1NewHeart: Update on Talia

Inline image 1

Here is an update on 1 New Heart's latest sponsored child, Talia, who is from Gaza. It was sent from Hank Dannecker of 1 New Heart.

"Good Morning!

Last night at 8PM I drove to Wolfson Medical Center in Tel Aviv to take Um Talia some food.  As we said in the previous update the hospital kitchen staff will not return to the hospital until Sunday because of the holidays.  In addition, the “canyon” – mall - that is attached to the hospital is also closed for the holiday.

She was glad to see us and had many questions concerning the upcoming surgery and what she can expect post-op. She asked if I could go in the theatre and watch the operation; she said it would please her if I would do so.
Talia seems to be doing well and they are preparing her for surgery on Monday morning. As requested I will watch this baby’s open heart surgery and pray for a blessed outcome.

There is still a lot that needs to be accomplished before I leave Israel on Wednesday morning. Please keep all this in your prayers that the important matters would be completed in a timely fashion.
Blessings from Jerusalem,"
