"It Takes a Village" (and an Attorney)

Shocking revelation!!

Hat tip PJ Media and John Speedie

Did you know that Hillary Clinton, the nation's leading child advocate, once got a child rapist's charge reduced when she was an attorney in Arkansas?

"Yeah, I did."

No, you didn't.

The Washington Free Beacon is running a story with an old audiotape of Hillary being interviewed by a reporter when she was with Bill in Arkansas. In the interview, Hillary (with her best southern drawl) laughingly re-counts the story of how she plea-bargained the case down and got the man off with a light sentence.

First of all, this is no scandal. Clinton was an attorney and was simply doing her job as the law allows. Whether that affects her status as a child advocate is another matter. Child advocates, at least in my opinion, do not represent child rapists. D'ya think that maybe-just maybe- this woman is a phony?

"Uhhhh.....yeaaaah."

What startles me is the fact that she actually worked a case in court.
