Among all the savagery exhibited by Hamas in its invasion of Israel, none surpasses what happened at a rave festival in southern Israel. At least 260 innocent civilians attending the festival were attacked and massacred, with many of the survivors taken hostage by the terrorists. CNN's Clarissa Ward surveyed the scene afterward. It is now reported that at least 9 Americans have been killed. France and Germany are reporting that a couple of their citizens are among the dead. France reports that 14 French citizens are missing and presumed taken hostage, including a 12-year-old boy.
And now the barbarians of Hamas are threatening to execute the hostages if Israeli air attacks continue. This is what they do. They murder innocent people in cold blood in the name of their cause, all the while, screaming, "Allahu Akhbar" as if God wants to see these barbarous acts carried out against innocent men, women, and children.
I take no pleasure in seeing the scenes of carnage in Gaza City as a result of the Israeli retaliatory airstrikes. Israel goes to great lengths to minimize civilian casualties, targeting Hamas installations and leaders. But collateral damage and the deaths of civilians are unavoidable, especially since Hamas has been previously documented as keeping its civilians near targets. They actually want to see their people killed so they can trot out the images to an eager and gullible world press. As David Horowitz has often pointed out, this is a sick culture.
