The Medina Constitution as Presented by MPAC President -and a Refutation by Louis Palme

"A new paradigm of human relations"

On March 9, there was an event at the Islamic Center of Orange County which centered around the Medina Constitution from the time of the Prophet Mohammad. The moderators were Imam Muzammil Siddiqi, head imam of the Islamic Center and former president of the Islamic Society of North America, a Muslim Brotherhood front group, and the presenter on the Medina Charter, who was Salam al Marayati, CEO of the Muslim Public Affairs Council, also a Muslim Brotherhood front group. In this presentation, Marayati presents the Medina Charter as some sort of model of equality and rule of law. Marayati also likens the Medina Constitution to the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights. The video ends with a presentation on ObamaCare.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4COcs4SFbjA&hd=1

My friend, Louis Palme, who is an expert on Islam, has presented the below refutation of Marayati's presentation.

http://www.islam-watch.org/authors/139-louis-palme/1524-the-medina-charter--a-manifesto-of-a-band-of-robbers-no-match-for-the-us-constitution.html

As linked above, here is the text of the Medina Constitution:

http://www.constitution.org/cons/medina/macharter.htm

I do not pretend to know as much on this topic as Palme, but when I hear Marayati's words about the equality and protections for the Jews and see how religious minorities in majority Muslim nations are treated, I find the video laughable. What is boils down to is that as long as the Jews of Medina subjugated themselves and accepted dhimmitude, they would be left alone.

Ungrateful Kosovar Goes on Trial for Terror Plot in Florida

Didn't we (NATO) intercede on behalf of Kosorvar Muslims back in the 1990s when Bill Clinton was president? It seems one Kosovar that we let come to the US is not very grateful.

http://www.tampabay.com/news/courts/criminal/judge-allows-word-terrorist-at-osmakac-trial-in-tampa/2172208

Well, at least the judge will let the prosecution use the word, "terrorist" in the trial. I hope nobody tells Eric Holder.

The Latest From Hamas in Gaza

Hat tip American Power

The below video is of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh addressing a crowd in Gaza and calling for the destruction of Israel.

If Haniyeh looks familiar to Fousesquawk readers, there is a reason. That's our friend, British comedian George Galloway, being presented with his Palestinian passport by Haniyeh.

                                                                                                 Two fanatics

I hope somebody sends the above video to John Kerry. Then maybe it will get through his head the mentality Israel is facing.

ObamaCare's Cooked Figures

Have you signed up yet? (I haven't.) Today is the deadline to sign up for Obamacare, and Jay Carney and the administration are screaming success with 6 million enrollees. Well, not quite.

John Kerry Blues

As they say in diplomatic circles, John Kerry has had a quite "constructive" week. First, he spent four hours with Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas in Amman, Jordan talking about a peace treaty with Israel -and got nowhere.

http://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/kerry-meet-palestinian-leader-jordan-23062107

Then he flew to Paris and spent four hours with Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov talking about Ukraine-and got nowhere.

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/kerry-lavrov-meet-hours-talk-russian-troops-ukraine/story?id=23121120

Then it was off to Rome to meet with the Pope. No word on whether he has convinced Francis to OK abortion.

This just breaking: CNN is reporting that Cambodian satellites have spotted an object of interest in the Indian Ocean.

Nope. Just another jellyfish.

CNN Interviews Dianne Feinstein for no Explicable Reason

Hat tip Truth Revolt, Weasel Zippers and Frontpage Magazine

"I don't know."

CNN is embarrassing itself with its almost 24 hour coverage of the missing Malaysian jetliner-specially since there is absolutely nothing developing and the network anchors are basically reduced to asking the same experts and new experts the same questions.

Candy Crowley (filling in while Don Lemon catches a couple of winks) even brought in Senator Dianne Feinstein to tell her what she doesn't know.

http://www.truthrevolt.org/news/cnn-enlists-aviation-expert-dianne-feinstein

I would have suggested that Candy ask the good senator about that letter she wrote commending Leland Yee co-conspirator Raymond "Shrimp Boy" Chow for "turning his life around", but CNN's viewers would have hardly understood the context since "The Most Trusted Name in News" has basically neglected to report the story of the liberal California gun-control, gun-running state senator, who has been busted by the FBI.

Anjem Choudary: "Washington Mudslide Was Act of Allah"

Hat tip Atlas Shrugs

Anjem "the Bearded Clam" Choudary with his gang of thugs

The man who will probably be the next king of England is now raving that the mudslide in Washington state was "an act of Allah". No, we are not talking about Prince Charles or Prince William. We are talking about Prince Anjem, the Puke of London, the human mudslide himself.

http://pamelageller.com/2014/03/uk-devout-muslim-preacher-claims-washington-mudslide-act-allah.html/

This clown has managed to displace even Prince Charles as the poster boy for what a joke the UK has become in eyes of the world. And guess what. The guy (who has a a law degree) and his miserable family are supported by the British government, free house and all!

Pity Britain.

Are Humanitarian Aid Convoys to Syria Carrying Fighters From the West?

Hat tip Vlad Tepes

In this report from Russia Today, it appears that some humanitarian aid convoys to Syria are transporting fighters from Europe to join the jihad-in this case from the UK.

