The New York Shooting

Hat tip Andy Ngo, Heavy, and Jihad Watch

Frank James

Of course, we've been following the horrific news out of New York City, where a man unleashed smoke bombs on a subway car and then proceeded to fire over 30 shots this morning. Though dozens are wounded, miraculously, nobody has died.

The NYPD has announced that they have linked a U-Haul truck to the shooter and that the vehicle was rented in Philadelphia by a Frank R. James.

Freelance reporter Andy Ngo, who has been a prominent reporter on the activities of Antifa, reports that he located James on social media (the photo also matches that released by NYPD) and that James has postings lauding the Nation of Islam. Whether James is a member of the NOI or just inspired by them is not yet been determined.

This act was clearly pre-planned and not a spontaneous act of rage. At this time, James is described by NYPD as a "person of interest". If James is indeed the shooter, the question is whether jihad was the motive. We don't know that as yet. It appears from some of the social postings that have been attributed to him that he held deep anger toward whites.
