UCLA Under Investigation for Anti-Semitism

Hat tip Frontpage Magazine and Allan

As has been reported here and elsewhere, UCLA has been a hotbed of pro-Palestinian agitation for years. The result has been a surge in anti-Semitic expressions and incidents, all of which the school administration has studiously white-washed.

Now an investigation has been launched by the Dept. of Education, Office of Civil Rights, in response to recent complaints. This is a welcome development. I am cross-posting an article in this week's Frontpage Magazine blog by Sara Dogan.

"As the Freedom Center has voiced in numerous articles and reports, and in direct action taken on college campuses, Students for Justice in Palestine is funded by the anti-Israel terrorist organization Hamas, whose goal, as stated in its charter, is the genocide of the Jews and the destruction of the Jewish state. Hamas uses SJP and its collegiate network to promote the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel on campuses across the United States.
Hamas, for its part, employs a network of Islamic “charities” and front groups, most notably the organization American Muslims for Palestine (AMP), to funnel large sums of cash and provide external support to assist SJP chapters in promoting the genocidal and anti-Semitic BDS movement at American colleges."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The above allegation is significant. It has been well-documented that SJP and AMP were co-founded by the same individuals, most significantly-as mentioned in the article- by UC Berkeley professor Hatem Bazian. Hamas is designated by the US Dept. of State as a terrorist organization. If, indeed, these two organizations are working with Hamas, and if Hamas is funneling money to SJP through AMP, then this is a matter for investigation not only by the Dept. of Education, but the Justice Department as well.