That is only part of the problem. Every Western country at this point is very concerned about what happens when (or if) these jihadists return.

"Ja!!"

With all the dignity and objectivity of a kangaroo court, student activists, apparently aided by bused-in Muslim activists, ramrodded through a boycott, divest and sanctions resolution against Israel at Ontario's McMaster University.

http://netwmd.com/blog/2014/03/28/12957

And why am I not surprised that the Jewish Federation in Ontario is just as feckless as the Jewish Federation in Orange County and everywhere else?

Here is the article from the McMaster campus paper, The Silhouette. It  includes a full video of the assembly vote. I see that this site is already getting a lot of hits from McMaster, so I have added my comment to the Silhouette's reader thread.

Ted and Dick

N Hello?

K Hey Dick, it's me, Ted.

N Why are you calling me?

K I heard you had an earthquake out there in California.

N Yeah, we did.

K Where was it centered?

N La Habra.

K Where the Hell is that?

N It's near LA. Don't you remember? Isn't that where you gave a campaign speech in Spanish and you were drunk and started singing, "Jalisco, no te rajes"?

K- Get out! So now it's "La Habra no te rajes."

N- That's right.

K So where were you when it hit?

N  Is that a joke? Actually, I was driving with my aunt Betty, and when it happened, we ran off the bridge into a pond.

K Get out, er, I mean did you get out OK?

N Yeah, I did, but Aunt Betty wasn't so lucky. You know how it is.

K I think you're pulling my leg, wise guy.

N You're right. I didn't feel a thing. Hey Ted. What did you say the name of that new president is, I keep forgetting, Rock-a-rama or something like that, wasn't it?

K Barack Usama.

N How's he doing?

K You don't wanna know.

N Is he getting along OK with Brezhnev?

K It's not Brezhnev anymore. It's Putin.

N Who?

K Putin. He's the new president of Russia.

N Putin. Kinda has a nice ring to it. I'll bet thanks to my Detente policy, we and Russia are best of friends now, right?

K Well, not exactly. We kinda restarted  that whole deal.

N Too bad. All my great work down the toilet. What about China?

K Oh, China's doing great. The First Lady is over there as we speak.

N Doing what? Sightseeing and shopping, I'll bet.

K Oh no, it's all about education, youth empowerment and people to people contact.

N Funny. I haven't seen any photos. Aren't the newsies traveling with her?

K Not exactly. No photos are allowed.

N  I dig it. That way when they're loading up Air Force One with Tai Ping carpets and Ming vases, nobody knows. Cool. Anyway's, how's the family?

K Great-you wanna say hello?

N Nah. What do you hear from that nephew of yours, Michael? He should be eligible for parole in about 40 years, I figure.

K Oh, you didn't hear? He's out.

N Get out! What happened?

K He got a new trial because he had an incompetent attorney, you know.

N Well, you know those public defenders.

K Public defender, Hell! Mickey Sherman was his lawyer. You know we only hire the best.

N So how come he was incompetent?

K Uhh, listen, I gotta go. (click)

Brown Shirts Running Vassar

Hat tip Legal Insurrection

This is one of the most sickening reports I have read of what the brown shirts in academic are doing. Legal Insurrection has a lengthy and detailed report of the intimidation that two professors and their students are being subjected to. It is a tale of cowardice on the part of university leadership. It is another case of Jewish leadership being missing in action.

http://legalinsurrection.com/2014/03/anti-israel-academic-boycott-turns-ugly-at-vassar/comment-page-1/#comment-511655

Imagine a college where the head of the Jewish Studies Department is a BDS advocate.

"Among the signatories was Joshua Schreier, Associate Professor of History and Director of Jewish Studies, who supports the academic boycott of Israel and considers Israel (added — comparable to) an Apartheid state:"

I hope every Jewish high school student thinking of attending Vassar reads this report.

The Carnage in Syria-From French and Belgian Fighters

Hat tip Daily Beast, Vlad Tepes and Oz-Rita

As the war in Syria rages on, Jihadists are pouring in by the thousands from among the West's Muslim minorities. The Daily Beast has a disturbing report with graphic video of French and Belgian fighters who are involved in the atrocities.

You can watch the video with English sub-titles furnished by Oz-Rita from Vlad Tepes.

And it's not just "French" and "Belgians" who are flocking to Syria. American citizens are going as well. And don't think all of the victims of these horrors are pro-Assad forces or competing rebels. Many are Christian civilians. Think of that. Muslim immigrants to the West flocking to Syria and murdering Syrian Christians in the name of Allah. And these are the people we are supposed to support?

The BDS Wars Rage on at UCLA

Hat tip Daily Bruin

This week's Daily Bruin is featuring an exchange of viewpoints between Jewish and Muslim students on the current boycott, divest and sanctions movement against Israel at UCLA (BDS). Below, I am posting a column by Miriam Eshaghian, an anti-BDS student who participated in an earlier column with two other students on the topic in the Daily Bruin. They were criticized by a pro-BDS student from Students for Justice in Palestine based on the idea that the paper should have divulged that the three were members of Hasbara, a pro-Israel organization. (That letter to the Daily Bruin is linked.) As usual, I have added my comment to the reader thread, which is quite lively and includes back and forths among the four individuals.

