More Wackery at UCLA

Hat tip to Frontpage Magazine from which this article is cross-posted.

I have written previously about this particular professor. Khaled Abou El Fahd. Now Frontpage has provided an update on what this guy is feeding the students at UCLA.

"Those crazy right wing nuts who keep on telling the public that Muslims want to impose Sharia on Americans have in common[sic] with anti-Semites who to this day propel the ideas of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

Wow! How interesting that the Protocols of the Elders of Zion still enjoys wide currency in the Arab world (along with Mein Kampf).

As you know, I consider the hysteria about Shariah being imposed by force or any judicial or other act of government to be rather far-fetched.

However, there IS a difference between that potential and the Protocols of the Elders of Zion:

There really ARE some Muslims in the world who DESIRE to establish a world-wide Caliphate based on some ruthlessly enforced version of Shariah. By contrast, the Protocols of the Elders of Zion was a blatant forgery.

Yes, Siarlys, and the Arab world still thinks it's authentic!

There are many in the Arab world who would rather that Jewish immigration never happened. It is true anywhere in the world that people fervently committed to an outcome will believe anything that buttresses their preference.

There are also people in the United States who believe that Barack Hussein Obama was not born in Hawaii. Again, all they really have driving them to this belief is that, "darn it all, I don't WANT that man in the White House!"

Ah, the Race card again. It is as well-worn as the victim card.

It is a attribute of the Left. They are so pure of heart that anyone who doesn't agree with them must be a bad person ... not just a someone who is mistaken or ill-informed but an evil person... a racist or homophobe or oppressor.

It is odd, first of all, that a man in public office would go to such lengths to hide all aspects of his background. That, in itself, naturally produces questions. When he is finally forced by public opinion to produce his birth record, it has significant problems with it. Yet the FIRST thing the Left does is to demean the motives and the people who ask for the answers. The insult deflects from the question at hand, which enables them, they think, to avoid the question.

Miggie, the only one dredging up race is YOU! I recall in 2009 telling people at one of Breitbart's mutual admiration society sites that they could stop crying in their beer, because I agreed, they were not motivated by racism.

What motivates Republican and pseudo-conservative anger about Obama winning an election is their violated sense of ENTITLEMENT. There was this notion that Reagan's election in 1980 initiated a Thousand Year Reich of pseudo-conservative dominance, that they would be climbing the ramparts from one victory to another. This wet dream was rudely interrupted by

a) Bill Clinton's plurality of 1992

b) Bill Clinton's majority of 1996

c) Barack Obama's majority of 2008.

This Republican crowd can't stand the notion that a solid majority of the American people are not unreservedly committed to putting them into office every time. So, they have to console themselves with rants and raves about how they were betrayed.

It is not unlike the Nazi propaganda that the German armies in WW I had been "stabbed in the back" by the target du jour of Joseph Goebbels's propaganda machine.
