, Angelique.

Despite 6 complaints lodged with the police station, those close to the victim maintain that the police "did not take Ines' statements seriously". An investigation by IGPN (Inspectorate General of the National Police) has been opened, a source close to the case tells us. The prosecutor's office in Poitiers has opened a murder case.

    Sexual violence, physical and verbal

Ines was working for an association that assists migrants, particularly in administrative procedures. Sometimes, she also gave them........(subscriber block).

Sweden: Police Foil Planned Terrorist Attack

Swedish police have announced that a terror plot by two men, one an 18-year-old Syrian with Swedish citizenship and a 17-year-old, not further identified, has been foiled. Both were arrested, apparently earlier this year. The Swedish daily, Expressen, has identified the 18-year-old as Faris al Abdullah, and also reports that an undercover Swedish police officer had made contact with the suspect during the planning stage.

ISIS man was going to attack a cultural festival

    Posted November 6, 2025 at 10:23 am

Domestic- An 18-year-old Syrian with Swedish citizenship is charged with having planned a terror attack in the name of the Islamic State against a cultural festival in  KungstrƤdgĆ„rden. According to the indictment, he attempted to manufacture explosive material, purchased a body camera to film the crime, and had already made a martyr's video in January.

The planning reportedly went on from August 2024 to February of this year, when SƤpo (Security Police) intervened. The accused reportedly scouted KungstrƤdgĆ„rden and conducted searches related to the festival.

The prosecutor states that the arrest occurred on the same day that he was deemed to have begun what could have become functional (explosive) charges.

"The purpose of the act was to instill serious fear in the name of ISIS in people or a portion of people who do not share ISIS' ideology," the prosecutor writes in the indictment.

In addition, the 18-year-old, together with a 17-year-old from Malmƶ, is also charged with attempted murder in Eppstein, Germany, in August 2024. The pair allegedly procured a knife, scouted out the victim's residence, and tried to get in before the attack was interrupted, and German police were alerted.

Both are also charged with aggravated participation in a terrorist organization. At their residence(s), authorities reportedly found terrorist- related material and an oath of allegiance to ISIS. The 18-year-old man is also charged with preparation of an aggravated crime against the Law on Flammable and Explosive Materials, as well as aggravated training for terrorism.

The National Unit for Security Targets is holding a press conference on the case at 1 pm.

    Escape From New York

This article first appeared in New English Review.

In truth, New York City has never been one of my favorite towns. Maybe a lot of that has to do with me being born and raised in Los Angeles. Call it a conflict of cultures.

My own experiences in the Big Apple are pretty much limited to my career in the Drug Enforcement Administration. Though I was never stationed in New York City, I had many occasions to go there on cases and to testify in federal court, both in the Southern District of New York (Manhattan) and the Eastern District Court, located in Brooklyn. I never had a desire to go there on holiday.

It’s not that I feel any animosity toward New Yorkers. I had occasion to work with many agents who were New Yorkers, especially during my 5 years stationed in Milan, Italy (1982-1987). It’s true that many New Yorkers come across as brash and quick to speak their mind, which can put off people from other parts of the country. Once you get to know them, deep inside, they are like Americans from other regions of the US.

When 9-11 happened, I, like most any decent American, poured out my heart to the city, given the horrendous event that happened that day. We all came together, and, as the saying goes, we all became New Yorkers.

That brings me to the subject at hand. As expected, Zohran Mamdani was elected as mayor yesterday, and the reaction is being felt all over the country. Just two and a half decades after the attack on the Twin Towers by Al Qaida, New York has not just elected a Muslim mayor, but one who is clearly an Islamist, an extreme leftist, an anti-Semite, and a supporter of Hamas in the recent war in Gaza, precipitated by the horrendous attack against Israel on October 7, 2023.  In my view, it is a slap in the face for the victims and their families, not to mention the police and fire fighters who died heroically that day.

    How could this have happened?

It is true that the city has suffered under poor leadership in recent years. The outgoing mayor, Eric Adams, has been nothing to write home about, and his predecessor, Bill de Blasio, was a horrible mayor, a cop-hater who, obviously, was detested by the NYPD due to his hostility to law enforcement. It is also true that Mamdani did not face strong opposition. After defeating the disgraced former governor, Andrew Cuomo, who inexplicably got it into his head that he wanted to be mayor, in the Democratic primary, and who then ran again in the general election as an independent, the only other candidate opposing Mamdani was Curtis Sliwa, of Guardian Angels fame. While I would have preferred to see Sliwa win the job, he clearly had no chance in a solidly blue city.

All that said, the voters in New York have made a disastrous choice knowing full well the baggage that Mamdani brought with him. They knew he wanted to make everything free in the city. They knew he was an anti-Semite, a supporter of “globalizing the intifada”, and a radical extremist. They also knew that he was buddy-buddy with the Islamist New York radical imam, Siraj Wahhaj, a despicable character, who once called America a “filthy garbage can” and who was connected to the so-called Blind Sheikh, Omar Abdel-Rahman, who in turn, orchestrated the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center. Wahhaj even testified in his defense at the trial. And yet, in the face of all this, while supposedly responsible Democratic leaders, like Senator Chuck Schumer of New York, hid in the weeds, New York elected Mamdani as its next mayor.

So where do we go from here? How are we supposed to feel about this city, which some call the greatest city in the world, but yet is filled with serious problems, and is already a place where Jews don’t feel safe. Are we supposed to pray that they weather the storm?

Let me tell you how I feel.

If I were living in that city, I would get out as fast as I could put my house up for sale. If I had a business in that city, I would either sell it or move it lock, stock, and barrel out of the city. Look for a mass exodus out of New York. Watch the economy collapse. I fully expect that we will see mass retirements and resignations within the police department. What cop would want to work under a mayor who hates them? They already experienced that with de Blasio. Already, the city fire chief has announced his resignation.

Crime will now have a free hand, as if it doesn’t already. New York will proudly continue its role as a sanctuary city, and criminals who are arrested will be turned loose even faster than they have been under the last two administrations. Jews will be openly attacked on the streets and their synagogues and institutions will be also be attacked. Pro-Palestinian riots will increase in intensity, and yes, people will get injured or even killed. At the risk of hyperbole, I feel that New York City’s future will begin to resemble that old Kurt Russel movie, “Escape From New York”.

There is no question that any semblance of a relationship between the Trump administration and the city will disappear. ICE will continue its operations in the city and be opposed in every way imaginable by Mamdani’s Administration. This will result in more violence whenever ICE launches an operation in the city. Whatever federal funding Trump can withhold from the city, he will withhold. And I don’t blame him.

In short, I think the city should not complain about whatever happens. I do feel bad for those people who strongly opposed Mamdani, but I would also urge them to leave. They are now outnumbered, and life is going to get much worse for them, especially if they are Jewish. In that vein, I have nothing but contempt for those liberal Jews who actually supported Mamdani and voted for him.  As for those voters who voted for this creep, I feel no sympathy for what is to come.  The city of New York has made its bed, and now can lie in it. Sorry, but that’s how I feel.