Pelosi Gets Margaret Sanger Award and Calls Pro-Life People "Dumb"

Hat tip Truth Revolt

You couldn't make this up.

Spoker of the House Nancy Pelosi gets the Margaret Sanger award from Planned Parenthood "honoring" her for her support of abortion. The award is named for the founder of PP's predecessor organization. One of Sanger's motivations was to cut down on the size of the black population.

But it gets better.

Pelosi used the occasion to call abortion opponents "dumb".

http://www.truthrevolt.org/news/nancy-pelosi-calls-pro-lifers-dumb

Next year, I nominate that the award go to that UC Santa Barbara professor who pilfered the anti-abortion posters from the two girls just a few days ago.

Introducing Mireille Miller-Young. My nominee for next year's Margaret Sanger Abortion Award.

Take that, Margaret Sanger

Voice of the Martyrs Seminar in Huntington Beach

Today I attended a one-day seminar hosted by the Christian organization Voice of the Martyrs at the Refuge Calvary Chapel in Huntington Beach, California. Voice of the Martyrs is an organization dedicated to helping persecuted Christians around the world. The speakers were Christian pastors who work in  foreign countries. They were Bob Fu (China), Steven Khoury (Holy Land), Todd Nettleton (Laos, China, S Korea and Nigeria) and a Syrian pastor who could only be identified as Brother John (for obvious reasons). In fact, the audience was asked not to take pictures of his face or of any of his slides from Syria.

They were expecting an audience of 700, but it could easily have been more. There was a wide range of people of different ethnicities and ages, young and old, which I thought was very encouraging.

When I arrived, Pastor Khoury was speaking and telling of his experiences trying to spread the gospel in Gaza and Jenin (West Bank).  He also described the difficulties for those who chose to convert from Islam to Christianity and the risks they faced.

Nettleton told us the story of a North Korean refugee he met in S Korea whose mother had been arrested in possession of Bibles and was subsequently executed by the North Korean. We also saw a film of a young Chinese Christian woman who was arrested by police, taken to a place of torture, and subjected to torture because she wouldn't sign a confession incriminating fellow Christians. She spent 6 years in prion. He also told us the story of Asia Bibi, a Pakistani woman facing death for blasphemy of Islam. Her court case is still pending. Then there was the story of the Muslim mob in Indonesia who dug up the grave of the Dutch missionary couple who brought Christianity to that country in the 19th century.

Brother John's testimony was the most riveting. I have to leave out certain details of what he told us because it could endanger people in Syria. He talked of the war raging and the killing of Christians. He also described the severe risks Christians took for distributing Bibles and proselytizing. He told us of the kidnap, gruesome torture, and murder of Father Fadi Jamil Haddad. As he asked the audience to pray for Syrian Christians, he warned us that one day we will need the prayers of others. "As we speak," he said, "American citizens are going to Syria to fight in the jihad with al Qaeda". Many of them are killing Christians.

Yet, he said that among all this there is a Christian revival in Syria. He also said that in Egypt and Syria, in the so-called "Arab Spring", which they call "Extremist Spring", many Muslims have turned away from Islam.

I was unable to stay for Pastor Fu's presentation.

One thing I would have liked to hear is mention of other religious minorities suffering persecution. I would have like to hear about rising anti-Semitism in the world as well as persecution of the Baha'i in Iran.

Notwithstanding the above reservation, I will be linking Voice for the Martyrs on this site under the section, "Worthy of our Support". They are doing worthwhile work.

Caroline Glick Column in Jerusalem Post

Brown Shirts on Campus

"Juden raus!"

The message is the same.

Jerusalem Post writer Caroline Glick hits the nail on the head in describing the BDS-promoters on college campuses. They are brown shirts, pure and simple.

http://www.jpost.com/Opinion/Columnists/Column-One-Campus-brownshirts-rising-346739

The only word to describe them is, "brown shirts". That is what they are. They are thugs using the tactic of intimidation to turn the Israel-Palestinian conflict into the number one issue of contention in American higher education. As a result, they are turning our campuses into powder kegs.

Anti-Israel Event at St Marks Episcopal Church in Seattle

Hat tip Mike Report

In the below post from the Mike Report, a Seattle-based blog, Randy Kessler writes a guest column about his visit to an anti-Israel event at St Marks Episcopal Church in Seattle. The article is "part 2", but in the first line, you can link to part 1.

http://mikereport.wordpress.com/2014/03/27/my-visit-to-anti-israel-events-at-st-marks-part-two/

Here is a previous cross-posting I did from the Mike Report regarding this church.

http://garyfouse.blogspot.com/2014/02/st-marks-episcopal-church-in-seattle.html

This one event was no isolated one. This church has aligned itself with the usual crowd of anti-Israel activists, some of whom have visited UC Irvine where I teach (Mike Peled, Cindy Corrie). The willingness of certain Christian churches to align themselves with the Palestinian cause is troubling. They close their eyes to terrorism and facilitate more anti-semitism. Is it due to Christian naivete, or 1960s liberalism (many of these people come from that generation), or just plain old anti-semitism?

