John Kerry Finally States the Obvious: It is Genocide

Hat tip Truth Revolt

"Is it too late to get on board?"

After letters and petitions, as well as a unanimous vote by the House of Representatives this week, Secretary of State John Kerry finally declared that Christians (and Yazidis and Shi'ites) are the object of genocide in the Middle East.

While this does not obligate the US to take any action, one can at least hope that it will lead us to admit more Christians as refugees instead of concentrating so much on their persecutors.

That's silly. Follow the leader. Play along with the popular fad. The root word of genocide is "genus." Religious persecution can and does cross genetic and tribal and national lines. Daesh welcomes anyone of any race, color, or national origin who adheres to their own unique narrow brand of Islam. They are happy to kill anyone of any race, color, or national origin who does not. That's all kinds of evil, but to reduce "genocide" to a convenient epithet like this is foolish, and, I might add, liberal.
