No matter how bad things get in Germany, Angela Merkel puts a happy face on it. Below is a clip of her New Years message and a spoof thereof, which I think is quite funny.
It all reminds me of a clip from Leni Riefenstahl's documentary of the 1934 Nuremberg Party rallies (Triumpf des Willens) in which Rudolf Hess introduces Hitler.
"The party is Hitler, but Hitler is Germany and Germany is Hitler. Sieg Heil."
In other words, what goes around comes around. ( I guess.)

Wasn't Rudolph Hess an illegal immigrant to Scotland?
Of sorts, and he was really punished once he was caught, wasn't he? He never did get out of immigration jail.
