It is not only in the US where politicians have been caught lying a lot lately. It also happens in Norway. Gates of Vienna has a 2011 clip where the then-foreign minister of Norway, Jonas Gahr Støre denies having spoken on the phone with a Hamas leader after said Hamas leader had confirmed phone contacts.

And this guy is slated to become prime minister of Norway in 2017? He and Hillary Clinton will make quite a pair if she moves into the White House in 2017.