SFSU Faculty Indoctrination Meeting on Middle East

Hat tip Campus Reform and AMCHA Initiative

I have written several articles on the on-going vilification of Israel at San Francisco State University and the letters written to SFSU president Les Wong about threatening rhetoric and images coming out of that campaign of hate against the Jewish stste. On March 6. SFSU professor Rabab Abdulhadi and others held an event in which they reported on their recent trip to Israel and the Palestinian territories.

Two days ago, the AMCHA Initiative sent another letter to Wong pointing out what actually transpired at this event including an audiotape taken by one of the members of the audience (linked in the below-linked letter). It should also be noted that at one point, the aforementioned person was told that she could not record the event. A campus police officer then ordered her to turn off her recorder under threat of arrest.

This is illegal. As has been put to the test at UC Irvine (by myself and others), if it is a public event at a public site public university) people have the legal right under California law to record. This person's rights were violated.

http://www.amchainitiative.org/amcha-and-jewish-organizations-write-wong-about-abdulhadi-event-condoning-terrorism/

As pointed out in the letter, audience members were subjected to numerous statements by the panelists and presenters that defy credibility. If a person who engages in skyjacking (Leila Khaled) is not a terrorist, I don't know what is. In addition, the other person with whom they met (Sheikh Raed Salah) has clear cut ties to terrorists and Hamas and was, indeed, imprisoned for such by the Israelis. This compares with the infamous 2009 meeting that the Olive Tree Initiative held with West Bank Hamas member Aziz Dweik.

Tel Aviv bombing

“the cry of a baby calling for the attention of the world.” !??!

And what is all this about comparing Israel and the Palestinians with the history of the American Indians? Three thousand years ago, Jerusalem was the capital of Israel. There has always been a Jewish presence in the Middle East. That's a lot more than we can say about the white presence in the US.

This is a real three-ring circus up there at SFSU. It seems that President Wong has no control over his university. Of course, he is hardly the only university head in that category.

UCSB Vice Chancellor's Shameful Message re: Teacher Incident

In response to the incident that occurred in recent days at the University of California at Santa Barbara, Vice Chancellor Michael Young has issue a long-winded diatribe that basically savages the two young girls who were victimized by a UCSB teacher.

Fr: Michael D. Young Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs
Re: Students and Free Speech at UCSB
Below you will find an email communication that I sent out earlier this week to all UCSB students expressing my views on free speech. Sincerely, Michael D. Young Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs
March 19, 2014
Dear Students:

Over the past several weeks, our campus has been visited by a number of outside groups and individuals coming here to promote an ideology, to promulgate particular beliefs (at times extreme beliefs), or simply to create discord that furthers a certain personal agenda. Some passionately believe in their causes, while others peddle hate and intolerance with less-than-noble aims.

Whatever the motives and goals, the presence of such people and groups on campus can be disruptive and has the potential to draw us into the kind of conflict that puts at risk the quality of exchange of ideas that is fundamental to the mission of our university.

What is happening now is not new: evangelical types have been visiting UCSB and university campuses since time immemorial. What we see at UCSB today is simply the most recent generation of true believers, self-proclaimed prophets, and provocateurs.

During the past few weeks, UCSB has been visited by various anti-abortion crusaders. Some have been considerate and thoughtful in promoting their message; others have openly displayed images that many in our community find distressing and offensive.

We have also seen earnest and thoughtful religious missionaries, and we have seen proselytizers hawking intolerance in the name of religious belief. As a consequence of interactions with the more extreme of our visitors, students have expressed outrage, pain, embarrassment, fear, hurt, and feelings of harassment.
Moreover, I have received requests that the campus prohibit the peddling of “fear,” “hate,” “intolerance,” and “discord” here at UCSB.

Those of you who know me are aware that I have strong views on the matter of intolerance. You also know that I hold equally strong views on the sanctity of free speech. If you have heard me speak at Convocation or at anti-hate events, or if you have seen me officiating at the Queer Wedding, you know that my message on both counts is clear. Recent events lead me to believe that this message bears repeating.

First, the principle of freedom of expression resides at the very foundation of our society and, most certainly, at the foundation of a world-class university such as UC Santa Barbara. Freedom and rights are not situational: we either have freedom of speech or we do not. We cannot pick and choose which views are allowed to be aired and who is allowed to speak. If that were the case, then only those in charge — those holding power — would determine who gets to speak and whose views are heard.

Second, freedom is not free. The price of freedom for all to speak is that, at times, everyone will be subjected to speech and expression that we, ourselves, find offensive, hateful, vile, hurtful, provocative, and perhaps even evil. So be it! Law and policy ban only an extremely narrow band of speech and expression-”yelling ‘fire!’ in a crowded theatre,” for example, and child pornography. The price we pay to speak our own minds is allowing others to speak theirs, regardless of how oppositional their views are to our own. Our Founding Fathers-all white men of privilege, some even slave owners-got it right when designing the First Amendment of the Constitution.

