How the Obama Administration Burns its Snitches

One important rule was drummed into me from the first day I joined law enforcement;

Don't burn your snitches. It gets people killed.

No, I am not talking about poking them with lit cigarettes. To burn a snitch means means to through careless actions reveal the identity of an informant to the bad guys. That rule obviously applies to intelligence services like the CIA.

That was until Leon Panetta came along under President Obama and his desire to trumpet the killing of Usama bin Laden. We are seeing the results now in Pakistan.

Way to go, Leon!

But its wrong to investigate leaks if journalists are co-conspirators. What if the leak concerned a snitch?
