Yusuf Abdul-Qadir to Speak at MPAC Conference

Another of the speakers at the Muslim Public Affairs Council annual conference in Pasadena on December 15 will be a young Syracuse University graduate and former president of the Muslim Student Association there named Yusuf Abdul-Qadir. He currently does work for MPAC.

Qadir's claim to fame is that a couple of years ago, he was contacted and interviewed by the FBI. He was not accused of anything. He was not arrested. He was not mistreated in any way that I am aware of. The FBI contacted him and requested an interview in their on-going efforts to develop leads and contacts to help stop terrorist attacks in the US. Below is a letter he wrote to a Syracuse newspaper back in February, in which he blasted the NYPD for investigating Muslims.

"There should be calls for investigations on all levels of government to see who is implicated and participated in this illicit act under the guise of “national security.”

As stated,  Qadir will be speaking December 15 in Pasadena. I guess getting interviewed by the FBI was the greatest thing that has ever happened to him.
