Sweden: ISIS Terrorist Convicted and Given Life Sentence

Osama Krayem in a Belgian court in 2016
-Dagens Nyheter

Today in Stockholm, Osama Krayem was convicted and given life imprisonment for his involvement in the horrific burning death of a Jordanian pilot, Muath al-Kasasbeh, in Syria in 2014 during the Syrian war. The victim was burned alive in a cage by ISIS terrorists, and the act was videotaped.

Muath al-Kasasbeh

Krayem was reportedly born in Sweden to Palestinian-Syrian parents. He was previously convicted of terrorist acts in France (2015) and Belgium (2016) before being handed over to Swedish authorities for trial in June of this year.

The article below from today's SVT (Sweden) is translated by Fousesquawk.

New life sentence for ISIS-Swede

Posted today (July 31, 2025) at 11:41

The Swedish terrorist, Osama Krayem, is sentenced to life in prison for having participated in the burning alive death of a Jordanian fighter pilot by ISIS in 2014.

With this, the 32-year-old from Malmö is the first to be convicted of what the prosecutorial authority calls "one of the most brutal murders that ISIS carried out in the war in Syria". He was arrested in absentia (from Sweden) in January, and the trial in Stockholm District Court began in June.

Krayem was previously convicted for his involvement in terrorist acts in Paris in 2015 and in Brussels in 2016. He was then sentenced to 30 years and life imprisonment respectively.

*Update (July 31, 2025). The blow video was posted by SVT just prior to the reading of the verdict and sentence. Hat tip to Gates of Vienna and Vlad Tepes for subtitling. Translation is by Fousesquawk.

UCLA Settles Anti-Semitism Case

"Jewish Exclusion Zone"

UCLA has agreed to pay $6.45 million to settle a lawsuit brought by three students and a professor who claimed they suffered anti-Semitic discrimination during last year's pro-Hamas encampment on campus. The Daily Bruin, UCLA's campus newspaper, has the details here.

This strikes me as a paltry sum considering what Jewish students have had to put up with for years on this campus. Imagine allowing pro-Hamas thugs to set up a "Jewish Exclusion Zone" on campus! Sound familiar?

And how many times have we heard universities prattle on about their "values"?

“Antisemitism, harassment, and other forms of intimidation are antithetical to our values and have no place at the University of California,............”

UCLA has no values.

*Update, July 29, 2025  (Hat tip College Professors United for Jews and Israel.)

Today, the US Justice Department Office of  Civil Rights announced that UCLA is in violation of the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment and Title VI of the 1964 Civil Rights Act in allowing a hostile campus environment for Jewish and Israeli students.

France: Algeria Refusing to Take Back its Deported Citizens

Hat tip Francois Desouche

The Algerian government has sent back several of its nationals who had been deported from France. This is causing consternation with the French Ministry of the Interior, which has issued sanctions against high-ranking Algerian government officials, described below.

This is similar to the problem European countries, particularly the Netherlands, are having deporting criminal Moroccans back to Morocco, which generally refuses to accept them.

The article below from Le Figaro is translated by Fousesquawk and is cross-posted from the French blog, Francois Desouche. It appears that this is a partial article due to a subscriber block.

*Note: The French title on the video reads: "After leaving for Algeria, return to France the next day. 123-Long live Algeria!" The audio is in Arabic.

Islamists under order to leave French territory: Algeria continues to refuse and return its citizens expelled from France.

-Jeanne   July 29, 2025 at 11:47

INFO-Le Figaro- Despite the diplomatic lull between Paris and Algiers, the regime of Abdelmadjid Tebboune has still refused at least 4 of its nationals in the past few days on the pretext of a lack of a consular pass.

The tip of the iceberg? According to Le Figaro's information, at least 4 Algerian citizens expelled from France have been refused (entry) in the last few days by the nation's (Algeria) authorities, a sign that the diplomatic lull between Paris and Algiers these past few weeks, particularly in view of the negotiations over the fate of Boualem Sansal, has run its course.

According to our information, 53 deported individuals have been returned to France between March and July 22, amounting to a total of 76 refused (entry). This angered the Ministry of Interior, which took a series of measures on Tuesday targeting high Algerian officials aimed at forcing the leaders to take back its dangerous nationals. Dozens of political, economic, and military officials will no longer benefit from diplomatic facilities with which to travel to France or settle there.

SJP Suspended at University of Wisconsin

Hat tip College Professors United for Jews and Israel

-Daily Cardinal

The University of Wisconsin-Madison has suspended the campus chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) for one semester after investigating SJP's role in the protest in April on the occasion of a speech on campus by Linda Thomas-Greenfield, former US Ambassador to the UN. The speaker, who had vetoed 4 cease-fire resolutions in the UN in the wake of the October 23, 2023 Hamas attack on Israel, was invited to speak by the UW La Follette School of Public Affairs. The university determined that SJP had violated 5 campus regulations with its actions.

The campus newspaper, Badger Herald has the report with a link to the statement by the university announcing its findings.

