Suspect tentatively identified as Chris Jude from Nigeria has confessed
Last August, a 17-year-old girl identified only as Lisa was attacked and murdered as she was riding her bike home on the outskirts of Amsterdam.
In September, we reported that Dutch police had a suspect in custody but had no idea who he was. Assistance was being requested from Nigerian police to identify him. The suspect was also suspected of being involved in a rape that occurred a few days previously in the same area.
In February 2026, it was reported that the suspect had confessed, but he could only identify himself as "Chris Jude" (last name unknown).
We are attempting to obtain the final disposition of this case.
The article below from Vandaag Inside.nl dated November 21, 2025 is translated by Fousesquawk.

The police are still trying to bring clarity to the background of the suspect in the case concerning the murder of Lisa from Abcoude. Het Parool has uncovered an extensive investigation into what he has told the police about his life.
According to Het Parool, the suspect has no official (confirmed) last name. He calls himself "Chris Jude", which he says are the two given names he received during a difficult childhood in various orphanages. He claims to be 22 years old, an age based on a birthdate assigned to him over the course of time, while it is almost for sure that this cannot be his true birthdate.
During countless interrogations, Chris Jude has consistently given the same bleak life story, a series of setbacks and abandonments. But whether this story is largely true is hard to determine. At any rate, the necessary details are missing.
He will appear for the first time before the judge in the court on Parnassusweg in Amsterdam-South on November 25 during a so-called pro forma hearing in the criminal case, named Areca. It will probably be a short time frame before the case is tried.
