Public Education in Pakistan

Hat tip Jihad Watch

Lahore, Pakistan was the scene in which over 70 people, at least half of whom were women and children, were killed on Easter Day while they were celebrating the Christian holiday in a park.

It is hardly surprising that Muslim extremists in Pakistan would commit of act of barbarity against Christians. After all, this is what they are taught as children in public schools. There is an informative article in the Christian Science Monitor, which was cross-posted by Jihad Watch.

How often do we hear people in the US say that education is the key to combating hate, especially when referring to Islamophobia? But how do we combat this kind of hate, which is a product of education?