While I applaud the suspension, it should have been made permanent. SJP is a nationwide organization that has shown time and time again that disruption is its preferred tactic. As long as SJP is reinstated, it will simply return to its disruptive tactics.

The Muslim Brotherhood in Italy (3)

This is the latest in our series on translations of news articles on the Muslim Brotherhood in Europe and the third such translation from Italy.

This is a fascinating article featuring an interview with the President of the Conference of Imams in France, Imam Hassen Chalghoumi, who is also the Imam of a mosque in the Seine-Saint-Denis suburb of Paris.

Contrary to what you might assume, Chalghoumi is a critic of the Muslim Brotherhood and the spread of Islamism. The interview is a warning to Italy on the dangers of the Brotherhood. In addition, Chalghoumi just led a delegation of Europe-based imams to Israel to show support for the Jewish state. For that effort, the Al Azhar Islamic Institute in Cairo has condemned Chalghoumi and issued a fatwa on him. Thus, Chalghoumi's life is in danger.

The article below is written by Giulia Sorrentino in Il Tempo on July 27, 2025, and is translated by Fousesquawk.

Alarm from the head of Imams in France: Italy, beware- the Muslim Brotherhood wants to subjugate you"

"Italy should beware: Political Islam and the Muslim Brotherhood have a precise design; they want to subjugate and conquer the West in the name of anti-democratic principles using the weapon of victimhood. But this is the antechamber of terrorism". Analyzing the French intelligence report and the secret meeting held in Brussels on the danger of Islamic fundamentalism is Imam Hassen Chalghoumi, President of the Conference of Imams in France.

Is the fear of the Muslim Brotherhood in Italy real?

"If Italy does not react, it risks becoming like France and Belgium. Political Islam and the Muslim Brotherhood are strategists; they work in a way of collaborating with the State to infiltrate the institutions and steal as much information as possible. I know what the risks are; because of this, I say to Italy be very careful. They know very well how to surpass the limits and break down the democratic barriers."

How do they operate?

"The mosques and the fake cultural centers are just the beginning, but then they go on to sporting associations, the desire to run education, especially through courses and books in private schools, then associations, travel, an entire system that operates in silence, waging a cultural battle that wants to take the place of the State. Slowly, slowly, all the way up to politics.  Praying in the streets should be banned, strictly control the mosques, and don't allow places of worship to be built anywhere, but rather in authorized places that respect urban planning criteria and security. Then make the associations responsible, physically and morally, for the behavior of their faithful, so that if the imam crosses the line and gives a sermon against Italy or against Jews, they will be responsible. But if you are not conscious of their desire for conquest, you will be conquered."

How crucial is it to restrict immigration?

"It is fundamental. Many of them are importing fundamentalism. For this (reason), repatriation should be allowed and in a more rapid manner. What are those who don't want this waiting for? For an attack to happen? But Giorgia Meloni and Minister Piantedosi know the gravity of political Islam."

Speaking of the (Italian) government, what do you think of the migration policy?

"I support the Premier's (Meloni)  policy on immigration. It is excellent, but behind her, she has an immobile Europe that does not want to combat Islam, and if it doesn't wake up, we will pay a very heavy price. It is necessary to be even more severe because, due to the silence of Brussels, we have already had many victims. The process of integration is not as easy as some want to make us believe."

Why?

"There are those who don't truly want to integrate. The Islamist project tries to start with the children, brainwashing them, convincing them to pass from theory to action, often violent, inserting Koranic teaching in the schools and very hard precepts, a very rigorous vision, and in stark contrast with the values banned even in some Muslim countries. They instill a sense of victimhood to drive them to (take) revenge on the West; hence, teachers, police, and institutions. The schools must be controlled; they are a nest of fundamentalism because they make them consult dangerous internet sites and submit texts that give you chills. It is right that in Italy, the Lega (League party) has decided to focus on this."

What scares you about their method?

"The widespread recruitment. Influencers, including Italians, today are being used to make propaganda. Islamism has a concrete project, especially regarding women, forced to wear the veil. Do not listen to those who say they are happy to wear it; it's not true. Forced into a condition of inferiority, they try to take them out of school to make them marry young and lock them up at home, and it is they that the Italian policy needs to care for (because) they are defenseless."

You are an imam-why do you think like this, going against the majority of your colleagues?

"I have a vision that is based on real integration, not based on subjugation. We set examples, and we cannot impose unhealthy rules. Interreligious dialogue exists, and it must be this way both with the Christians, as well as the Jews, victims of a pervasive anti-Semitism, whose origins are precisely in the spread of radical Islam."

Italy: Police Subdue Illegal Migrant With Chain on Board Milan Metro

Milan Metro (in happier times)

Just a few days ago, we were reporting on an American citizen being severely stabbed by a group of North Africans on a train in Milan. Now we have another attack, this time on the Milan Metro, where a Nigerian chap, possibly a member of the notorious Nigerian mafia in Italy, was threatening passengers and train personnel with a chain of sorts. When police arrived, they had to use a taser to subdue him, but not before he was able to injure one of the officers. The officer suffered multiple contusions and apparently will be off duty for 8 days (see below prognosis).

