I have said many times that there is no group of people I admire more than black conservatives. They not only have common sense but courage as well. For them to take the positions they take means that they are going to be called "Uncle Toms", one of the nastiest slurs there is.
One of those persons is a young woman named Chloe Valdary, who came into prominence lately as a student at the University of New Orleans, when she stood up and defended Israel. To be sure she has endured the same insult both from black activists and from white radicals as well. Now she has joined with other black conservatives in condemning efforts by Black Lives Matters folks and other black activists to link their own "struggle" with the Palestinian cause. Algemeiner has the report.
"Signatories included political activist Angela Davis; philosopher Cornel West; journalist Rosa Clemente; death row inmate Mumia Abu-Jamal; rapper Talib Kweli; Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors; and 39 affiliated organizations."
When you see Cornel West and Angela Davis signing the same document as cop-killer Mumia Abu Jamal, that tells you all you need to know about these two professors at Princeton and UC Santa Cruz respectively. (Abu Jamal's death sentence has unfortunately been reduced to life in prison.) I have no idea who the other people are. They should take a lesson from people like Valdary.
