Al Gore Wants to Spend $90 Trillion to Ban Cars From Big Cities

Hat tip Daily Caller

"Calderon and Gore made their presentation at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland where, ironically (or maybe not, at this point), some 1,700 private jets — which use petroleum — were used to shuttle in conference participants and others to discuss global warming and other pressing global issues."

What a life Al Gore has. He jumps on his private jet and hops on over to places like Davos, Switzerland to participate in confabs that come up with ways to limit the carbon footprint of folks like you and me. What about his own carbon footprint.

And former Mexican president Felipe Calderon? Sure. He has the answers. Two words for him.

Mexico City.

I wouldn't be surprised if Calderon was residing in Davos.

This guy Gore is a very dangerous man. Not only does he have crazy ideas about the environment, in my view, he is just plain crazy. Can you imagine if he had gotten  a few hundred more votes in Florida? This doof would be our president and who knows what he would be forcing upon us.

You gotta remember that even after the 2000 debacle, whatever one might think about the Clinton impeachment, if it had resulted in his removal, we would also have had this doofus as "President Gore", obviously worse than Clinton in just about every, if in fact not every, respect. Given the timing, Gore would have been able to run for two (2) additional full terms, and would likely have won the first, and quite possibly the second, election.

Much the same with Obama Himself. No really serious efforts to impeach him, and even if he was impeached, he would not be removed either. If he was removed, however, then we would have President Biden. I know it is hard to imagine anyone worse than Obama, but Biden (and Hillary??) might come close, or at least possibly be equally bad.

As dopey as Biden is he would be more moderate than Obama. In addition, I think Biden loves America. Obama doesn't. I don't think Biden would intentionally pursue policies that weaken this country (that much).

Yeh, you are probably correct, guess I just got a little worked up?? It may be because I think Gore is just about as big a mope as Michael Moore, and went from there.

I refrained from voting for Al Gore in 2000, because I thought we were being offered a choice of "Anti-Christ vs. The Blob." George Bush, who reminded me of Dameion in Omen III, was the former. Al Gore, the one-time pro-life congressman from Tennessee, the conservative Democrat running against Michael Dukakis in 1988, was, of course, The Blob, because he has taken every conceivable position on every conceivable issue in the course of his career.

But I regret not voting for Gore. If he had been elected, we would have paid the national debt down from $5 trillion to $3 or $4 trillion dollars, and started the Great Recession with more fiscal room for deficit spending until the private sector got cranked up again.

Spend $90 trillion??? We ought to save that much off of banning cars from big cities. Anyone besides Findalis ever tried to drive in NYC? Give me the subway anytime.

But as for Biden... he's been an embarrassment to the Obama administration since he was first nominated for Veep.