The article below by Francesca Galici in Il Giornale is translated by Fousesquawk.

Terror on the Metro in Milan- A foreigner threatens a passerby and wounds an officer

The incident occurred on the Metro line crossing the center of Milan: The police officer has an 8-day prognosis for multiple contusions.

The latest threat to security on public transportation, this time on line 1 of the Milan Metro, where passengers and personnel were forced to call the police to stop an illegal immigrant of Nigerian origin who was threatening those present with a chain. The incident occurred around 18:15 on Friday, July 25th, on board one of the most occupied Metro lines, which crosses the city center, (and) one of the most utilized Metro lines during rush hour, when tourists and workers are moving through the city at the end of the day.

The man, who already had a police record, was arrested by officers of the National Police, but not before he succeeded in attacking them, reacting with violence toward those present in uniform. One of the police officers was violently struck, suffering multiple contusion trauma with an 8-day prognosis. Faced with the out-of-control behavior of the foreigner, the officers were forced to use a taser to stop him and get him into handcuffs to transport him to police headquarters, where he was processed. For him, the charges are resisting and injuries to a public official, and he will be prosecuted on a fast-track basis. It is possible that he will be issued an expulsion order with an escort to the border.

"Once again, we police, risking our lives and confronting danger, have stopped an extremely dangerous man, who, in all likelihood, some wicked teacher will try to justify as the result of non-integration, a legitimate act of protest" said Pasquale Griesi, secretary of Fsp, the police union. "The truth is that this gentleman should not have been in Italy, entering illegally. He should have been immediately expelled. We continue to maintain that the illegal entry in (Italy), besides being an established practice, is an ill-considered acceptance and that anybody, assuming they can circulate freely and illegally without problems can commit whatever crime, also attacking the lives of law enforcement and Italian citizens," the union leader concluded.

These incidents, unfortunately, are no longer isolated, and insecurity is not just a perception, in Milan as in other cities of the country, due to the presence of unruly, disoriented people with nothing to lose. The violence, the attacks, and the threats are multiplying so much that many citizens are voluntarily giving up their own liberty, even though it is a constitutionally recognized right, in order to safeguard their own safety.

More and more women are deciding not to go out at night, not to wear a certain piece of clothing, not to take public transportation because they fear for their own safety. Some parts of the city, after a certain hour, are implicitly off-limits to those who don't want problems. These are self-protective actions, which, in effect, restrict personal liberty.

France's Appeasement

This article first appeared in Times of Israel Blogs.

Emmanuel Macron

French President Emmanuel Macron seems to be trying to match the disastrous legacy left behind by Angela Merkel. One really has to wonder what the French are thinking these days. Just days after the announcement that everybody in Gaza was entitled to come and live in France, Macron has announced that France is recognizing a Palestinian state (which is not a state and has never been a state in the first place.) He might as well recognize the Bermuda Triangle as a state.

France is not the first country to make this clearly political move of recognizing the Palestinians. Over 100 countries have done so, but France is now the most important nation to do so. President Trump has already dismissed it in his usual manner, but countries like the UK and Germany will feel added pressure to follow suit. It is a particularly delicate situation for Germany, given its history and special relationship to Israel. In my view, Germany's international reputation would be seriously damaged if it recognized a Palestinian state while Israel is fighting for its survival.

What I find particularly objectionable in this move by France, especially the timing, is that it comes in the wake not just of the fighting in Gaza, but also in the wake of October 7, 2023. In effect, France is rewarding Hamas for one of the most horrific atrocities in modern history. It is also caving in to some of the most obnoxious and obscene protests on its streets, supporting Hamas. Similar protests-riots in most cases- are also being carried out in the streets of Germany, the UK, and other European cities. Attacks against Jews continue to rise all over Western Europe. Arguably, the worst example of this is in France, which has Europe's largest Jewish population as well as Europe's largest Muslim population. This recognition of a state of Palestine can only be interpreted as a craven submission to the Jew-haters, the supporters of Hamas, and Islamist supremacists. And to bring in who knows how many thousands of Palestinians from Gaza into France can only make the plight of France's Jews even more intolerable. No doubt, this will increase the number of French Jews who conclude that they have no future in France.

Of course, the French government will counter that this is all because of the horror they feel over what is happening in Gaza. I don't mean to trivialize the suffering of the civilian population in Gaza, especially the children. But I continue to hold Hamas responsible for this after what they did on October 7th. Hamas started it, and Israel is finishing it. To do so, Israel has to fight a vicious enemy that deliberately uses its civilians as shields. It is Hamas who is responsible for the death and destruction as they hide in their tunnels below schools and hospitals. It is Hamas that is responsible for the hunger since they have engaged in stealing the food meant for their own civilians.

