Last Christmas, a mosque in the Swedish city of Eskiltuna was hit by a fire. BBC had the report.
In response, Swedes took to the streets to demonstrate against the attack. Swedish officials, like the culture minister, condemned the attack as police continued their investigation and search for the perpetrator(s).
But now, Dear Readers, I can report that the case has been cracked.
"A blaze at a mosque in Eskilstuna in central Sweden that injured five people on Christmas Day was caused not by a firebomb but by an overheated deep fryer, a police source told a local newspaper."
Note to the Islamophobia Research and Documentation Center at UC Berkeley: This is one case you can close-and burn the reports.
