Mark Schiff of Stand With Us asked some UCLA students some basic questions about the Middle East

Miggie said...: Nothing depresses me as much as the sheer ignorance of our college students.

What do they teach them in schools now? Women's Studies? How the US interred the Japanese in WWII? Or that we dropped the atom bomb? That's the only things they know about our history with any certainty.

Miggie said...: Maybe I'm judging them too harshly. They are really good at texting. They can text "Wassup?" and "Nutin, wassup wit U?" back and forth at surprising speed and dexterity.

I hope they can find employers who find those skills useful. Otherwise they will be at the public trough. Come to think of it, that may be the Plan. More ignoramuses, more welfare recipients, more Democratic voters! It all works out for the best.; March 4, 2012 at 11:00 AM
