The village of Ter Apel in the Netherlands is the site of an asylum center for asylum-seekers. For a couple of years now, we have been reporting on the complaints from the residents about the behavior of many of the aylum-seekers. There have long been complaints of destruction, shoplifting and harassment of bus drivers.
On Saturday, Dutch politician, Geert Wilders, who for years has lived under tight security because of his opposition to Islamic migration into the country, visited Ter Apel and spoke to the residents to express his support and demand that the government do more to ensure the safety of the residents.
