Geert Wilders Speech in Denmark

Hat tip Creeping Sharia

This week, Dutch parliamentarian Geert Wilders spoke in Copenhagen in front of the Danish Free Press Society on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the murder of Dutch film maker Theo Van Gogh. Van Gogh was killed because he had made a film critical of Islam's treatment of women (Submission).

I am cross-posting the video of this speech from Creeping Sharia. The video is about one hour long, but the message of Wilders is important. Like Van Gogh, Wilders is a target for Islamic assassination because he speaks out about the Islamic threat to the West. In this speech, he also calls out Western leaders like Barack Obama and David Cameron who are lying to the people about Islam. The speech itself takes up about half of the video followed by q and a, which includes an interesting back and forth between Wilders and fellow panelist Daniel Pipes on the question of whether Islam can change.

One point I noted: Wilders does not believe in moderate Islam. He maintains there is only one Islam. He does, however believe in moderate Muslims. But he adds that moderate Muslims are not in the majority. He referred to a recent poll that indicated that 73% of Dutch Muslims thought that Dutch Muslims who went to fight in Iraq and Syria were "heroes".

That is a problem.
