Recently, some have questioned why we are monitoring those who leave the West to go and fight in Syria. A recent case broken in France explains why. French police have just prevented a terror attack in France by one of the returning Jihadists.

This is a concern for all Western countries who are seeing jihadists leaving to join the war in Syria. Those who return are liable to carry out acts of terror in our countries, as the above case illustrates.