Again, not to make light of the situation, but did the French feel any sympathy for the hundreds of thousands of German civilians who died in Allied air raids over virtually every major German city in World War 2? Of course not. Nor did the US and UK (since it was our two countries carrying out the bombing). Our leaders knew that civilians were dying in those air raids, but our countries were fighting for our very survival, not to mention the survival of France. Defeat was not an option. When the war was over, we helped rebuild Germany-as well as Japan, which was also bombed into destruction by the US, not just Hiroshima and Nagasaki, but Tokyo and other Japanese cities as well.

Returning to the subject of France. Personally, I have no axe to grind against the French people. I have visited the country many times, I  know the language, and I have always been treated well by the French. But these latest moves, for me, tend to reinforce the old stereotype about the French only being guided by their own cynical self-interest regardless of any concept of good vs. evil.  Macron's country is in deep trouble, largely due to the same forces that he is giving in to. If he thinks that those forces are going to feel appreciation and gratitude for these gestures and respond in kind, he is very foolish in his thinking. The opposite is true. Those people will only welcome these moves as a further sign of weakness on the part of France and the West in general. They don't reciprocate acts of kindness. They interpret them as signals to attack even more.

Who knows what the next bombshell out of France will be? Maybe Macron will announce that they are moving the capital from Paris to Vichy. It would be fitting given the current scene in Paris.

France: Socialist Party and the Term, "Islamophobia"

The Socialist Party in France, which as you might guess, is to the left, is currently undergoing a split over the use of the term, Islamophobia".  The below article appearing in the French blog, Marianne, explains what the disagreement within the party is all about. The question has relevance beyond France.

It should be noted that the term "Islamophobia" was contrived by Islamists who aimed to silence any criticism of Islam or discussion of any connection between terrorism and Islamic teaching.  The word is meant to stigmatize those who speak critically of Islam or certain Muslim groups or individuals. Not only is the word ambiguous as to the questions of hate, fear, (rational or irrational), but it is applied to people who do not hate Muslims as people, but who fear the encroachment of Islam within Western societies and what implications that has for our freedoms and traditional values.

The Socialists below who object to the term rightly point out that they are against hatred or discrimination against Muslims as people and fellow citizens. However, they see the problematic aspects of the term.

The article is translated by Fousesquawk.

"We Socialists continue to reject the term, Islamophobia"

- Collective column

Posted July 6, 2025 at 09:43

This column, signed by several officials of the Socialist Party (PS), including Jerome Guedj, Carole Delga, and Nicolas Mayer-Rossignol, argues aginst the use of the term, "Islamophobia", which appeared with the new leadership of the party and the creation pf a "National Secretariat in the fight against racism, anti-Semitism, and Islamophobia," a term that is politicized and ambiguous, from which the PS had, until now, kept its distance.

The creation of a "National Secretariat in the fight against racism, anti-Semitism, and Islamophobia" concerns us deeply. It marks a worrisome turn in the evolution of our party.

We, however, have collectively rejected, debated, and discarded the term, Islamophobia. Not out of ignorance of attacks and discrimination that impact some of our fellow citizens of the Muslim culture and faith-which we fight against tirelessly, but because the word "Islamophobia" is ambiguous, politicized, and often misused to question the very fundamentals of our Republican pact.

In November 2019, the National Office of the PS had made the decision with lucidity not to participate in the so-called "March Against Islamophobia", in view of the confusion surrounding this word, the presence of people advocating the rejection of secularization, and because the organizers, beyond the legitimate criticism of anti-Muslim violence (during the time of the burning of the Bayonne mosque), had as their theme, the denunciation of the liberticide laws of 2004 and 2010.

In December 2022, a column in Le Monde, signed by Olivier Faure, Corinne Narassiguin, and Jerome Guedj, explained why the Socialist Party should stay away from this trap word.

In 2025, at the heart of the 81st Congress, the National Secularization Commission, led by Jerome Guedj, produced a document that was demanding and clear. It reiterated that the fight against anti-Muslim racism should be inscribed within a universal framework, without capitulating to the demands of those who would like to make religion a political criterion.

This document was signed by Yannick Trigance, Mathieu Klein, Corinne Narassiguin, Fanny Pidoux, Isabelle Santiago, Samira Laal, and Luc Broussy, respected comrades, today named to the National Directorate.

And in the same Congress of Nancy, none of the 3 orientation texts submitted to the vote of the activists used this term.

Contradiction

How could our comrades accept today that the National Secretariat uses precisely this term that they themselves opposed in a thematic contribution in the Congress and deliberately ignored in all of the general contributions, preferring to talk about the scope of anti-Muslim racism? The contradiction deeply calls into question the coherence of our political line.

Unfortunately, since the NFP agreement of July 2024, where this term was used, our line of clarity has been blurred on successive occasions. The tragedy of the death of Aboubacar Cisse has been used to impose the term "Islamophobia" in the public space, within an emotional and confusing logic. The only argument used is that of the obviousness of the word in public debate. We are convinced, on the contrary, that our role is to explain this misuse and its instrumentalization. That is why the attachment of the choice of the word is not symbolic, and that speaking of anti-Muslim racism, of anti-Muslim hatred, or Muslimphobia seems to us more appropriate to guarantee the effectiveness of the anti-racist fight that we are waging.

