Six Passengers Force Diversion of Chicago-San Diego Flight

Southwest Airlines passengers detained

"Heigh ho, heigh ho
It's off to jail they go.

Apparently, a 23-member soccer team flying from Chicago to San Diego got unruly. It got to the point that the flight was diverted to Amarillo where 6 of them were arrested and removed from the plane.

I can't wait for the follow up to this story. Will we be hearing from CAIR? (The men have Middle Eastern names.) Will they claim profiling and Islamophobia? Did the passengers and flight crew fear a hijacking?  Was this a staged set-up designed to draw a response?

I don't know the answer to any of those questions.

*Update: A reader informs me the men are Assyrians (Christians). See comment section.

"The team was traveling to Chicago to play in games sponsored by the 82nd annual Assyrian Convention."

Assyrians are Christians.

Wise Up Fouse. Wise Up.

Ah, which explains the lack of a response by CAIR. Thanks for the followup.

BTW: You missed the part where I said I don't know the answers to the questions.

I still condemn the actions of the men.

We should never have let these Christians into America. They don't even know how to behave on an airplane. And they're ALL like that.
