The incident took place at 11:20 on a train coming from Leuven. The victim was stabbed several times. The perpetrator, a 20-year-old who has reportedly been in our country for ten years, also tried to escape, but was eventually caught in the station by officers of Securail. "The victim was taken to the hospital in life-threatening condition," according to the federal police. "Two other people who saw the incident are in shock."
According to the prosecutor's officer, the man was administratively arrested earlier this week. At a certain moment, he was let out of his cell and kicked an officer.