Today, however, it is a National Secretariat of our party that carries this name and thus, validates it. We denounce this evolution that, far from uniting the forces of the left on Republican bases, validates the themes of an identity and communitarian left, which distorts anti-racism and weakens secularization.

We consistently affirm:

We fight all forms of racism, and particularly, hate and discrimination targeting our compatriots of the Muslim religion, real or imagined. At a time when anti-Muslim acts are exploding (+75% since the beginning of the year), we reaffirm the full solidarity of the national community and our desire for resolute action to prevent and severely punish these acts. Finally, we also hope for a genuine public policy against racial discrimination, in access to employment, in housing, to public and private services (there is too little condemnation for discrimination), training, and prevention.

We do not accept that criticism of a religion be equated with racism, nor that fundamental principles like secularism, freedom of expression, and the right to blaspheme be characterized or presented as "Islamophobic". It is in the name of this accusation that the cartoonists of Charlie Hebdo were massacred, including Charb, whose "Letter to the Islamophobia scammers who play the racists' game". should be read again more than ever. It was in the name of this accusation of Islamophobia that Samuel Paty was thrown to the wolves. It is with this word that the laws of the Republic, like those of 1905 and 2004, are vilified.

Throughout the Congress, we maintained a clear and dignified line, faithful to Republican universalism, without ever surrendering to the stigmatizing hijacking by the extreme right against Muslims, or the communitarian deviations of a certain left.

We remain convinced that the Socialist Party will not rebuild itself on ambiguities. We still believe that clarity is not a luxury but a necessity to rally the left.

This is why we hope that a debate will take place at the next National Bureau of the Socialist Party. To feed the necessary debate within society.

Reminders of Kristallnacht in Germany

Jewish citizens and supporters forming human chain in front of the Munich synagogue
-World Israel News

On July 18 in Munich, Jewish citizens and their supporters formed a protective human chain around their synagogue as today's new Nazis (pro-Hamas supporters) held a raucous demonstration close by. For Germany, of all nations, the optics were terrible and brought back memories of the Night of Broken Glass (Kristallnacht) in 1938 when Stormtroopers rampaged through German cities, breaking into Jewish businesses, homes, and places of worship, hauling Jews off in the dead of night, and in some cases murdering them. As synagogues burned, German police and firefighters stood watching and making sure that the fires did not spread to other buildings.

This time, the German police were on hand at the synagogue in Munich in a more protective mode. Yet, the symbolism could not have been greater, as the pro-Hamas crowd chanted, "death to the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces), waving their obnoxious, obscene, actually, Palestinian flags and wearing their equally obscene Palestinian keffiyahs. Fortunately, the Jews and their synagogue were spared violence and destruction at the hands of Germany's new Nazis.

While not ignoring the fact that Germany is still dealing with young, white, skinhead types who are referred to as Neo-Nazis, to me, the greater threat is coming from those who support Hamas and the Palestinian cause, which is to destroy the Jewish state of Israel and its citizens. While every Western country, including the US, has its share of knuckleheads and Jew haters who have jumped on the Hamas bandwagon since October 7, 2023, seemingly inspired by the horrific violence carried out that day by Hamas, Germany has a special interest and responsibility to avoid anti-Semitic violence. For the benefit of our US-based, college-indoctrinated pro-Palestinian activists, I am referring to the Holocaust. If you have never heard of it, you might want to Google it.

Ever since the end of World War 2, Germany and its citizens, including generations born after the war, have been saddled with the shame of what happened to the Jews while Hitler was in power. To be sure, once Germany began occupying other countries in the war, they had their share of local satraps, all too willing to help carry out the mass murder of their own Jews. But the inspiration and the direction came from the German government and its occupation leaders.

Thus, the Germans (at least the West Germans when the country was divided) have spent decades and generations trying to atone for their nation's crimes. Indeed, I would argue that Germany had succeeded in rejoining the family of decent, democratic nations. Not only were reparations being paid to victims and survivors of the Holocaust, but Germany supported Israel and its right to exist while passing strict laws designed to prevent a recurrence of Nazism and anti-Semitic acts.

But in 2015, with the Syrian civil war raging, then-Chancellor Angela Merkel, who had become one of Europe's leading political figures, opened the floodgates to refugees while pushing her European counterparts to do the same. The result was millions of overwhelmingly young, male men from Syria and other Muslim countries pouring into Germany and the rest of Western Europe. They almost all claimed to be refugees from something. Nobody knew who they were or how old they were. Far too many of them came for the wrong reasons: They were either fleeing police after committing crimes in their home countries. looking for a life of welfare, plotting to commit terrorism, or simply to commit crimes, drug dealing, assaults, robberies, rapes, and murder. The result has been sky-high social welfare costs, unprecedented violence, crimes, acts of random terror, and the tearing of the social fabric. Jews, particularly, have been made to feel unsafe. The German government, like other Western European governments, has been unable and/or unwilling to stop the flood and remove the troublemakers.

