Sweden: Shot(s) Reportedly Fired at Israeli Embassy

With everything else going on today, this may or may not be something. This evening in Stockholm, shots were reported at the Israeli embassy. Police have responded and have, according to one report, found a weapon and at least one empty shell casing. That is not confirmed by police. At this point, there are no injuries reported and nobody has been arrested.

Crime: On Tuesday evening, a report came in of a shooting at Israel's embassy in Stockholm.

"Nobody has been found injured in the area," says Nadya Norton, police spokesperson.

A police operation is underway Tuesday at Israel's embassy in Stockholm.

"A bang was reportedly heard in the area. We are there, checking, and conducting investigative work," says Nadya Norton, police spokesperson.

According to Expressen's information, a weapon and at least one empty shell casing have been found.

"Whether any findings have been made, we are not commenting at this time," says Nadya Norton.

She says that police are at the scene talking to witnesses and checking the (surveillance) cameras in the area.

Nobody has been found injured in the area.

*Update- 10-1-2024. GP's latest report is that police have confirmed that they have made "findings" at the scene which indicate that the embassy building was hit with gunfire.
