Ever since a conservative student videotaped a professor making crazy statements about Trump and his election, the backlash has continued at Orange Coast College in California. Here is an update from The College Fix.

What Fousesquawk is NOT covering is the continuing turmoil in the House of Representatives, where the GOP can't cobble together a majority to do anything about the Affordable Care Act, because enough congress critters are from districts where they could lose their seats if they vote to repeal what people are coming to realize is on balance a beneficial law, and enough other congress critters are die-hards who won't settle for any replace, only status quo ante (however disastrous). So our president says its all because 'We didn't get any Democratic votes.' (Duh-uh. You didn't ask for any Democratic amendments.)
So, as Paul Ryan said with surprising honesty, "Obamacare remains the law of the land." Praise the Lord!
One reason I am not covering it is that I don't know enough about it to say whether it was good or bad. I will say this: The Republicans promised us that if they got the House, if they got the Senate and then the WH, they would overturn Obamacare. They had 7 years to come up with a better plan. And they blew it. They are incompetent.
This is why I am not a Republican.