In addition, we now add the explosion in the Israel-Palestinian conflict, October 7th, and the war in Gaza. Not only did the new arrivals bring a centuries-old, religiously-inspired hatred of Jews, but many of them are fully prepared to join the mobs marching in support of Hamas, screaming for the deaths of Jews in a land where that was once the order of the day, and, ironically, in a land where calling for that and the open display of the swastika today are illegal.

When Merkel was chancellor and implementing the admission of millions of these people, her slogan was, "Wir schaffen das" (We can do this). Of course, what she envisioned was that all these people would integrate, assimilate, become Germans, adopt German values, fill jobs, and pay their taxes to support the country's welfare system. In that, she failed. What she succeeded in doing was importing an entire new generation of Jew-haters, who would bring back the ugly memories of Kristallnacht and the persecution of Jews. Had Merkel had any common sense, she would have realized that before she opened her country's borders, and led the movement for her Western European counterparts to do the same. (I specify Western Europe because, ironically enough, it is the Eastern European members of the European Union who are resisting mass migration. Being recently freed from the shackles of communism, they want no part of what they see happening in Western Europe. Who can blame them?)

For decades since World War 2, the world-and Germany itself- have spoken of that country's "special responsibility" to Israel and the Jewish people, to be a leader in fighting anti-Semitism and preventing its return to Germany.  That hardly squares with the scenes we are now witnessing in places like Munich, Berlin, and other cities where Jews cannot walk the streets wearing Jewish garb lest they be attacked, not so much by German skinheads as by people who have been "imported", people who have zero sensitivity for Germany's history and special responsibility. To be sure, Germany is not the only country that is importing its anti-Semitism and making its own Jews unsafe. But the spectacle we just saw in Munich carries a visual impact much greater than if it were to occur (as it does) in any other country. I would hope that Germany's leaders would remember that fact and strongly act upon it.

Germany: Protective Human Chain Formed to Protect Munich Synagogue from the Latter-Day Nazis

On July 18 in Munich, the very birthplace of Nazism, the pro-Hamas mobs held yet another disgusting pro-Hamas, anti-Israel/anti-Semitic demonstation, in which they chanted, "death to the IDF" (Israeli Defense Forces). The scene of the demonstration was very close to a synagogue, around which supporters of the Jewish community formed a protective human chain. The above video was produced by the Juedische Forum fuer Demokratie und gegen Anti-Semitismus (Jewish Forum for Democracy and Against Anti-Semitism). Hat tip Gates of Vienna and Vlad Tepes

Vilvoorde, Belgium

On Thursday evening, in the Belgian town of Vilvoorde (Flanders-Brabant) a 24-year-old male was arrested after fleeing from police on a moped. The chase ended when he collided with a police van. The next evening, a riot broke out in the town. Four officers were injured and nine people were arrested. The following day (Saturday), the rider of the moped was re-arrested on suspicion of being involved in the riots the night before.

The article below from HLN.Be is translated from Dutch by Fousesquawk.

Riots in Vilvoorde: Police arrest the moped rider with whom it all started.

The 24-year-old moped rider who was involved in a controversial collision with a police van on Thursday evening in Vilvoorde, Flemish-Brabant, was arrested again on Saturday afternoon at the station. According to the public prosecutor's office, he was arrested on suspicion of involvement in the serious riots that played out in the area of the station.

At the moment of his arrest, the man was at the station with a group of young people who wanted to engage in conversations with shopkeepers and residents of the area about the violence of the night before. Several police teams then came to the scene to arrest the young man. He was placed in handcuffs and taken away in the police van.

"I can confirm that this person is under arrest," says Ingrid Moriau, spokesperson for the public prosecutor's office of Halle-Vilvoorde. "He was arrested within the framework of the riots that took place yesterday in Vilvoorde. He allegedly participated." Nothing is yet known as to the nature of his alleged involvement or the evidence. The investigation is ongoing.

The moped rider was injured in a collision with a police vehicle on the night of Thursday into Friday on Lange Molenstraat (street). That happened when the officers tried to corner him in a chase. Video images from the incident went viral and caused great anger, especially among young people. On Friday night, riots broke out in the area around Vilvoorde station. Nine people were arrested after the fact. Four officers were also injured. The seven suspects who are being referred to the public prosecutor's office of Halle-Vilvoorde in connection with the riots in Vilvoorde, i.e., five adults and two minors, will be brought before the investigating judge and the juvenile judge, respectively. The moped rider will also be brought to court.

France: Another Jew Attacked on the Street

Just another statistic. Just another Jew attacked on a street in France by unknown assailants (who spoke Arabic). Joseph Attal, a 73-year-old Jewish man walking to his synagogue on the outskirts of Paris, and wearing a kippa when he was attacked by 4 men speaking Arabic. One of whom pushed him to the sidewalk and called him a "dirty Jew".

