Yvonne Ridley Not Welcome in India

British agitator and "journalist" Yvonne Ridley has a bad habit of trying to get into countries where she is not welcome. She tried it in Afghanistan. She has unfortunately succeeded in getting into the US. Last month, India had the good sense to tell her she was not welcome.

I imagine Yvonne (a former correspondent for Iran's Press TV) could always get into Iran. I think that's a good place for her.

(Note the upside-down American flag)

I also note that she was going to India in conjunction with Jamaat e Islami in Hyderabad. Good grief! Could that be a branch of Jamaat e Islami in Pakistan, founded by the anti-Western Abul Ala Maududi?

Maududi was a fierce critic of Western culture. Yet, when he was ill, he came to the US for treatment in Buffalo, where he died (shades of Omar Barghouti).

Ridley actually reads this blog and has sent in a couple of caustic comments. I hope she finds the above picture of her flattering (the lower one).

I still think she looks like a teaser for "A Lion in Winter."