Having firmly stated my support for freedom of expression, I hasten to follow with a lesson my mother taught me when I was a small child, a lesson that has remained with me the rest of my life and that I relay to our entering students every fall at Convocation. My mother taught me that just because you can say or do something doesn’t mean that you should. Civility plays an important role in how we choose to exercise our right to expression. We all have the right to say odious things, to display offensive slogans and placards, and to hurt and disrespect groups and individuals that disagree with us. The question is: should we? Should we engage in these behaviors just because we can or because they serve our political, religious, or personal agendas?

At UCSB, our students have proven that we are better than this. While it has not always been easy, time and again UCSB students have demonstrated that they can disagree about the critical issues of our time — fundamentally and passionately but within a framework of humanity and civility, respecting the dignity of those whose views they oppose. Time and time again, UCSB students have demonstrated that they understand their role in defining the character and quality of this campus community — revealing their unwillingness to lower themselves to the tactics of those whose agenda comes wrapped in intolerance and extremism.

And now we are tested once again, outsiders coming into our midst to provoke us, to taunt us and attempt to turn us against one another as they promote personal causes and agendas. If we take the bait, if we adopt negative tactics and engage in name calling, confrontation, provocation, and offensive behavior, then they win and our community loses. While urging you to engage with differing ideas and opinions in a civil manner, I also want to remind you that you have the option not to engage at all. You do not have to listen to, look at, or even acknowledge speech or expression that you find provocative or offensive. The Arbor Mall is a free speech area, as is the area in front of the University Center. If you do not want to be confronted by certain materials or expressions, you should avoid the free-speech areas when you expect that you might encounter them, or simply ignore them. I promise you the visitors will hate that.

And, finally, if you think demonstrators, activists, or proselytizers are violating the law, report them to the UC Police Department. If you think they are violating campus policies, report them to the Office of Student Life (OSL). Similarly, if you feel harassed or think you are being subjected to offensive speech or material as an involuntary audience, please contact the Office of Student Life immediately. Katya Armistead, Associate Dean of Student Life and Activities, can be reached at 805-893-8912. If you do not reach her, someone at the general OSL number (805-893-4550) will be able to relay your message to her. The campus regulations address UCSB’s free speech policies
further:http://www.sa.ucsb.edu/Regulations/campus_activities.aspx<http://www.sa.ucsb.edu/Regulations/campus_activities.aspx> .

What I am suggesting may not be easy, and it may feel more satisfying (at least for the moment) to lash out. (My mom often reminded me that doing the right thing is difficult.) If you feel that you must respond, hold a peaceful, thoughtful, civil, and dignified counter-demonstration, and show how students engage intellectually and politically at UCSB.

Sincerely, Michael D. Young Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs

Fousesquawk comment:

This man should be fired. He is unfit to hold the position he holds. This is the most reprehensible piece of garbage I have ever seen in writing since I have been employed on a university campus. First he starts off by implying that these two young ladies, ages 16 and 21 are hate peddlers, self-proclaimed prophets and provocateurs. By implication, Young tars these girls with every negative adjective and noun in his letter. He ignores the alleged actions of the professor, which are captured on videotape as he attacks anybody from outside the campus with a message. If Dr Young doesn't like having outsiders and community members on his campus,  I have a news bulletin for him: The University of California at Santa Barbara is a public institution paid for by the people who pay for his salary. The public is allowed on campus subject to normal rules of conduct and behavior. I have yet to see where the two girls violated those norms. By accounts, they were demonstrating peacefully on a part of the campus designated as a free-speech zone.

Note how Young refers derisively to evangelical types as if that were something to be ashamed of. Note the reference to "anti-abortion crusaders" with images that some find disturbing.  Like photos of a real abortion? I always find it amazing people who support abortion but find the images offensive. Those must not be seen (lest people change their views on the topic).

And what do long-dead white men of privilege who owned slaves have to do with this discussion? What kind of back-handed slap was that?

In between all this, Young concedes that people have the right of free speech and says that the campus community should be above it all and not react to the provocations (by taunting the girls, taking their poster, and shoving them out of an elevator). In other words, buried in this diatribe is a vague message that the teacher should not have reacted as she did. No kidding.

This is the mentality that grips our universities. I can't tell you how disgusted I am at this letter.

Purged FBI Training Materials

Hat tip The Blaze (and others)

The below report from Patrick Poole in The Blaze is extensive and documents how the current administration has allowed elements of the Muslim Brotherhood in America to actually infiltrate our government and in particular force the FBI to purge training materials that talk about Islam when it comes to terror. I urge the reader to go over this article, click the links and watch the videos. It is all quite dumbfounding.

http://www.theblaze.com/blog/2014/03/26/a-detailed-look-at-the-purge-of-u-s-counter-terrorism-training-by-the-obama-administration/#more-785205

In regard to the purged FBI materials, below are two examples, the first being presentation materials of Colonel Matthew Dooley (who was fired upon the complaints of the Islamic groups), and the second being presentation materials of FBI employee William Gawthrop. I am unable to actually link them here, so the reader will have to copy and paste.

file:///C:/Users/gary/Downloads/W.%20Gawthrop%20Presentation%20Purged%20from%20FBI%20Training%20(3).pdf

As a retired DEA agent, I know deep inside that the FBI agents and those of other agencies have to be seething over this. It is a result of what happens when you have an administration in power that is in league with the CAIRs, the MPACs, and the ISNAs of this country. It is beyond shameful. It is downright treasonous when you consider that the government has documented the intentions of these groups.

