Former UC Berkeley chancellor Robert Birgeneau may not be as controversial as Condi Rice or Ayaan Hirsi Ali, but he is the latest commencement speaker to say "the hell with it" as students and faculty at Pennsylvania's Haverford College put so many demands on him, he said......
Apparently, the little rascals at Haverford were upset that some campus cops at UCB had a "little stick time" on protesting students in 2011, and they expected Birgeneau to don sack cloth and ashes over it.

I suggest that whenever a college experiences this kind of forced cancellation of a commencement speaker, they replace said speaker with say, the school janitor.
