Neville Chamberlain Asks For Another Chance

Here goes Jimmy Carter again. Now he is sounding like the North Korean ambassador to the United Nations.

That's right, Jimmy. If only the nation would listen to you, we would have Peace in Our Time. If this guy were still president, our diplomats would still be sitting in an Iranian dungeon. It never ceases to amaze me how this feckless boob, who made such a mess out of things, could still prance around the world telling us what we should all do. This is the same micro-manager who was managing the White House tennis court logbook while the country was falling apart around him. Yet, he has just come out with another of his books trying to convince us what a genius he was.

What else is new? Oh yeah, I heard that Neville Chamberlain, now living in a British nursing home at the age of 145, is still waving that peace of paper in his hand and asking to take one more trip to Munich to save Britain from a German invasion.

"Yee Gads!"

A) the diplomats were out of Iran before Carter left office,

B) he authorized the military to attempt a rescue, which failed,

C) it is generally considered bad form for a president to instruct military commanders on the details of a mission, and rightly so,

and you were saying, about the diplomats in Tehran?