The below article by Jean-Patrick Grumberg for Dreuz.info is translated by Fousesquawk. It is dripping with anger and indignation, as it should.

Parisian suburb- Jew attacked by Muslims-Media blocks information

-By Jean-Patrick Grumberg

20 July 2025

Saturday, 12 July, in the morning around 8 am, Joseph Attal was going to the synagogue on rue Celine Robert in Vincennes-Saint Mandé in the Paris region.

His mistake, in this France which has abandoned its Jews to the anti-Semitism of Muslim origin, and given the unleashing of media hate and its incitement against Israel: He was wearing a kippa. While crossing the rue des Vallees and Avenue Quihou in Saint-Mandé, he saw 4 men speaking Arabic. One of them came up to him and caused him to stumble to the ground.

Joseph walks with difficulty due to pins in his back (following an accident in 2023).

While crossing Avenue Quihou, a hand was placed on his shoulder. He first thinks someone wants to help him step onto the sidewalk, but he is then pushed violently to the ground.

Joseph, 73, falls and his head hits the concrete. During the blow, his attacker calls him a "dirty Jew."

Two women, helpless witnesses, arrive to help Joseph: One places her handbag under his head, the other calls emergency responders.

Joseph Attal was transported to Bégin Hospital in Saint-Mandé. Diagnosis: Head trauma, stitches, hematoma, wounds, black eye, contusions, scan etc. A medical exam is scheduled and includes a medical-judicial meeting at Creteil Hospital to evaluate his incapacity for work and psychological impact.

Caption: Joseph Attal, of course, has filed a complaint. Without much hope.

Joseph is just a number in the frightening statistics, for which the government makes comforting promises and zero action. In France, during the period from January to May 2025, 504 anti-Semitic acts have been recorded. The media, infernal machines of these incitements to attack Jews with their perpetual lies and their fake news on Israel, accept no responsibility.

Unless I am in error- please let me know and I will publish a correction-no media has reported this attack. Why? Because the victim clearly identified the ethnic origin of the attackers?

CHAR, the Association against anti-Semitism and Racism, which is assisting the victim, is demanding that the perpetrators of this crime be found, prosecuted, and punished without the slightest leniency. The CRIF (Representative Council of Jewish Institutions in France), SOS Racism, and LICRA (International League against racism and anti-Semitism), as always, are absent.

Italy: American Tourist Stabbed on Train in Milan

Hat tip Gates of Vienna and Vlad Tepes

-Libero Quotidiano

Milano Post

On July 15, an American tourist was attacked by three men he described as "Moroccans" or North Africans. The men robbed him and stabbed him, leaving him covered in blood as they fled at the next station in the Milan area. The victim was transported to a hospital and is out of danger.

This news is now being reported in the US press. The article below from the Italian site, Virgilio, is translated by Fousesquawk.

Also note, there is a video that has been put on social media, apparently by a witness that shows the victim seated on the platform being treated by emergency personnel. According to the written article, the man, who speaks Italian, says to emergency personnel, "I don't want to die." This apparently is cut off at the start of the tape. You can hear a man saying those words at the end of the tape, but it almost certainly is the person putting the video online. There are a few English subtitles on the tape but not all are accurate or in sync with the audio. We care in the process of putting our own English subtitles that are in sync with the audio.

The investigators are at work to identify those responsible for the violent attack and robbery against a tourist from New York, who was stabbed in Milan on board the Melegnano-Bovisa train.  A video has also been disseminated on the web in which are seen the moments of terror for the young American, who is asking for help, and covered in blood immediately after the attack.

Reconstruction of the attack on the American tourist

According to the witness testimony of the Melegnano-Bovisa  train conductor and initial reconstruction by the investigators, it was allegedly a group of North Africans, 3 or 4, who stabbed the American tourist on July 15.

A knife was reportedly held to his throat, and then he was wounded in the neck and shoulder. Specifically, the most worrisome wound was inflicted by the blow that passed through his left shoulder reaching his right (shoulder).

The violent attack preceded the theft of a gold chain that the American tourist was wearing. The criminals reportedly then fled quickly, getting off at the San Giuliano Milanese station.

Surveillance cameras at the station are being examined to identify any details relevant to the identity of the attackers, and several passengers who would have been present at the scene are being interviewed.

The American tourist was transported to the Vizzolo Predabisi hospital.

The video of the robbery

In the video that was disseminated on social media from Welcome to Favelas, the American tourist is seen being treated by 118 (emergency) personnel.

The man, on the ground, is supported by a pillar.

Trembling from what he experienced and completely covered in blood, he barely manages to explain what happened to him.

"I don't want to die," are the first words said that can be heard in the video. Then he indicates where he was struck, talking about three Moroccans who stabbed him.

Finally, he explains that he has only his phone and wallet and left his suitcase on the train.

