Obama's Big Summit on Violent Extremism

Hat tip Daily Caller and Bizpac Review

Big Summit

President Obama, under severe criticism that he didn't attend the Paris demonstration or at least send someone higher than his ambassador to France, is now calling his own summit-on "violent extremism". Given the torturous explanations of what violent extremism is by his press secretary, Josh Earnest and State Department Deputy Press Secretary Marie Harf, we are left to wonder exactly what they are going to talk about. Frankly, I have no clue, but I can possibly throw out some guesses.

Maybe they are going to talk about the violent extremism of the Tea Party. The problem is, however, I can't think of one single violent incident linked to the Tea Party.

Maybe they're going to talk about all those right-wing, white, Christian groups and Iraq/Afghanistan war veterans that Janet Napolitano was talking about when she was running DHS (into the ground).

I guess they could talk about the KKK except-gee- are they still in existence anymore? Last I heard, practically their entire membership was made up of FBI snitches.

"OK, who's the snitch?"

How about violent extremists like ex-Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice?

Maybe they're going to discuss the Ferguson Police Department. the NYPD or George Zimmerman.

How about violent, extremist Islam? I suppose it will get a mention, but probably they will have somebody like Muzammil Siddiqi, who will participate and tell them that Islam is a religion of peace, and that will be it.

And how much do you want to bet that Al Sharpton will be there?

Beer anyone?
