Hatem Bazian's Latest BS

Hat tip American Thinker and Campus Watch

Hatem Bazian: A picture is worth a thousand words.

Michael Lumish reports on UC Berkeley professor Hatem Bazian's latest pack of lies regarding Israel.

If I may add to a couple of Lumish's points: Zaytuna College to be accurate, occupies rental space in a brick building a couple of blocks off the UC Berkeley campus. You have to ring the buzzer to gain admittance. (No, there isn't a peephole through the door, but I think you have to say, "Joe sent me" or something like that.)

As for the Islamophobia Research and Documentation Center, if you are expecting something along the lines of a museum, you will be disappointed. It occupies a broom closet in room 638 of Barrows Hall. When I checked it out nobody was there, of course.

That's me at the door of the IRDC.

As for the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin al Husseini, this charming fellow also spent the years of WW II as Hitler's guest in Berlin, from which he made radio broadcasts to the Middle East exhorting his followers to expel the Jews. Along more concrete lines, he also helped form a Bosnian SS brigade.

And finally, let us not forget that Bazian guy also co-founded one of the most insidious student groups in the history of American academia with Students for Justice in Palestine, a bunch of Brown Shirts who use tactics of bullying, and intimidation against Jewish students. The fact that they have a few oddball Jewish people in their ranks and work hand in hand with Jewish Voice for Peace, does not lesson their culpability.

UC Berkeley is packed to the gills with misfit professors who are an embarrassment to  the flagship campus of the University of California. However, none of them surpasses Hatem Bazian in bringing discredit to UC Berkeley.