Matteo Salvini's post on the robbery at San Giuliano Milanese

The Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Matteo Salvini, released a statement on social media on the robbery that happened at San Giuliano Milanese.

The politician has written on his several social profiles. "Rather than tolerance, do-goodism, and free citizenship, Jail and a one-way ticket for these criminals. Send them home."

France: Rioting in Limoges

-Limoges

You will never guess what happened in Limoges, France last night.

-Le Monde

What happened was that about 100 young men engaged in a riot in which police were lured into the Val de l'Aurence quarter of the city by a burning dumpster and then attacked when they responded. The same thing had happened 5 days previously.

-Sudouest

As is usual with the European media, there is no real description of the perpetrators, but the Val de l'Aurence quarter of Limoges is one of those areas to avoid, and the attackers were surely not French youths.

The article below from Le Populaire is translated by Fousesquawk.

New night of urban violence in Limoges: 10 police officers injured and civilians attacked

Five days after an initial night of urban violence in Limoges, a new ambush was set for police, and new, more violent scenes of confrontations took place during the night. Ten police officers were injured, and civilian cars were damaged. "A night of organized, urban warfare," says the mayor of Limoges, in conjunction with the Minister of Interior, Bruno Retailleau, after this urban violence.

Caption: New night of riots in the quarter of Val de l'Aurence

A "copy and paste", more violent and more traumatizing. Less than a week after an initial night of urban violence in the quarter of Val de l'Aurence in Limoges, when two police officers were injured and an ambush was set for police with a dumpster fire, the scene was reenacted during the night of Friday, 18 (July) to Saturday, 19 July.

Shortly before 1 am on Saturday, some individuals began by stealing a vehicle and attacking the owners of the vehicle before setting it on fire a little further on, on rue Irene and Frederic Joliot-Cune, in the Val de l'Aurence quarter of Limoges.

A new ambush was awaiting the firefighters and police arriving at the scene, where more than 100 young people then emerged armed with iron bars, baseball bats, fireworks, rocks, and Molotov cocktails.

Barricades were set up on both sides of RN 141, preventing vehicles from entering or leaving Limoges.

10 Police officers injured in the confrontations

"It is no longer just an attack against police as it was Monday, but also an attack against the people of Limoges," stated Laurent Nadeau, Department Secretary of the National Police Alliance union in Limoges. "For us, there is anger, but also a lot of worry. Hooded, armed youths, (and) we have reached a (new) level of violence".

According to law enforcement, 10 police officers were injured in the confrontations that lasted almost 2 hours, 9 from hearing (ringing in ears) caused by fireworks, and 1 in the hand.

Contacted by us Saturday morning, the mayor of Limoges, Emile Roger Lombertie, denounced this second night of violence within a few days. "Last night was organized urban warfare. I had alerted the prefecture at the beginning of the week that this would happen again. For 30 years, we have constantly allowed this. One tries to find reasons for each night of this kind, but it is a lawless situation."

Reinforcements expected Saturday evening

Emile Roger Lombertie, who spoke with Bruno Retailleau, Minister of Interior, Saturday morning, is giving assurances that reinforcements will arrive Saturday evening with the CRS-8, the elite ultra-mobile unit specialized in urban riots.

Last night, a surveillance and intervention platoon of the Gendarmerie (Psig), municipal police, and local police arrived in reinforcement to confront and respond to the delinquent youth. More than 100  self-defense ball launcher cartridges (LBD) and tear gas canisters were used by law enforcement.

An investigation has been opened by the prosecutor's office

No arrests have taken place as yet. In a press release posted Saturday in the late afternoon, the Public Prosecutor of Limoges. Emilie Abrantes, stated that "8 complaints have been received," and that,

"motorists have reported having been attacked by several hooded individuals who damaged their vehicles with blows from baseball bats," Some vehicles were occupied by minor children in the back. An investigation has been opened by the public prosecutor's office for "participation in a gathering with weapons, violence against police officers, aggravated extortion, and damage by organized gangs to the property of others by dangerous means."

For Laurent Nadeau, "this violence is gratuitous, without any motive. This morning (Saturday), we have dozens of complaints in our office, a student who has lost her car and will not be reimbursed, families who have seen their windows damaged, which is regrettable and worrisome." A press release posted by the police union, Alliance Police, protests against these traps set for police, an illustration of a manifest desire to undermine the order of the Republic.

The mayor of Limoges, who says he is, "just as worried as the people of Limoges," finds it, "tragic to see young people devastated and lost to themselves and to France.

In a press release posted mid-day Saturday, the prefect of Haute-Vienne, Francois Pesneau, "condemns the events that occurred last night in the strongest terms," and states that "the crowd was completely dispersed around 4 am." Before adding: "Judicial investigations are underway under the authority of the Public Prosecutor of Limoges to identify the perpetrators and bring them to justice [....] calling for a strong reaction from the public powers". Finally, the prefect confirms reinforcements deployed during the night Saturday-Sunday in the Val de l"Aurence querter, at the heart of debate for several days.
