BLM Celebrates Memorial Day (Without Whites)

Hat tip to the late, great Jim Healy for the sound bytes

Last week, Tucker Carlson reported on his Fox News show that Black Lives Matter had organized a Memorial Day celebration and announced that whites were not welcome. His guest, Lisa Durden, a BLM supporter, explained the rationale.

Isn't it amazing that some people like Durden seem determined to take us back to the days of segregation? I simply don't get it.

Boo hoo to you too. As the late Steven Biko said, "This is my country. I go where I like." Ain't nobody "white" except lepers and albinos. And the "identity" now known as "black" is going to have to be dropped too -- it was IMPOSED by people who thought of themselves as "white." Nobody in Africa called themselves "black."

But to clear up the confusion, there have ALWAYS been people of dark skin color who were OPPOSED to racial integration. In the 1950s and early 1960s they were black "conservatives," like the president of the National Baptist Convention. From about 1965 on, many of them were "militants." But they have drunk the Kool-Aid of LIKING the identity massa foisted on them.

Anyway, my family tree, like most Americans, is tri-racial. So, again, I go wherever I like.