Days ago I posted a story on an assault upon a Jewish man in Paris by a gang of Arabs. Fox News has picked up on the story and has photos showing what happened to this victim.

Why We Are Concerned About Those Who Go to Fight in Syria

Hat tip Vlad Tepes and Gates of Vienna

Recently, some have questioned why we are monitoring those who  leave the West to go and fight in Syria. A recent case broken in France explains why. French police have just prevented a terror attack in France by one of the returning Jihadists.

http://gatesofvienna.net/2014/03/jihad-thwarted-on-the-cote-dazur/

This is a concern for all Western countries who are seeing jihadists leaving to join the war in Syria. Those who return are liable to carry out acts of terror in our countries, as the  above case illustrates.

U. Michigan (Cont) Another Threatening Image by the BDS Crowd

Add this to the recent reports of threatening images and words at San Francisco State University coming from the anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian crowd. The below post from Atlas Shrugs shows a photo purported to be a University of Michigan student who is front and center in the Boycott, Divest and Sanctions movement at Ann Arbor, where a proposed resolution failed this week.

The situation is getting worse. Is it going to take a dead student on campus to make our university administrators crawl out from underneath their desks?

Criminal Complaint Against Cal State Senator Leland Yee

Below linked is a copy of the criminal complaint against California State Senator Leland Yee et al. It is 137 pages long. Yee is charged with corruption and weapons trafficking involving a plot to purchase weapons from a Muslim separatist group in the Philippines and bring them to the US.

Yee is the third Democratic state senator to be charged this year. Another man arrested in the Yee case, Keith Jackson (49), is a former San Francisco school board president.

IRS Continues to Stonewall Issa

It doesn't matter who is in charge of IRS. They are going to stonewall the House investigation into the targeting of conservative groups. Yesterday, it was new IRS commissioner John Koskinen. He defiantly informed the committee that it would take years to turn over Lois Lerner's emails on the case as well as those of 5 other top officials. Below are reports on the day from the LA Times, UPI, and the Huffington Post. Note the difference in the reporting.

http://www.latimes.com/nation/la-na-irs-commissioner-20140327,0,7314767.story?track=rss#axzz2xAtr2UBe

http://www.upi.com/Top_News/US/2014/03/26/GOP-demands-faster-turnover-of-IRS-documents/7591395842461/

Interestingly, here is the liberal Huffington Post's take on the hearing. They say Koskinen "crushed" the Republicans. Yet they did not mention that Republicans were demanding the e-mails of Lois Lerner and 5 other top IRS officials involved in the matter. Lerner's name is not even mentioned.

 http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/03/26/irs-john-koskinen_n_5036858.html

Years? Really? Koskinen is going to look pretty silly if we find Malaysian 370 in the next few days or even weeks.

As a former DEA employee, I can tell you that when Congress merely sends a letter over requesting information, a priority is put on it by the people in Hqs. To say that it will take years to locate, review and redact certain information in the emails of 6 high-ranking people in the organization is absurd on its face.

Even in Freedom of Information requests from the public, they cannot be ignored. They must be processed, redacted, and sent out or refused with proper legal justification. In some cases, entire pages are redacted. It doesn't take two or three years. There are time limits.

This is pure Nixonian-style abuse and  corruption of our federal agencies by an outlaw admnsitration with an outlaw Justice Department and a Congress with enough protective Democrats like Elijah Cummings and Harry Reid to succeed where Nixon failed.

Our Pusillanimous State Department: Khamenei's Latest Comment About Holocaust

The State Department has gotten involved in a war of words with Steve Emerson's Investigative Project on Terrorism.over their reaction (or lack thereof) to a comment downplaying the Holocaust by Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in the past few days.

http://www.investigativeproject.org/4329/ipt-exclusive-state-department-silent-about

So the State Department has no reaction to a statement made by Khamenei on March 20 on  the occasion of the Persian new year questioning the Holocaust and again threatening to wipe Israel off the map, but because spokeswoman Marie Harf comes up with an appropriate comment on the 26th -in answer to a question- that is supposed to refute the IPT's claims?

And isn't it interesting that while the Iranian leader is using the occasion of the Persian new year to question the Holocaust and threaten Israel, President Obama and Secretary of State Kerry are using the occasion to send their greetings to the Iranian people and announce an increase in the number of Iranian students being granted visas to come to the US-from the nation that is the leading state sponsor of terrorism in the world?

Whatever happened to Obama's pledge to speak truth to those who deny the Holocaust?

Harry Reid on the ObamaCare Rollout Fiasco, "People Are Not Yet Educated on the Internet"

I can just visualize Harry Reid now standing in the well of the Senate giving his speech.....

" ... The example they gave us is a 63-year-old woman came into the store and said, 'I almost got it. Every time I just about got there, it would cut me off.' We have a lot of people just like this through no fault of the Internet, but [because] people are not educated on how to use the Internet," he said.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2014/03/26/reid-on-need-for-obamacare-extension-people-not-educated-about-internet/

The problem with that argument, Harry, is that the age group you are depending on to enroll to make this viable (25-30-something) is not enrolling. And they know all about the Internet.

California State Senator Indicted on Weapons Charges

"Heigh ho, heigh ho
It's off to jail I go"

Senator Leland Yee getting a ride in a real FBI car

California State Senator (and big-time  liberal Democrat gun control advocate) Leland Yee has been indicted in an FBI undercover sting involving weapons trafficking and Muslim separatist groups in the Philippines.

Driving home and listening to the local John and Ken talk show on KFI 640 am (LA), they were reading court transcripts of undercover conversations in which references were made to Muslim  separatist groups in the Philippines.

As for Raymond "Shrimp Boy" Chow, it is also revealed that US Senator Dianne Feinstein gave this guy some sort of honor for "turning his life around" after his release from prison.

 http://www.sanluisobispo.com/2014/03/26/2991299/capitol-alert-ex-con-shrimp-boy.html

Shrimp Boy

And this may be a story in itself.

"Chow is not a U.S. citizen. He is being represented by public defender and lives in San Francisco with his girlfriend. He has been on electronic monitoring since he's been out of prison and seeking legal immigration stays, even during the current investigation."
-SJ Mercury News

So a convicted gang leader released from prison instead of being deported, is pursuing an application for "legal immigration" or citizenship? What is that all about?

More to come. Much more.

Why the BDS Drive is Anti-Jewish

In the wake of the University of Michigan BDS fiasco this week, Jonathan Tobin, writing for Commentary Magazine, outlines why these campus resolutions are, indeed, anti-Semitic in nature. He also singles out the pusillanimous campus administration for well-deserved criticism.

http://www.commentarymagazine.com/2014/03/25/hate-speech-illustrates-true-face-of-bds-university-of-michigan-anti-semitism/

What happened at Michigan-and Northeastern University-and what continues to happen at San Francisco State University are concrete examples of how this well-organized movement against Israel on US campuses is escalating into a truly dangerous situation for Jewish students.

I respect the right of free speech, and when attending anti-Israel events, endeavor to observe the rules that allow even odious speakers to have their say. In theory, there is no reason why someone on campus or anywhere else should not be able to criticize the state of Israel and promote the Palestinian cause. The problem is, however, that free speech is being taken over by hate speech, thuggery, intimidation, and violence. This is where the university should step in. Either the university should act decisively in getting rid of students who engage in thuggery and intimidation on campus, or they should install a policy that anyone wishing to hold such events can take them off-campus. The university should not be a forum in which to battle out the Middle East conflict, especially when it becomes so disruptive. Student governments should also be told that they are not there to pass pronouncements on the problems of the world; they are there to deal with campus and student issues. That should be made a firm policy. Otherwise there is no justification for expending funds on student governments that spend hours on end until the wee hours of the morning debating issues that have no meaning for the university itself.

CAIR Unhappy With Results of Investigation They Requested

Hat tip Investigative Project on Terrorism

Last year when an FBI agent shot and killed an associate of the Tsarnaev brothers during an interview in Florida that turned violent, and after an internal DOJ review cleared the agent, the Council on Islamic American Relations-always quick to take up the cause of Islamic terrorists, asked for an independent investigation. They got it from the Florida State Attorney's Office, and the results were the same. Now CAIR is complaining again.

http://www.investigativeproject.org/4328/cair-criticizes-independent-investigation-it

CAIR is taking liberties with the term, "unarmed". Th suspect had some sort of pole in his hands. Even more importantly, the definition of unarmed changes drastically when you are talking about martial arts experts or professional boxers. In the case of this suspect, his hands and feet were deadly weapons.

The shooting has been found to be justified. Any more carping by CAIR further calls into question their sympathies for this circle of terrorists that never should have been brought to this country in the first place.

SFSU Professor Making Troubling Statements to Students About Terrorists

"Santa Cruz, CA, March 26, 2014 – AMCHA Initiative, Scholars for Peace in the Middle East, the Simon Wiesenthal Center and the Zionist Organization of America, today, wrote to San Francisco State University (SFSU) President Leslie Wong urging him to investigate a recent event held by SFSU Professor Rabab Abdulhadi where she and others glorified and condoned terrorism to SFSU students. AMCHA Initiative coordinated the letter after obtaining an audiotape of the March 6, 2014 event. According to eye-witness accounts, Jewish students were in tears following the meeting."

Rabab Abdulhadi

The activities and statements being made by San Francisco State University professor Rabab Abdulhadi are reaching critical mass. Read the latest allegations below from the AMCHA Initiative.

http://www.amchainitiative.org/jewish-groups-to-pres-wong-sfsu-prof-promoting-terrorism-investigate/

I have not heard the audiotape, and I don't know the origin of it. It is troubling when a professor uses his or her position as a teacher as a soapbox to glorify those who have been engaged in terrorist acts. In light of the actions and words of some of the students this woman has been an adviser to, this situation merits a close look, not only by the university, but in my view, by law enforcement.

Here is the contact information for President Wong. Please be respectful.

TAKE ACTION: Call President Wong at (415) 338-1381 and ask him to conduct an investigation of this event, to determine whether Prof. Abdulhadi’s behavior is compromising the campus climate for Jewish and Israeli students at SFSU. You may also email President Wong at president@sfsu.edu.

Loretta Sanchez's Laffer Op-ed on ACA

Hat tip John Speedie for audio

The last time I saw Rep. Loretta Sanchez (D-CA) was at a sharia town hall at the Islamic Center of Orange County a couple of years back when she angrily told an elderly gentleman in the audience to turn off his video camera. Today, she has an op-ed in the Orange County Register telling us that the Affordable Care Act enrollment numbers are a huge success.

http://www.ocregister.com/articles/success-606911-aca-enrollment.html

Note the anecdotal sob story in the introduction:

"Four years ago, the East Room of the White House was brimming with Democratic lawmakers, reporters, advocates and an 11-year-old named Marcelas Owens, whose mother passed away after becoming so sick she lost her job and, consequently, her health insurance. They were all gathered to watch President Barack Obama sign one of the most historic pieces of legislation into law: the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act."

Yes, if only for the ACA, Marcelas' mom would still be alive.

"Over the past four years, my colleagues on the other side of the aisle have voted to repeal or undermine the Affordable Care Act more than 50 times. But while they’re repealing, we’re enrolling. I take pride in watching our state lead the way. California’s enrollment numbers, which surpassed the 1 million last week, are double that of any other state and exceed our enrollment goals by 300,000. On top of that, the Jan. 1, 2014, expansion of Medi-Cal has covered nearly another one million low-income families in quality care." (Emphasis mine)

Buried in that passage is the bad news that enrollment in the other 49 states is way behind hoped-for numbers.

"These numbers are heartening, they make me proud, but they do not tell the whole story. While we deserve to pat ourselves on the back, we must also take stock of this experience and plan for beyond the March 31, 2014 deadline. We clearly know what we’ve done right, but we also know what we can do better."

Uh, hasn't that deadline been extended in to April?

"Latinos make up over 50 percent of uninsured Californians, but as of the end of February still made up only 22 percent of enrollees. How did we so blatantly miss the mark here? How could this population, so pivotal in the 2012 elections, so integral to California life, be looked over once again?"

I wonder if Loretta is mixing illegals into this paragraph who theoretically, would not be eligible, right?

"Covered California must have certainly known that language barriers would be an issue. It seems obvious that everything that is available in English should be available in Spanish, which they did a reasonable job of on the website and with bilingual phone operators – though there were far too few."

Of course, Loretta. Everything available in English must be available in Spanish. Just like the OC Register. I guess it is no longer a requirement for naturalization to be proficient in English. But let's move on because this just keeps getting better.

"But I was outraged when I found out Covered California didn’t have a paper application available in Spanish until three months into the enrollment period. That spoke to the broader problem: did Covered California do its research on how each constituency could best get enrolled?"

Outraged! Was she as outraged as that day I saw her at the town hall meeting on sharia? That was outraged!

"While everyone was complaining about the website, did they forget to think about those whose only access to a computer is at the public library with a long line and a 30 minute time limit? A paper application is the best and only option for so many residents."

Whew! I thought she was going to introduce legislation for a "computer in every pot."

Get this.......

"But it goes beyond translation. I have heard over and over again concerns from residents about turning over personal or financial data to government agencies because of both cultural norms and outright fear about what it could mean for their undocumented family members." (Emphasis mine)

What about fears of people hacking into that poorly-defended website and getting our personal information, Loretta? I can assure you there are no "cultural norms" bothering me, and I don't have any "undocumented" family members (so I guess my concerns don't count).

"These concerns are often best put to bed by someone who will stand by your side, in-person, and walk you through the process. That’s why, when I saw the meager Latino enrollment numbers come in, I took it into my own hands and started “Enroll OC,” an initiative to organize and connect my constituents to in-person, bilingual enrollment services. Within a month, we had over 20 Orange County enrollment events on the books and were spreading the word with every medium we had, at every public gathering we could and at every street corner in my district. This grassroots, personal outreach is the kind of work necessary to reach those who the law was meant to help."

"That's why.........I ......." The most overused expression in Washington. So Loretta comes up with yet another government nanny program to hold someone's hand, so they can do what everybody should be able to do on their own or get help from family or friends.

"We have come a long way from the East Room signing ceremony, but the truth is that this is just the beginning of our journey."

"Journey" Another overused word from the left. What Loretta is really saying is that they are a long way from success. Very long. In fact, they haven't come very far at all from that East Room signing ceremony when Obama cynically used little Marcelas as a prop.

"So while House Republicans continue their fruitless repeal efforts and other states fight over whether or not they should expand Medicaid, California will continue to progress, move forward and get every eligible Californian enrolled in quality, affordable health care."

"Ah wunnerful, ah wunnerful, ah!"

(Oh, those evil House Republicans. (As opposed to the Senate Republicans who are in the minority and can't or won't stop anything.)

"Rep. Loretta Sanchez, D-Santa Ana, serves in the 46th Congressional District."

Correction: Sanchez does not serve her Vietnamese-American constituents. On the contrary, she has pitted them against her Mexican-American constituents. But that is another story.
